WWE 2K26 is without a doubt the most content-rich entry ever produced by 2K Games for the series, thanks to a massive roster, new match stipulations, and a robust set of modes that could keep you busy for hundreds of hours. The Showcase dedicated to CM Punk is genuinely enjoyable and entertaining, while MyRise can't rely on a storyline as compelling as last year's. Meanwhile, The Island once again highlights the issues of a scenario that proves surprisingly difficult to manage for a game that continues to experience ups and downs, both on a technical level and - above all - in terms of gameplay.

Very nice mix between strategy and word game, same great playability from iOS version, plus the multiplayer. English could be harsh for someone.

Not as good has the first two masterpieces, the game created by Telltale is definitely challenging and funny, very respectful of the legacy of Guybrush and his friends. The new 3D visuals are good and punchlines, jokes and puzzles are well devised and let you enter smoothly in the world of LeChuck.

The best golf simulation available on the market. The Masters tournament is a truly nice addition this year, but maybe it's not enough if you already bought last year's edition.

Arena of Valor it's an awesome MOBA to play on Nintendo Switch. The new control system it's pretty neat and it works really well with the Joy-Con. If you love the genre you can't miss the opportunity to jump in and start playing right now.

Shovel Knight succeeds again, even in a game structured differently from the original one, but somehow similar to it. Shovel Knight Dig is a delightful roguelike that maintains the core movements and control of the platform but with an exciting, vertical twist.

KarmaZoo is a unique game without major flaws, except for the fact that it does not completely surprise. It is enjoyable, easy to approach and varied, but shallow in its various mechanics. It is, however, an excellent cooperative game to play with strangers and we recommend it.

Gears of War: Reloaded represents a very important step in Microsoft’s current strategy, marking the beginning of a path that will inevitably lead to a multiplatform launch for the highly anticipated prequel Gears of War: E-Day. Most notably, it signals the debut of an iconic Xbox intellectual property on PS5, a franchise that has meant (and still means) so much to a large number of fans of the green brand. This new edition takes the excellent Ultimate Edition released ten years ago and refreshes it just enough to make it feel current, relying on the depth of a gameplay that remains devilishly fun.

Through its action-oriented gameplay, Bloodline Champions is very demanding in terms of time and experience since every character plays differently and you have to learn exactly how in order to win a match.

As much as a good game the Wii U version was, Pokkén Tournament DX is a disappointing, lazy porting which adds very little content and looks somewhat worse than it was a generation ago.

Storm the Train is simple, fun and terribly addictive. There are many weapons and items you can unlock, and there are a lot of monsters to fight with them.

Dicefolk is a roguelite that gives us power over randomness. We roll the dice, analyse the available moves and choose what our team will do as well as the opposing team. By playing on both sides of the fence, we can create more elaborate and fun strategies to field. Dicefolk is suitable for those who want to be challenged but also those who prefer not to play dozens of hours without gaining a single victory.

Just like every good puzzle should be, You Me and the Cubes is based on a simple, yet brilliant concept. There are some flaws, especially regarding the controls and the repetitive gameplay, but it's however a pleasure to play in short sessions.

Amerzone: The Explorer's Legacy is an excellent remake, in every respect. The modern graphics do justice to Sokal's vision and please the eye of today's gamers. Each gameplay section has been expanded with new puzzles. In addition, there are two difficulty levels and also a gradual clue system that allows players to never get stuck. The original work is not Sokal's best, that's for sure, as some of the puzzles are a bit too simple even for those who are not experts in the genre, but this is certainly the right version to play, both for new and old fans.

Dynasty Warriors Origins may only be a small step for action games, but it's a huge leap for musou. Omega Force has finally created a title that harnesses much of the immense potential of this unique action subgenre—a game where the flow of battle influences gameplay more than ever, where a bit of strategic thinking is required, and where difficulty progression is truly satisfying (as well as incredibly scalable). Of course, to achieve this, the team had to start from scratch in many aspects, losing some important elements along the way, first and foremost the variety provided by the character roster. Even with its flaws, however, Origins remains a valuable and crucial action game, as it could serve as a solid foundation for all future titles in the genre. It was about time.
