Mario & Luigi: Brothership is the grand return of the franchise that so many fans have been waiting for. The game brings together everything that made the series fun, and enhances it with gorgeous graphics, a fun cast of characters, and addictive, action-packed turn-based combat.

It's one of the best platformers ever, full of beautifully designed levels and a sense of action and fun that's hard to match. However, if you've played it recently, apart from its graphical upgrade, it doesn't have much else new to offer.

1979 Revolution: Black Friday is a good interactive adventure, whose main asset is a plot based on the Iranian revolution, a historical fact that has been little explored in the world of video games. It is capable of keeping us wanting to play and to know more about what happened in reality. Its graphical aspect and duration partly reduce this experience, which is compensated for by a remarkable sound section.

With the inclusion of some improvements such as HD rumble or high definition graphics, this is the best version of a very enjoyable title. In addition to its main single-player mode, its cooperative multiplayer mode is quite complete and gives many hours of gameplay with friends both locally and online.

Flashback 25th Anniversary brings us the nostalgia of playing a game which was a hit some time before. We will play like we did then, with the same graphics and soundtrack, but on our portable console this time. Playing this game again is nothing but worth it.

Cat Quest II offers a huge open world full of humor and references. It is purrfect to play cooperatively with action battles full of items, dungeons and magic.

We found in Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion a title that surpasses what we can consider a remaster, offering a deluxe visual revamp with engaging chapter-based gameplay that is ideal for the Nintendo Switch. Its structure may be a little repetitive at times, but it's still a very enjoyable ride for the fans.

Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection is a return to a classic trilogy that defined the dungeon crawler genre. Although it now has HD graphics, a perfect translation into other languages such as Spanish and a decent adaptation to Nintendo Switch controls, it will appeal mainly to players who are already fans of the series.

The Game Kitchen has managed to get the most out of the Andalusian tradition with a twist towards violence and extreme gore. Blasphemous has a soul, has passion and will make us spend a penance that, unfortunately, ends. An essential title for fans of the metroidvania genre.

Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE feels like a complete evolution of what Danganronpa was all about, offering a series of very interesting mysteries, unexpected plot twists and an excellent cast. While its gameplay can get a bit repetitive, getting to the end of the game rewards you with an unforgettable story.

XCOM 2 is a great option for anyone looking for an entertaining turn-based strategy game on Nintendo Switch today. Mind you, it is a challenging game, which is why perhaps less experienced players can go through some issues while playing the main campaign.

The Adventure Pals has a good co-op mode, an endearing design and its goal, which pretty much achieves, is to make players smile. Is there anything more Nintendo than this?

Super Crush KO features an explosion of an action experience, which goes very well with the game's garish colours. With its light-hearted plot and frantic combat, the game has a lot to offer for those looking for a fun and action-packed experience. It also runs out of assets rather quickly, and its level bosses are somewhat repetitive but Super Crush KO on the Nintendo Switch won't disappoint anyone looking for some good, frantic fun.

We should celebrate the arrival of the title for Nintendo players in the West. It's great to be able to explore the world of Yakuza for the first time on this platform. Japan has already received ports of the first games on Wii U, but this release is the first significant introduction for many fans in the West.

A remaster that looks great with its improvements in lighting and shadows. It brings us back a fast-paced hack and slash game full of melodies that give the title an epic touch. The most negative point is perhaps the transition from action to platforms.

Even though it doesn’t include many new features, Outlast: Bundle of Terror is a really interesting pack that horror survival fans will love. Both the intense atmosphere and the vulnerability feeling of the main character make us deep dive into the story compensating its small graphic issues.

Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty comes to Nintendo Switch so that we can enjoy the remake of a classic game now also in handheld mode. It is the same version of the remake that was released on other platforms years ago with the same quality.

A really nice visual novel, careful and with a deep story. It is a risky proposal and, therefore, it lacks in the combat part. These are slow and monotonous, with hardly any options.

Super Tennis Blast is a more than worthy tennis game whose casual graphic style hides great depth. The large number of game modes and the precision of its controls can give you many hours of fun. However, we miss a little more difficulty at its highest levels.

A modest return of Metal Slug in a new genre for the series, lacking variety and full of rough edges to be polished but with great potential. If Leikir Studios were willing to pamper and fill out their project as they have done with the art and the references now that they don't have the pressure of the release date, we could be looking at a highly recommended title not only for fans of the series.

Yooka-Replaylee offers the ideal combination: on the one hand, the nostalgia of classic games for veterans, and on the other, an accessible experience for curious youngsters thanks to the inclusion of numerous quality-of-life (QoL) improvements. While it doesn't add anything revolutionary, it's clear how they've improved over time, and we can only wait for a third installment where they'll unleash even more creativity and see what surprises they have in store for us.

Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 is a good compilation although some games are missing. Once again, Capcom is committed to recover some of the best titles of Mega Man, which are accompanied by new features to make it easier for new players, but at the same time they return with the challenging difficulty of the past for the most veteran players. In short, a compilation that, although it can be improved, is essential for any fan of the series.

The game repeats practically everything of its predecessor. However, the critique of corporatism is so great and unique that it deserves to be played for the second time with new levels.
