An old school FPS with some solid game mechanics, but too short to be suggested to every shooter lovers.

While on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 the 2K Sports series became over the years a landmark for tennis fans, the Wii version embarked on an opposite course. On the Nintendo console, Top Spin 4 comes with some disappointing "gestural" controls, ugly graphics, a small number of modes and no online multiplayer.

Son of Nor lacks in many aspects but it's genuinely funny, sometimes smart and good for co-op.

In many ways, Marvel Super Hero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet turns out to be a rather nice game. It's got a great number of super heroes, a decent combat system and some very nice graphics and voices. What a pity the enemies respawn constantly and the whole experience becomes boring and repetitive very soon.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky does not add anything relevant to the series and it is not an evolution at all compared to Explorers of Darkness and Explorers of Time. This installment is clearly designed to squeeze moneys out of the franchise, aiming to kids who will eventually love to enter the world of pokémons once again.

If you want to make an arena FPS, you can't do anything wrong. That's the lesson IllFonic learned after the release of Nexuiz on Steam. The game suffered from some huge problems in terms of matchmaking, lag and crashes since day one, and now it's very hard to even find a match.

To be clear: the vote is on the work done with the Enhanced Edition, not on Blade Runner itself, which remains an excellent adventure, full of interesting ideas.

Death Note Killer Within is a social deduction game that tries to bring the compelling confrontation between Kira and L in competitive matches that certainly have multiple facets and undoubted strategic potential. Unfortunately, on a technical and artistic level the game is pretty ugly and has so many critical issues even in terms of interface that you'll really have to be a fan of the genre to appreciate it.

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z is a somewhat interesting brawler which fails with some of its neatest ideas and delivers a moderate amount of fun until it becomes too much frustrating.

Simple, fun and entertaining, Everybody 1-2-Switch! is a party game that lives up to its own hype. It's really just that, end of the period.

The idea of blending management and turn based strategy is good and Kalypso did well on graphics and sound. Unfortunately the overall experience is compromised by lack of depth and challenge.

A Valley Without Wind is made for digital explorers with huge worlds full of secrets. But if you choose a peculiar graphic style you have to work on details and Arcen Games forgot that rule.

It's fun, but faulted. Kinect does its job, but there are a few drawbacks that you must come to terms with to be able to appreciate this crazy adventure. Given kinect games' price, it's well worth a go if you have had enough of animals, sports and cute things.

The Witch and the Hundred Knight is a good take on the action RPG genre but the narrative goes too far just for the sake of shocking players and ends up being too invasive, strangling down a gameplay with too many features to take care of.

The first new entry in the Legacy of Kain franchise in over twenty years is, unfortunately, a total flop. If it didn't carry the weight of such a legendary name, it might be considered a simple and somewhat enjoyable 2D action-platformer, despite its short runtime. The real problem is that it chooses to interfere exactly where it shouldn't: the story. The changes to the original lore, combined with the introduction of a poorly written character like Elaleth—who is, for all intents and purposes, the game's true protagonist—and several questionable narrative choices, will be hard for long-time fans to swallow. Even on the gameplay front, despite a few good ideas, the title feels extremely basic and lacks variety in both its platforming and combat sections. Furthermore, the 3D sequences feel superfluous and barely relevant to the overall experience. The final impression is that of a low-budget product that, at best, could have worked as a fan-made project. Seeing it as an official release published by Crystal Dynamics makes the end result all the more disappointing.

In this Wii version, X-Men - Origins: Wolverine comes with poor graphics and ugly sound (the voices, in particular). It's annoying to play, very repetitive and boring. Since the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are way better than this, on all fronts, it's a shame that Wii owners can't play a decent Wolverine game this time around.
