Personally I’m afraid that Flock’s gameplay quirks will harm the experience for many gamers. I didn’t find them game-wrecking by any stretch of the imagination, but there will be some people who will throw their hands up in despair.- NZGamer

EA have a vested interest in seeing the NBA Live franchise land at the top of the basketball simulation sub-genre. While this year's iteration doesn’t quite get there, they’ve made a big enough leap for people to take notice, especially given the much lower price point than NBA 2K18.- NZGamer

If you know what you're letting yourself in for, go for it. It's a pocketable version of a minigame, with online play, and 3D that doesn't need glasses. It's honestly little more than that.- NZGamer

Unfortunately, the lack of multiplayer really lets the title down in overall value, but the campaign is enjoyable (bar some rough voice acting and gameplay quirks), and will take you a good 20-30 hours to complete.- NZGamer

Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom is a valiant attempt to capture the feel of AoT that is unfortunately encumbered by some underwhelming elements.- NZGamer

Despite all of these comments and my own personal opinion, this review isn't telling you what football game to buy this year. Both FIFA '11 and PES 2011 are completely different games and play to their own strengths and weaknesses.- NZGamer

You’re not going to find an incredible game here but what you do get is slickly presented game with a whole lot of laughs along the way.- NZGamer

Whatever you do, don’t just play the first 10 minutes of it. You’ll be utterly disappointed and will immediately wish you purchased another game. The biggest issue many will face is that there is no clear objective, and not a lot else to do other than walk around. But if you do play this, you’re going to need to stay committed - otherwise you’ll end up throwing your Vita against the wall.- NZGamer

The game as a whole is a charming package suitable for all ages. With its user friendly interface, addictive gameplay, generous number of levels and multiple modes, Crazy Machines Elements is worth the download.- NZGamer

It’s definitely a good game, one that shows promise for an action focused future in the Resident Evil franchise, but too many little annoyances add up to prevent it from being a great game.- NZGamer

Just Dance 2014 is still a whole lot of fun, particularly if you bring a few friends around to join in. Just make sure you keep a towel handy, as all that dancing can be sweaty work.- NZGamer

There’s an interesting mix of characters and environments to keep the gameplay fresh, and the soundtrack is a delight. It doesn’t hold up so well as a single-player experience because of the repetitive nature if you have to do everything yourself, but it’s a great party game with some friends.- NZGamer

It does get a little tiresome, however, with so few options and - more importantly, perhaps - the lack of variety in the look of the maps.- NZGamer

Army of Two is, at heart, a fairly standard action game that is saved from mediocrity by some fun co-operative gameplay. If you don’t have a friend to play through this with, you may as well stop reading right now.- NZGamer

So what are you getting for your $70, then? To be honest, not a lot. The remake's cool and all but you'd be hard pressed to justify paying more than $20 for it alone - even if you're a hardcore Tekken fan.- NZGamer

At risk of repeating other reviews, Battlefront has the form of a Star Wars game that feels like it’s still in the making. Whether from time constraints or by design, every ostensible grandeur and moment of fantasy it does so well to impress can be experienced with a day off. Its glamour and gloss only makes more regretful how little there is. After a ten-year hiatus, Battlefront is only a figment of what it wanted to be.- NZGamer

It's important to note that this DLC adds nothing new in terms of the gameplay. In a similar vein to the previous Kinect Sports Season 2 content for the golf component, this Midnight Mountain Ski Pack just adds new maps or tracks to your library. However, each new map has been well thought out and manages to get more juice out of the original game by offering up new challenges.- NZGamer

The single player campaign is a decent five to six hour haul, and considering most PSVR players will struggle to play solidly for more than a couple of hours, it feels longer than that overall. It’s well balanced too with moments of intense, nail-biting shooting, broken up with quiet sections where you can just survey your alien environment. Farpoint does an admirable job of delivering a sense of scale, and character models and animations are some of the better I’ve seen in the PSVR space to date. The game also includes some co-op levels where you can team up with another player online to wipe out waves of aliens together (thankfully there is friendly fire). For those who aren’t sure about which version of Farpoint to buy, I would strongly suggest you get the Aim Controller bundle. There’s around a $50 price difference, but I can’t help but feel that Farpoint is saved by the use of a proper gun controller.- NZGamer
