Forspoken is an urban-come-high-fantasy open-world, action-adventure game played in the third person. Combining magic and parkour, you take on the role of Frey as she learns to understand her new abilities in a strange world that needs saving from disaster.

From the fantastic visuals to the brain-teasing gameplay that tests your musical knowledge, this game is a delightful experience from start to finish. Although the Switch version of the game has some performance issues, the game is still a delight to play there. Even if the game is a little short, the story will keep you hooked from start to finish.

Grim Guardians: Demon Purge is a fantastic solo or cooperative 2D platformer. With old-school aesthetics and simple-to-understand elements, this is easy to play. Furthermore, you can be tested if you increase the difficulty. However, the controls and empty levels lead to some criticism. Despite these shortcomings, this is still an excellent title that I enjoyed.

Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr Ultimate Edition doesn't fulfil its potential. With clunky controls, frustrating gameplay, and a lack of depth, it should have been much better. Sadly, I'm not sure that even the Warhammer fanboys/girls will forgive this mess of a title.

Overall, I would say my time spent with Colossal Cave was well spent. It was a fun way to experience an older title brought up to modern times. Unfortunately, the charm is lost on those who don’t have any experience with this style of game and may be extremely off putting for those who like a little more guidance without having to be penalized for using the hint system. This is a wonderful nostalgia trip for many but unfortunately, Nostalgia isn’t enough for everyone.

Nongunz: Doppelganger Edition is a confusing and hardcore run-and-gun platforming experience. Furthermore, its roguelike elements and lack of explanation make things tougher still. However, if you can overcome the mystery of the action, you'll enjoy a rewarding, yet harsh time.

Voltaire: The Vegan Vampire is an excellent casual title. Its combination of genres was interesting. However, it lacks depth, and this makes it a jack of all trades. Unfortunately, this impacts its longevity. Furthermore, the developers must add more content to ensure it reaches its potential.

Gigantosaurus: Dino Kart is a fun family-friendly title. Pick from an array of familiar characters as you race around Cretacia to be crowned champion. Thankfully, the mechanics are easy to understand and the controls are fantastic for younger gamers. Consequently, this is perfect for younger gamers.

One True Hero is a 3D platform adventure title that is lacklustre. Sadly, too many bugs and dated mechanics ruin this title. However, its narration is excellent and the story could be witty if it wasn't for the shortcomings. Furthermore, it is a game that has borrowed many of its core principles from leading games and failed miserably.

Kandria is a grim and melancholy platforming experience that'll fascinate you from the off. With interesting characters, a sombre plot, and excellent aesthetics, it is worthy of your time. Its only downfall is its lack of a skill tree, its lacklustre combat, and its minimal upgrade elements.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is a wonderful family focused experience. With colourful Disney and Pixar characters, and safe and fun gameplay, you can laugh, smile, and relax as you save Dreamlight Valley. Mostly, this is an excellent title. However, the resource gathering is a grind and there are some bugs. Yet, these are minor when you consider the overall presentation and the incredible gameplay. [Early Access Provisional Score = 80]

Go! Go! Pogogirl is a 90s-inspired platforming title. As such, it has a vivid colour palette, interesting stage designs, and shrill audio. Furthermore, the control system is faithful to the era, and the action is enjoyable and challenging. Sadly, though, there is no story and this makes it hard to empathise with the protagonist.

Pocket Witch is a tricky little precision platformer that'll make you scream. With an excellent old-school aesthetic and basic gameplay mechanics, this straightforward platformer lulls you into a false sense of security. Furthermore, the sloppy controls unnecessarily add to the frustration. However, once you master this issue, you'll enjoy a rewarding but tough experience.

The Redress of Mira is a surreal and strange walking simulation title. Furthermore, it has an amazing soundtrack and the first-person perspective is great. However, woeful acting, poor controls, lacklustre combat, and inexcusable use of third-person perspective undermine its potential. Disappointingly, it is a rare miss from Bodur.

Fashion Police Squad is a hilarious but cutting retro FPS. With zany characters and a hilarious script, this is a must-play title. Furthermore, the stage design is great, the characters are colourful, and it is wonderfully camp. However, the lack of unique sprites holds it back.

With decent core gameplay, but a discardable anime story and minimal depth, Adventure Academia: The Fractured Continent is a game for casual strategy game fans who want to enjoy some lightweight mechanics without jumping in at the deep end, which – as a fan of this approach myself – there is certainly a market for, but just don’t expect to be wowed in any given area.
