    Although NeoGeo Battle Coliseum has plenty of characters, tag team attacks and a fair amount of potential for strategy against another player, its poor visuals, lack of polish and general stiffness make it a much less appetizing entry in the fighting game genre.

    If you're new or never heard of Neo Geo before, and are still in love with the many other fighting games on offer at the moment, then perhaps you won't be missing anything here. For fans of Neo Geo games, this is a whet dream come true and well worth it.

    If you are good at fighting games then NeoGeo Battle Coliseum is right up your street at a reasonable price of 800 Microsoft Points, but for the beginner I wouldn't advise picking this one up unless you are prepared for the steep learning curve.

    This crossover fighting title is SNK's answer to Marvel Vs. Capcom. It's fast, fluid and fun, but does lack modes including a tutorial.
