Head to toe, Wargroove is packed to the brim with quality content. Single player offerings are lengthy and varied, although some punishing mission design led to more frustration than I would have liked. Combined with the beefy multiplayer and the jaw-dropping customization tools, Wargroove is one of the most impressive strategy games I’ve seen in years. Fans of Advance Wars will be right at home with Wargroove, but don’t be surprised if you end up becoming an even bigger Wargroove fan.- Nintendo Enthusiast

The Gardens Between is delightful, its soundtrack is beautiful and calming, its art style is pleasing, its characters are charming and expressive, and its story is touching and melancholic, and I found myself truly amazed by the consistently great level design. After initially thinking the time-warping mechanic would get dull after time, I was delighted to be proven wrong by The Voxel Agents, who kept reinventing themselves and providing clever new ways to solve puzzles to keep me on my toes, as well as having a perfect duration of the experience, and ending with a simple, beautiful, and touching moment I won’t forget for a long time.- Nintendo Enthusiast

On the whole, Yoshi’s Crafted World is an excellent platformer worth picking up for any Switch owner. It’s a beefy experience, with lots of levels to beat and items to explore. The art style is unique and the levels innovative. While the bosses and music aren’t perfect, they do little to detract from the overall experience. Yoshi’s Crafted World is well worth playing with friends or alone.- Nintendo Enthusiast

Deltarune is the follow-up to the critically acclaimed indie RPG Undertale. The first two chapters have all of the great humor, music, writing, and storytelling you would expect from Toby Fox and makes the series's world much deeper and more mysterious.- Nintendo Enthusiast

Despite being a port of a 2002 GameCube game, Mr. Driller DrillLand feels, looks, and hangs with games as they are today. There are tons of depth to the core game, but add a ton of built-in variants that really change your approach and you've got an exemplary entry. The new difficulty setting is a great touch, too.- Nintendo Enthusiast

Not only do they add to an already great experience, but they made the game feel fresh. Rin’s introduction to the storyline added a whole new dimension to the already twisted love triangle, while Remix mode did the same for the puzzles. It is a little disappointing, however, that Catherine: Full Body didn’t quite solve the issues its takes on transgender people created in the original. That said, if you haven’t played Catherine before, now’s a great chance to jump on the train. If you have, Catherine: Full Body is certainly worthy of the encore.- Nintendo Enthusiast

Raging Justice is the perfect game to run through in a single sitting or try to complete the list of challenges for each level. Fans of the genre will find many resemblances to games like Final Fight and Streets of Rage. There’s enough replay value to invite you in—just don’t let the difficulty scare you away.- Nintendo Enthusiast

Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory uses one of the franchise's most defining features to expertly craft a love letter to the series. Whether you're a longtime fan or a newcomer to the franchise, the wealth of content included in this package is incredibly worthwhile.- Nintendo Enthusiast

As it always has been, Ikaruga is a must-play for anyone even remotely interested in shoot ‘em ups. Truthfully, its budget price and extreme quality make it a worthwhile foray into the genre even for those who have never been interested in shmups. The difficulty is daunting, but does not detract from the rewarding experience, and polarity-switching makes for a unique and addictive experience.- Nintendo Enthusiast

Because it’s so different from the past games, the fact that it comes under the Steamworld umbrella is a bit jarring, but the whole Western cowboy theme fits in nicely with the game.- Nintendo Enthusiast

However, those that decide to pick up the latest Shin Megami Tensei title will be pleasantly delighted by its gameplay and dungeon deisgn. With a near barren summer release schedule this year, Tokyo Mirage Session is the perfect game to sink hours and hours into.- Nintendo Enthusiast

I appreciated the very dark nature of the story. Usually, when playing through games with moral choices I usually choose the options that are “good.” The story is actually pretty hard to swallow in Conquest. The game has no problem killing off good characters, and on multiple occasions I was devastated to see the way that the story would play out.- Nintendo Enthusiast

The collection offers a wide range of experiences suitable for any shooter fan. In solo play, the Switch combines an absurdly addicting grind with true pick-up-and-play functionality, and if you have a few friends who grab the games as well, get ready for some long, intense sessions full of wacky humor and action-packed quests. I’ve enjoyed some Borderlands in my time, but now that I’ve gotten a taste of the fully realized flexibility of portable loot-’n-shoot action, I’m not sure I ever want to play the series a different way again.- Nintendo Enthusiast

For someone who generally shies away from more casual games such as Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, it really did a lot to win me over. I was surprised by just how much there is to do in Mineral Town, and as a result, I often found myself mapping out a to-do list for the following day. There’s always something to work towards, be it growing crops, improving tools, or starting a relationship, and this really helped things from getting too stale. Between the laid-back gameplay and cutesy art style, Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town has renewed my appreciation of more casual games. It is definitely a game I will return to time and time again when I need to de-stress.- Nintendo Enthusiast

The controls may be a little flawed due to the Switch hardware, but the game rises above this. The racing is of a high quality, and the difficulty is easily tailored to your preferences. There’s loads of content on offer to keep racing fans busy for weeks and months to come. And this is even before multiplayer is added to the game. If you are a Switch owner and have even a passing interest in racing games, then GRID Autosport is a title you must have in your game library.- Nintendo Enthusiast

If you decide to pick up 20XX—you’re going to have a bad time. You’re going to die, you’re going to be frustrated, maybe even throw your controller in a fit of rage. Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn certainly has a home on the 3DS. Unfortunately, the co-op mode in the Wii version is gone and the “fuzziness” of the visuals here makes it suffer a bit, but it’s still good wholesome fun. Even though we’re all about the Switch now in 2019, it’s nice to see one last quality title from Nintendo make its way to the handheld. This is as good of a sendoff as we could hope for.- Nintendo Enthusiast

WarioWare: Get It Together! is a WAH-nderful addition to the WarioWare series. Between the microgames themselves, the quirky humor, and the new mechanic featuring all of Wario's friends, this game is a gift to fans of the series. Senran Kagura Peach Ball has earned every bit of its Mature rating, and I’m honestly surprised that it made its way to a Nintendo platform, let alone the Nintendo Switch. Fans of the series will no doubt have trouble keeping their eyes locked on their pinballs while still feverishly fondling their flippers. And to anyone else curious, you might find yourself as surprised as I was. I guess, after all, this game does have a happy ending.- Nintendo Enthusiast

Ultimately, the replay value of Super Mario Maker 2 is an infinity symbol. There is just an insane number of variables that ensure inventive new levels will be created for years to come. Likewise, player rankings and unlockable costumes incentivize players to keep going. And when you start to get fatigued, you can always hop back into Story Mode to relax and recharge. Annoyances like imperfect building controls and laggy online play put a slight damper on things, but they’re not deal-breakers. Super Mario Maker 2 is a mandatory Mario experience.- Nintendo Enthusiast
