Sega Rally Online Arcade brings some much needed arcade racing action to the XBLA and at a decent price. The content may be skimpy, but what you get is quality action that plays great online and offline.- MS Xbox World

As a whole Two Worlds II is a definite step up from Two Worlds in almost every regard, and it especially shines through with its in-depth and thought out quest lines. Two Worlds II isn't however a match to the bigger western RPGs out there, e.g. The Elder Scrolls series. This is let down by the overly convoluting interface and control system that makes the gameplay feel like a generation behind.- MS Xbox World

The first Templar just reeks of average, and perhaps the budget afforded to Haemimont only allowed for that. Whilst the story is largely forgettable, you'll be mildly entertained with the quirky action that rides throughout. The odd puzzles are welcome, and the mixture of styles help make for a more rounded experience.- MS Xbox World

When one considers that there are full $15 games and even some free demos available on the Xbox Live Marketplace that provide more content, replay value, structure and enjoyment than Alive does for $40, this is enough to give any gamer pause.- MS Xbox World

Brink really is a mixed bag. Stick with it, accept it for its faults, love it for its ingenuity, and there's a lot of enjoyment to be had here. Perhaps that's asking too much of today's gamer though, and inevitably, many will be put off by its short campaign, somewhat generic gameplay, laggy online experience and ultimately, the failure to deliver on its own hype.- MS Xbox World

The Fancy Pants Adventures will not knock the ball out of the park in any department, but it still is a very competent side scrolling adventure game. Gamers that love a Mario style adventure game will no doubt enjoy their trip into Mr Fancy Pants world. Overall, the gameplay is repetitive but ultimately fun in very small doses, and with plenty of content included, means you do get your monies worth. If you're a fan, then this is an essential purchase despite desirable features which appeared in other games being absent; such as create a character, tactical 'Risk' like options upgradable body guards and such like. Sadly this means you're left with a bare bones yet interesting game rather than the all encompassing ride a game with a "seven" in the title should be.- MS Xbox World

Kinect Sports Calorie Challenge is not a serious bit of fitness programming for everyone's favourite Kinect enabled game. It's loose, bare bones and lacking in features. It would have been nice if calories were tracked outside of the mini games and in standard modes as well, and even better if players were allowed to choose which events they'd like to play rather than have them chosen for you by the AI. If you're after a serious fitness game for Kinect, then it's recommended you look elsewhere, if its a bit of fun you're after with the aim of tracking calorie loss, then this is worth checking out.- MS Xbox World

Essentially a mini-game compilation at heart, comparisons to Kinectimals are unjust, and Fantastic Pets is a fun and entertaining experience for the younger generation. Those expecting anything more will be disappointed, but taken for what it is, a cute, light-hearted and easy to play venture, it certainly achieves what it set out to. The kids will love it, and the parents will welcome the distraction! It won't last forever, kids tend to get bored easily, but while it does they'll certainly enjoy grooming their created pets and interacting with them in magical ways. While a little unoriginal and nothing mind blowing, its got more than enough charm to provide hours of childlike fun for any younger gamer out there.- MS Xbox World

Yars' Revenge is a fairly competent shooter and gives new life to a gaming classic. It has a decent story, and looks great on a huge display, but the voice acting and sound really detract from the overall appeal of the product, which in turn sucks the life out of all the action on screen. With a short story, and no real multiplayer, Yars' Revenge is a hard-pressed sell to any but the most die-hard of shooter fans.- MS Xbox World

Islands of Wakfu's plot is interesting, though abstract, and the art and music are fantastic but the gameplay really holds it back. It's not an experience that really lasts either. Fans of similar games are encouraged to give it a try, but there are better ways of spending your money on XBLA. It's not bad, but it just isn't as good as it should be.- MS Xbox World

For an updated version of a game that came out in 2009, Big Air Edition just doesn't do enough to justify a purchase for those who bought the original Stoked. However, to those who are thinking about buying this game, I would wait as even at the average price of £25 it still feels overpriced for what you get. Let's get this straight, this is not an exercise game in the normal sense, in that you won't be shedding any pounds whilst playing - it's simply not that kind of deal. However, you will be treated to some puzzles which test various parts of the brain, and in this regard you can assume that it's being exercised - probably a lot more than lounging out in front of the TV watching drivel.- MS Xbox World

Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom offers up a solid 15 hours of play, with potentially several more hours if you're one for exploration. While the game's combat and A.I. controlled Majin feature-set is the more unique aspect of the game, it's the exploration and puzzle solving that takes precedence, and if you prefer combat over puzzles/exploration then Majin may certainly wear thin sooner than anticipated.- MS Xbox World
