Battlefield 1943 is a welcome back to the saga's roots. A fast, fun and effective online game, well above the average product you can buy over Xbox Live or PlayStation Network. Hours of gameplay await the ones willing to spend the 15€ needed to buy this game.

Reality is very expensive in this real warfare simulator from Bohemia Interactive. The game is very tough and difficult to manage but the campaign is very well devised, full of twists and turns, but its impossible not to mention the huge amounts of glitches and bugs here and there.

Not as good has the first two masterpieces, the game created by Telltale is definitely challenging and funny, very respectful of the legacy of Guybrush and his friends. The new 3D visuals are good and punchlines, jokes and puzzles are well devised and let you enter smoothly in the world of LeChuck.

Asphalt 4: Elite Racing is a nice and competent arcade racing game that fails to impress due to the technical limitations of the DS and to some minor but annoying gameplay problems.

Trine is the game you didn't expect. Funny, fast and simple to play. It has several problems, in particular with the controls, but it's something original that we suggest to all players. More than anything else, it is the perfect game to play this summer with some friends.

Street Fighter IV is the beat'em'up we've been anticipating for ages. It's the perfect synthesis of innovation and classicism, of deep mechanics and easy play. Fun and challenging, the game has stunning visuals, but to enjoy this masterpiece an arcade stick is absolutely recommended.

Harry Potter and the Half Blooded Prince is what you might expect from an average tie-in, if not a little bit less: it's aimed only at harcore fans, and yet it could disappoint because of the shallowness of the plot and the poor cutscenes.

The McCall brothers are back in action in this Call of Juarez prequel. The game is an absolutely good looking representation of the American Civil War period and gameplay is pretty solid and fresh. Tons of weapons and good multiplayer action bring you into the wild wild west!

Simple, but deep, BlazBlue will appeal both to hardcore and casual gamers. Tons of options, a good storyline and online mode male up for a really good game.

Players of the board game will be pleased to see how close the videogame is to the original, with its well made multiplayer. All the others have to face the not so good visual quality and the broken AI.

Ok It's for free and that's good, but the balance issues, the small number of maps and some not well designed features make it a missed opportunity.

As a boxing simulation, Fight Night Round 4 is almost perfect by any standard, starting from its graphical presentation to its deep gameplay. As a videogame in itself, it's clearly designed to appeal to this sport fans and may be boring to those looking for a sport themed beat'em up.

The Conduit is a solid FPS with a great control system and an excellent online multiplayer for up to twelve players and Wii Speak support. It's not the "next-gen graphics" we were waiting for, and the level design is bland, but it still worth the buy if you like this kind of games.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is a good tie-in, with lots of missions and a nice online multiplayer. The gameplay is repetitive, however, and the stages could have been larger. A nice title for all the Transformers fans out there, definitely.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen for Nintendo Wii is a honest tie-in. The game features decent graphics and a good variety of situations but suffers from poor scenarios and ugly fights.

Dawn of Discovery is how every Wii strategy game should be: simple yet with a good amount of depth, this is definitely the best entry in the genre for Nintendo's console.

14000 square kilometers are not enough to make a good game. Fuel tries to overlap its competitors by taking a sand box approach to the genre, but it fails by offering races that are neither challenging nor thrilling set in enormous and boring open spaces.

Overlord 2 is a giant leap from the first episode thanks to the huge work made by Triumph to fix all the flaws. Various and well devised, Overlord 2 is a guilty pleasure for all the guys who like to be over cynical in a game, and it's impossible not to mention its stunning visuals.

Overlord could have been a good game: it has classical but great puzzles and a well developed level design. Sadly, the bad controls (touch screen only) ruin everything: they are far too rough.

One could say RE: Archives it's an easy way to make money on Wii with a 7-year-old game. It may be so, but Capcom's title also represents a great chance for those who never played the first episode in the series.

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is a huge game, with hundreds of weapons, armors, items and monsters to hunt. It delivers some of the best graphics ever seen on a PSP (the textures in particular), and the multiplayer mode is a blast. Definitely the best Monster Hunter so far.

The game is very well devised with a deep and challenging management core. It also has beautiful visuals, but to enjoy them you have to play the game with a powerful high end PC. Unfortunately not all the features are well implemented, the battles are a little bit cheesy and pre built villages in the campaigns remove all the progress made in the previous missions.

Anno is a very good handheld version of a game that still finds its real sense on PCs: the developing team substantially succeeded finding a good balance between complexity and usability, although with some minor complaints, and the title results one of the best in the genre on the DS.

Even on the Wii, Ghostbusters is a solid action game: in particular, the developers did a good job creating visuals and controls specifically suited for Nintendo's hardware. Aside from a disappointing multiplayer mode, this is a game every Ghostbusters fan will enjoy.

Ghostbusters: The Videogame is not one of those crappy tie-ins which try to sell a franchise without respecting its own identity. It is instead a true sequel to the original movies, flawed so weakly that the gameplay is unaffected. Ghostbusters are back and not just fans will love this awesome action-game.
