We expected Entwined to be an intense, atmospheric experience, but the game definitely failed to deliver.

Mugen Souls Z is quit similar to its prequel and offers the same basic experience with sub-par visuals and overlong dialogues and cut-scenes. Plot is all over the place, but its unique and rather funny combat system keeps things engaging.

Lifeless Planet fails to develop its strong points. It’s a good try that has totally wasted its potential.

Angry Birds Epic delivers a fun, tactic RPG experience, packed with a good number of characters, jobs, items and enemies.

This is, probably, the worse chapter of the series. It has several good ideas but the gameplay is still too basic.

This is only a strange and not-so-good experiment made by Namco Bandai to try the free-to-play model.

Arcadecraft is far too simplistic to entertain for more than a play through. The coin-ops are well made, but the game lack of customization option for the only scenario included in the game.

Among the Sleep makes us feel what it means to be a two years old kid running from a monster. It's not fear that we feel, it's panic. But there's not much more besides this. Only boring game mechanics and silly puzzles in some uninteresting environments.

Astebreed is a deep and fun arcade mecha shooter. Short but a must-try.

Tomodachi Life is not really a life simulator. If you were expecting a sort of Animal Crossing with Miis, you are going for a huge disappointment. As it is, Tomodachi Life is a fun game to play for a few minutes once in a while: it gets pointless and repetitive fast, but it's always fun to see Miis interact and do weird things.

Drakengard 3 offers an irreverent plot, a good soundtrack and interesting boss fights, but everything is penalized by a repetitive combat system, camera issues and graphical slowdown.

Inazuma Eleven Go does not really add anything new to the franchise, but it's visually impressive and finally does justice to the original anime. Gameplay is also crispier and faster. Fans will definitely love it.

Ultra Street Fighter IV renews the formula of the wonderful fourth chapter in the Capcom's fighting series another time with a good selection of new characters and a balanced new set of revisions that can appeal the pro player, but after 4 years and various iterations the average consumer starts to feel the need for something completely new.

Always Sometimes Monsters is probably one of the best narrative driven games of the year. It talks about choices and morality, love and hate, life and death as few other games have done till now.

Conception II is not a bad jRPG, but it's shallow and repetitive and lacks of meaningful characters and events, which means plot twists and dating sim mechanics feels superficial. That being said, it's also quite misogynist and icky, with all its sexual innuendo and bad script.

It’s a competent even if somewhat uninspired arcade racer, but F1 Race Stars on iOS is bulked by way too many in-app purchases, making it one of those pay-to-win kind of games.

Monochroma is a good puzzle platformer with a remarkable artistic level, inspired by famous products such as ICO and Limbo, however, the game mechanics are sometimes affected by imprecise controls and a physics engine not always responsive. The social commitment of the developers is laudable.

The first act of DreadOut shows all the potential of the full game, still in development. The atmosphere is thick and scary and wherever you go, something happens. It takes only three to four hours to beat the game, but with so many different ghosts to fend off, it's a trip that's worth your time.
