Despite some rough patches, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is a worthy addition to any Switch owner's library, especially if you have a predilection for RPGs and enjoyed either of the previous entries in the series. [Issue #32 – March/April 2018, p. 75]- Nintendo Force Magazine

If it had been released closer to the franchise's heyday, Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth could have been seen as one of the all-time greats. As it stands, it's a fun stew of mixed influences that often does things by the numbers, but goes harder with its art than it has to. [Issue #60 – July/August 2022, p. 75]- Nintendo Force Magazine

There are technical limitations inherent with the Switch version of Dark Souls, but if you're from a time where you can fight through it, you should be OK. [Issue #37 – January/February 2019, p. 73]- Nintendo Force Magazine

While Sega Ages: Sonic the Hedgehog 2 isn't the best version of the game you can play, it is nevertheless the best version you're going to find on any home console today. [Issue #46 – May/June 2020, p. 23]- Nintendo Force Magazine

It's oozing with style and substance, but it's more for people who love connecting with the artist behind their games, and less for those looking for a virtual playground to call their own. [Issue #51 – March/April 2021, p. 16]- Nintendo Force Magazine

If you really liked Happy Home Designer, you'll be very happy with how Happy Home Paradise improves on its formula, especially after you've worked your way up the ranks. If you're not interested in interior decorating, the only things you'll be missing out on of any note would be the ability to craft room dividers and redecorating your neighbors' homes. Playing through this game brought me back to my childhood, when I played the Pokémon Trading Card Game and Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sacred Cards on my old Game Boys. We haven't seen many collectible card games like those on the Switch in recent years, but Shadowverse: Champion's Battle fits their mold well. So, if you're longing for that anime card game experience, give it a try and get ready to duel! [Issue #55 – October 2021, p. 71]- Nintendo Force Magazine

Pikmin 1 is now playable on the Switch, and it has a natural HD facelift as a result of being on the newer hardware, but it doesn't offer anything extra or new beyond that. It's been pulled back out of the past and made available again, and that's it! And honestly, for a great game like this, that can be enough. Astalon's quality is undeniable. Its character animation, puzzles and power-up progression are all top- notch, and the copious extras (like a mode where you play as one of the campaign's reoccurring bosses), all show that this was a labor of love.
