Despite all of this nonsense, Virtua Tennis 4 still packs in plenty of authentic traditional tennis.- NZGamer

Overall, Dragon Ball Xenoverse is probably one of the best, if not the best, Dragon Ball related games out there – and there are a lot. You can replay missions to enhance your character. There are various trainers to go on missions for. It also has time travelling - and that’s always a good thing.- NZGamer

It makes good sense as a PC downloadable, where the interface and audience align, but here? Not so much.- NZGamer

Interesting concept, and fun with friends, but a lack of online competition makes it rather dull.- NZGamer

It would have been better if 2 and 3 were just released with the Sonic & Knuckles content instead of charging for a brand new download.- NZGamer

If you're a fan of the original, snap it up but otherwise consider what else you might buy with your $15 before you decide on this.- NZGamer

And while I found the avatars to be quite hideous looking (I opted for a red-afroed freak in grey boots and a red mini skirt), they have little actual bearing on the rest of the game, which looks and feels excellent.- NZGamer

While I’ve been on the verge of giving the game the people’s elbow, especially sitting through the long load times and when I lost a match because I couldn’t tag back into a tag team match; it’s a ‘tag’ team match, and I couldn’t figure out how to ‘tag’. It’s in the bloody stupid title. But, I’m going to keep playing. I love all the bluster, all the blood, and I want to eventually get a win by submission.- NZGamer

But, hey. It's cutesy, its cuddly, and for the young or true blue Pokémon fanatics it won't be a regrettable purchase.- NZGamer

Madballs may not be the flashiest, most original game on Xbox Live, but it's certainly the ballsiest. Seriously though, the single player game is a decent playthrough that gets better with a couple more players.- NZGamer

The game looks and sounds like Zelda but truthfully is Zelda in name only. Don't expect to be charmed in the slightest.- NZGamer

Although the gameplay is limited and only takes around 30 minutes to clock (per plane), 1942: Joint Strike is still a satisfying gaming experience.- NZGamer

The game does come in at a mid-price point of $69.99 though, which could be a factor when considering another PSVR shooter, Farpoint, comes out in May. If you remember Descent fondly, or enjoyed RIGS, then Starblood Arena could be worth checking out, but it’s hardly a PSVR seller. It’s a shame Sony don’t encourage playable PSVR demos to allow owners to at least try out a game before investing, because this is a game that’s difficult to recommend to everyone.- NZGamer

A simulation game fan looking for a hardcore micromanaging experience might want to look elsewhere, but for anyone else, Zoo Tycoon offers a whole lot of fun - with an important and oft neglected side dish of education and awareness raising.- NZGamer

The game is quite difficult to master, which will leave a lot of challenges unbeaten while you're still learning and that will extend the life of Stoked quite nicely, so long as you don't hurl the controller down and stalk off cursing Bongfish's name.- NZGamer

With a mixture of action and basic puzzles, they'll spark the imagination, keep them laughing, and soak up a decent amount of energy too. It's perfect for a lazy Sunday when you just want to sit back and read the paper.- NZGamer

Compared with other high profile RPGs and Square Enix's own recent big budget release, the inventiveness of NIER is well ahead. However, the graphics and the bad choices keep it well out of their league.- NZGamer

It’s hard to say whether Battlefront II will have any longevity or depth in the multiplayer department. A lot of it will depend on how EA proceed with loot boxes and DLC over the coming months, and they’ve already drastically changed things (we think for the better) in the first week of release. Yes, Star Wars fans will leap at the chance to enter a galaxy far, far away – and even casual players will appreciate the quick accessibility of multiplayer matches. But those looking for a deeper, more nuanced and balanced online experience might need to look elsewhere if things don’t improve further.- NZGamer

It’s a beautiful game to watch, but so insanely frustrating to play single player that you wouldn’t care if the game was hand-drawn by a mermaid riding a gold unicorn. The multiplayer co-op adds a lot more playability but usually multiplayer features like this should add to the solo experience, not justify it.- NZGamer
