The ambition may not coincide with the final result in games such as 39 Days to Mars, but it is clear that, from the point of view of the videogame analyst, indie studios like It's Anecdotal make us optimistic about the artistic quality of the industry in the immediate future.

Gunbird 2 is a retro shoot'em up with very detailed graphics and charismatic characters. Like many others, it is very short and has few game modes, although it offers long hours of play on Nintendo Switch thanks to its gameplay.

Not being a game that stands out, it is true that it has a deep story and gameplay. It has several challenging and funny final bosses. Nevertheless, the personality of the characters and its audiovisual aspect are quite weak.

Like almost all simulation games, this title has its serious part and its humor part. It offers a deep and precise gameplay with an extraordinary interaction to make us feel like a professional surgeon, but its control spoils that great work by causing great disasters and creating quite extravagant situations.

Toby: The Secret Mine is a title inspired by great works such as Limbo, Badland and Nihilumbra, but it maintains its own personality, being a simpler, more entertaining, shorter and colourful proposal. Without a doubt we are facing a very short but intense experience, which leaves us wanting more. It's a shame, because with a little more levels, puzzles, variety of situations and collectibles you could have gone much further.

Fights are simulated in this game, fact that makes the title lose strength. With active combats, the game would be improved and it would find itself less drab.

The bloody indie strategy game lands on Nintendo Switch while we wait for its second part. Short but fun, especially if you play with a friend.

Big Pharma is an interesting game about pharmaceutical management that offers a good gaming experience if the player manages to overcome a rather tedious start and a large number of texts that are difficult to see due to their size.

Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions is an arcade boxing game that fans of the Rocky Balboa movies will love and that ends up suffering from a lack of variety in game modes and greater depth in its gameplay. It is an entertaining game that you will like if you want to have a few fights without too many pretensions.

If the fact that it is just an exploration and puzzle-solving game does not pull you out, there is a moment when it can happen to be dull. Its design and music will seduce you.

Eekeemo: Splinters of the Dark Shard is a curious game in which we fight with a myriad of enemies during 5 chapters, in which we accompany Eekeemoo and his friends. Its gameplay is reminiscent of the Warriors saga, and its level construction is similar to Spyro. The soundtrack leaves a lot to be desired and can be boring, as it is very simple.

Aerial_Knight's Never Yield is a visually striking and entertaining 3D runner that, despite being great to enjoy anytime, is monotonous, short, and has little content. A shame, since it had the potential to become one of the most important indie games on Nintendo Switch.

A Gummy's Life is a very enjoyable fighting game. Its technical section is not the best, but it is enough for what it was looking for: chaotic and fun matches.

Manticore: Galaxy on Fire is a space action game where we have to accomplish assignments in a mercenary corps, leaving the story in the background. Its direct action, a decent gameplay and good visual fluidity are the only things that can be highlighted in a title that ends up becoming repetitive and cold in most of its aspects.

Gravity Duck is a simple game due to its level mechanics. Despite this, it is quite fun because the levels are varied and the music sounds great. It can also offer you your own challenges with your friends to find out who is faster.

A relaxing story with beautiful moments and good touch controls, but that doesn't include motion controls and doesn't risk in the way of adapting a book to a video game.

Infliction: Extended Cut is a horror title with good ideas but unable to successfully execute any of them. Luckily, its story, its environment and its sounds stand out against a poor graphic section and playable elements that take us away from a complete terrifying experience.

Music normally tells how a game is. Lost in Harmony doesn't have its own soundtrack, so it doesn't have its own identity. Besides, the audio is fine and the visuals are really connected to the story. This creates an innovative and challenging musical endless run game.

NBA 2K23 is once again the best basketball game available on Nintendo Switch. However, such a milestone has no merit when, in addition to not innovating, there is no real competition in the market. Therefore, it is a perfect title only for lovers of that sport.

A different, fun racing title, with varied game modes (although the online mode is missing) and with official licenses and a wide variety of vehicles and scenarios. Technically, the trucks look full of details and very similar to the real ones. However, the scenarios have "popping" as well as very poor textures.

If you have been a fan of the Assassin's Creed saga for a long time, you will surely have fun playing Assassin's Creed III Remastered and seeing the improvements that have been implemented. If you are not, the beginning of this adventure will not seem enjoyable, but I would say that it is worth it.

A story with no side quests along with a boring exploration. However, the puzzles are original and the game is addictive. Tai is a reincarnation that keeps Link's soul in Ness's body. This is more a problem than a blessing.

The greatness of this game relies on its willfulness, trying to carry out a project full of tension, characteristic of the madness and the dilemmas of the science fiction genre. To accomplish that, they introduce insane characters, capable of causing real apprehension, especially accentuated by a good soundtrack. Sadly, all these great ideas fail to amaze us due to a simplistic level design and because it's deprived of terror.

Do Not Feed The Monkeys is a frenzied management title, so frenzied that it prevents you from paying attention to a well-crafted story because you will have to attend to your vital needs before that narrative. Fortunately, the developers offer us a good touch control.
