This is an obsolete high-score improvement tool good for little more than nostalgia.

If this game goes on sale in future, or reduces its price to a few bucks, only consider it if you're absolutely desperate for this type of experience. Right now though, Flap Flap can flap off.

An almost obnoxiously simple game like Mysterious Stars: The Singer doesn't seem like it would have much of an audience to begin with, but the fact that it's bound to disappoint that audience is the real problem.

This game does no favours whatsoever to its brand, its players, or other creators who would demonstrate more consideration in making children’s games. A real shame.

There are few, if any, redeeming qualities to Explody Bomb and we'd strongly recommend that you skip over this one.

FIFA 22 marks the third time EA has given us FIFA 19 with a different shirt on. It may clearly state Legacy Edition on the title, but being kicked in the groin isn't any less painful if your assailant tells you they're going to do it in advance. Once again, EA has insulted Switch owners by giving them the version it usually releases on dead systems. Do not accept it.

Cake Ninja XMAS is refreshingly unpretentious - it's almost as if the developers are aware of how bad it is - but that's about the only positive thing you can say about it.

Triple Running Sports seems to improve somewhat on the waggle-recognition issues that plagued Triple Jumping Sports, but that doesn't make the waggling any more fun.

Anne's Doll Studio: Princess Collection, like the rest of the titles in this so-called series, does what it says it's going to do and nothing more. It's not broken, but the clunky interface, lack of options and frustrating presentation ruin any fun the user may have.

We always knew Garfield was something of a rebel, but taking a bad six-year-old game, making it even worse to play, pretending it’s a sequel and charging Switch owners more than double the price to suffer it is some pretty subversive stuff. The original Garfield Kart is extremely cheap on Steam: considering this is a more broken version of the same game, you might as well buy that instead. Even if you don’t have a PC, you’ll have wasted less money.

Sexy Poker is something of a letdown for fans of both poker and sexiness. Lacking in both qualities, the game is not even sufficient as a teaching tool to learn Texas Hold ‘Em poker, as the instructions on how to play are skimpier than the costumes.

This portable Prehistoric Party takes the best elements of the Wii U version — the fun of playing with friends and a personable presentation — and throws them out the window. What's left is a half-hearted collection of mediocre mini-games, with nothing to tie them together and no compelling reason to play them.

All in all, Emojikara: A Clever Emoji Match Game is anything but clever. Featuring shallow, luck based gameplay, shoddy presentation and poor English, one really must wonder if this went through any sort of quality assurance before being dragged out the door.

All told, Jackpot 777 is a game that feels rather useless. It's no stretch to say that there have been Google Doodles that were more entertaining and had deeper gameplay than this.

But for anyone looking to play Angry Birds on their 3DS, there are retail versions that offer a much stronger experience. Steer clear of Angry Bunnies.

The overall package is quite unpolished, the game gives you little incentive to play along correctly and a $20 add-on for the Balance Board is needed to get the most out of this already overpriced software.

There's nothing about it that is exciting. There's no encouragement to keep playing. There's no real skill involved. Some annoying music and dodging brick cars? That's all there is to it, and it's just not worth a block of time.

It didn’t have to be this way. WayForward has worked minor miracles with licensed fare before – see Aliens: Infestation and The Mummy Demastered. But this is work for hire of the most rotten kind, showing total contempt for the fans it hopes to lure in with a bright, likeable licence. Trollhunters is one of the less enjoyable things to happen to us this year. Given what a year it’s been, that is quite a feat.

Fantasy Slots: Adventure Slots and Games is a turkey: pointless beyond measure, joyless without equal, it's at least consistent in offering dull, unappealing slot machines.

Nothing short of a travesty. It's an ugly and uncompromisingly detestable assemblage of poorly recreated winter sporting events that has no business even existing. If you purchase and subsequently subject yourself to Winter Sports 2012, then you have nobody to blame but yourself. You have been warned.

Tennis is so lacklustre in every single department that we’re honestly baffled this managed to get a full release. The modes on offer are incredibly basic, the characters are dire, and the lack of any sort of progression through the game means there’s absolutely nothing to keep you going. The Joy-Con controls are a very small highlight, but Tennis is one we’ll want to forget in a hurry.

Digital Leisure did all right in implementing written number recognition (aside from the aforementioned X problem), and Grand Sudoku was a rather ingenious idea, but the complete lack of an Undo feature makes Sudoku Challenge! nearly impossible, and as if that weren't bad enough, the bland graphics and blander sounds join together to kick you while you're already down.

There's very little reason to purchase SpaceRoads. There are plenty of better games on the eShop, with cheap and poor design at the forefront here; the repetitive freezing bug is also unacceptable. Wurd Industries has an interesting idea here - there's definitely room for quick-fix games like this - but it's simply not ready for primetime.

Brunswick Pro Bowling is a bit of both, a mediocre licensed title developed by a relatively small studio with little experience. Sadly this one was doomed since the day it got greenlit.
