It's hardcore gameplay from beginning to nigh-impossible end...just the way it's supposed to be. When you beat a game, you're supposed to feel as if you've accomplished something.

With the inclusion of the chapter system and the longer days, there is an absolute guarantee that A Wonderful Life will keep gamers captivated for countless hours.

The best squad-based tactical game available for the PC. If you liked "X-Com," this will probably fit the bill for you.

There is no damage in Gran Turismo 4. This to me was a colossal disappointment. It’s not like I was expecting it, but this is supposed to be the real driving simulator... not the real bumper-car driving simulator... There are absolutely ZERO consequences for slamming into another car around a corner or brushing a barrier.

Due to the controlled nature of the game, the battles and leveling system are very tight and logical. It's the perfect game for a cold winter's day inside, and it can be played almost forever. If you want to know what the world “epic” means, then just go ahead and play Gladius.

Even the non-stellar titles are at least playable, and nothing that I would consider "bad," since they all had their own sort of innovative aspects.

Unparalleled graphics, improvements to the combat system and a longer gameplay experience don’t completely make up for a weak storyline and other annoyances, but the result is still solid.

Much like "Sword of Mana," Mario Golf: Advance Tour is a good game that is partially done in by really, really bad AI.

The best thing to come out of the prequels, since the films thus far have not stood on their own.

Hopefully, Activision will finally decide that this is the year to take off and reinvent the series; otherwise, I won’t need to play "Tony Hawk’s Underground 3"; I’ll have played it six times already.

For what the game is, a stylish, in-your-face, shoot everything in sight, moving or not, killfest, the game's excellent. [Import]

While I typically do not give a whole lot of credit for sports game that cram worn out music tracks, I have to admit the MLB 2006 sound track is pretty diverse in terms of music styles, which is good for representing a player's at-bat music.

There doesn't seem to be a huge gap in play balancing, but the fact that there are so many different factions to play as doesn't seem to bring too much to the table.

The originality in this series is pretty much gone. On the other hand, those who pick up this game as their first Onimusha title will most likely come away with being very pleased with what they play.

The game falls short of becoming a classic simply due to the simplistic control and combat system.

Stalking around the environments can be genuinely creepy at times, but the game hardly offers the sort of frights delivered by, say, Silent Hill 4. With somewhat repetitive gameplay and the fact that I had a hard time actually caring about the story, Ghosthunter is one to rent for the weekend and have a little fun.

It's hard to say why Episode III is an improvement over Episode II; it's kind of like trying to explain why a roast beef sandwich is better than a sucker-punch to the crotch.

It is leagues beyond its predecessors and I found myself fully engrossed in it. Its sharp graphics, diverse weapons and level design, and high replay value make it a very strong title despite its weak AI and frustrating moments.

While the plot does advance quite a bit, Bandai got a little sloppy with some of the threads, and you get the sense that they fell in love too much with the idea of a cliffhanger.

But the fact is, I've never seen the concept handled so well. Despite the fact that you can't tune an individual Borg (like you could do in Custom Robo), you can build such a dizzying array of different lineups that this game has so much more playability than almost any other Gamecube action game.

It offers superb storytelling and a very engaging gameplay. Almost all puzzles are tough, but logical. Unfortunatelly, it will never appeal to a large audience; it’s not challenging enough for veteran players, it doesn’t offer enough eye candy for people spoiled by titles like Syberia, and it’s too low-key for the general gaming population.

Truth be told, the presentation is awful, but this replay value is built to last with the right audience. And hey, with an easy 1000 points in achievements to be had (I unlocked them all within a few sessions), it's at least worth a rental for those on the fence.

The hardcore baseball game fans won't like it, and I don't know how many other people like me are out there who are just really, really tired of dealing with the seemingly decreasing value of gameplay in these baseball games. I liked it though.
