It's really difficult to judge Heavy Rain. The new David Cage masterpiece is something to love or to hate without any compromise. General Knoxx is exactly the kind of DLC that the fans of Borderlands were hoping for: a brand new set of missions with new enemies, locations and loots. The high difficulty setting, especially on the second run, makes this DLC perfect for those who reached the previous level cap.

Endless Ocean 2 is a step forward for the series: this time there is a nice plot and a real ending to achieve, but the game doesn't lose its fundamental relaxing and fascinating nature. While it may be still too slow for some, Endless Ocean 2 will surely appeal to much more gamers this time around.

Bonfire of the Vanities is overall a much better experience than the Battle of Forlì, however is not an essential purchase and misses the level of polish and quality of the main quest.

With this DLC, Capcom tried hard to both deepen Resident Evil 5's storyline and please seasoned fans of the saga, who still want more survival horror action. And Capcom mostly succeeded in this intent, but the game in itself is really too short to be more than a nice addition.

The game confirms its strengths and its limitations at the same time. The auto-aim places great emphasis on action rather than strategy, but ends up making the firefights really too easy. The single player campaign lasts only a few hours, but multiplayer modes work great for up to 16 players with voice chat. Fans of the series will not be disappointed, definitely.

A good campaign, the marine one, and some variety in gameplay mechanics provide a quite fun experience. Unfortunately some ideas lack polish and the other two-thirds of the single player are just not as good as they were supposed to be.

While not, by far, the revolution in the series Capcom promised us, Investigations is probably the best Ace Attorney yet. Those which are introduced as new elements, are actually better versions of the old, loved ones, and all in all this is a good thing. Furthermore, Edgeworth is a very well crafted character and he alone could justify this new episode. Another great game in the series!

BioShock 2 is the general improvement of the first title. Everything about the gameplay is better, from the action to the level design. The plot is involving and the player has a continuous sense of progression with new weapons, monsters or plasmids. But there are several problems from the technical aspects to the aquatic sections of the game and above all BioShock 2 is a constant deja-vu. It is wonderful, very wonderful but not wonderful as the first game.

Dante's Inferno is a decent action game packed with 60 frames per second and a lot of fun. Some problems related to the gameplay, the story and balance of difficulty prevents it from being on par with the best action games around.

Star Ocean: The Last Hope International is being released in the shadow of Final Fantasy XIII which is however much less traditional than this Tri-Ace release of the acclaimed sci-fi series and its JRPGesque features: cities, quests, optional content, secret bosses, lengthy and elaborate dungeons. Although not standing out visually speaking, Star Ocean: The Last Hope offers an enjoyable plot and interesting characters together with an outstanding battle system and quite a lot of features which make it a long-lasting and compelling game.

Call of Pripyat has more varied missions and a really unique atmosphere which makes it better than Clear Sky and the most polished in the series.

Cryptic did well recreating the Star Trek universe and the space combat works just fine. It's so a shame that ground episodes are that bad and the experience feels less massive than It was supposed to be.

White Knight Chronicles isn't the best JRPG of current consoles generation, especially because it does not have a great graphical impact or a very original story line. Anyway, thanks to a fair online play mode and a good gameplay that mixes MMORPG and classic role play games elements it's still a decent game.

Legends of Exidia is a mature and complete game that represent a significant step forward for the Nintendo internet based service DSi-Ware. This adventure is a good action-rpg based on the old style Japanese titles of the '90, but lacks the magic of the true classics.

The Battle of Forlì is a disappointing DLC that is build on some of the weakest parts of the original game; not really an essential purchase then, even at the low price point.

If you can get over the compromises through which the X360 version went starting from the PC one, you may enjoy a fun and compelling game. Board game's fans should surely give a close look.
