If you like RTS management then this game does very little wrong but if story is something you want, I can not recommend RailGrade. Well, unless corporate hoo-ha is something that entertains you then this has a lot of that.

Bootleg Steamer is a fun-filled rogue-lite title that will test your skills and tactical nuance. With plenty of captains to select and a hearty array of vessels to sail, there are plenty of ways to skin a cat. Moreover, the incredible stage design and challenging obstacles will push your buttons. Consequently, it is an excellent indie title that will keep you coming back for more.

Imagine Earth really hits home with its thought-provoking narrative and overarching themes that really are close to reality. With gorgeous visuals and game design, great sound and a serene and calming soundtrack, Imagine Earth is an impressive game when everything is going for it. Crashes and a chaotic UI can hinder that experience but overall it’s one I really would recommend checking out. To infinity and beyond!

Chimp Quest Spirit Isle offers a decent diversion for fans of puzzle-solving and time management games. Its time-based challenges and interactive mechanics provide moments of enjoyment, but ultimately, its lack of depth and variety prevent it from reaching its full potential. While it may satisfy casual players looking for a quick distraction, it fails to leave a lasting impression. With some refinements and additional content, it could evolve into a more compelling experience. As it stands, however, it’s a game that’s best approached with tempered expectations.

The Fall of the Elena Temple is a wonderful old-school title that combines platforming and puzzle elements. Furthermore, the fixed-screen perspective allows the developer to incorporate basic mechanics and clever stage design. Sadly, the basic gameplay and lack of story prevent it from truly excelling.

This title has a lot of potential–it is relaxing, offers creative puzzles and solutions, and the characters are vivacious. However, there were many sluggish and frustrating moments. Overall, it is an adequate, cozy puzzle game, just do not expect too much.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is an addictive and emotional JRPG. Everything about this game is exceptional. However, the JRPG elements may frustrate you. Furthermore, the combat can feel repetitive. Yet, if you can overlook these minor points, you will adore every moment.

The story is very simple and without twist, it does not make you curious about it and it is short. The gameplay is very repetitive and you only solve repetitive puzzles and sometimes you encounter sister Madeline. The map design is great and its shortcuts will surprise you. Visually, it is good and has stable resolution and performance. The sound design is not good and you can’t tell where Sister Madeline is walking by the sound of her footsteps.

Hero's Hour remains a lovely little strategy game; a bitesized Heroes 3. There is a definite clunkiness with the Switch port, however, so the PC version still reigns supreme.

Free Stars: The Ur-Quan Masters is a faithful port of an impressive game for it's time, though it's not the smoothest experience for people playing it for the first time now. If you would like a vast world to explore, with some good writing present, then maybe give it a go to see if you can stand the gameplay.

You can look at Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs The Thrilling Steamy Maze Kiwami in two ways. The game is either a bad dungeon crawler or a horny anime game. It’s a game that offers little in story or gameplay, and it just feels like fan service for fans of the show. Unless you are a fan of the show and want more Yuuna content, or you want a video game with a lewder tone, this is not a game worth checking out.

The Invincible is a sci-fi experience that shifts tried and tested perspectives. However, sadly, it didn't resonate and I struggled to enjoy every moment. However, if you like an unusual game that tries something new, then this could be right up your street.

Loretta is a grim and grisly point-and-click title. Furthermore, the lore-rich story and interesting characters will keep you coming back for more. Sadly, though, it is a little dark and depressing for my liking.

Hammerwatch 2 has the feel of old school roleplaying games with its great pixel art and challenging combat. Where it lacks is in its horrible performance on PS4 and the tedious and sometimes difficult-to-find quest items.

As a visual novel, it’s serviceable at best. If you can ignore the poor translation, there’s a good story in there somewhere. I enjoyed the endings. Going through the whole game again wasn’t too much of a pain and there’s a relatively satisfying, not too depressing, conclusion. Unfortunately, The Hungry Lamb just makes too many slip-ups on the way. If you’re looking for a polished and thought-provoking piece, this lamb may just be a bit too overcooked.

This game may be too unforgiving for a puzzle game, and too lackluster for a platformer. Otherwise, It’s a Wrap is full of charm and great ideas, providing a window for inspiration for games in the future.

In conclusion, Sucker for love: date to die for offers a captivating blend of romance, horror, and nostalgic anime-inspired visuals, providing players with an unforgettable gaming experience. With its immersive storytelling, tense gameplay mechanics, and stunning hand-drawn art style, this game is sure to leave players breathless as they embark on a journey through love’s haunting embrace. Clocking in at a duration of approximately 4 to 5 hours to uncover the true ending, players will find themselves thoroughly engaged in this gripping adventure dating sim. Brace yourself for an adventure like no other, and discover if love truly conquers all in this hauntingly beautiful tale.

Unicorn Overlord is a cleverly designed Tactics RPG whose strategic systems will hook its player early on. The openness of the map warrants a quest that is full of objectives that are all self-fulfilling and purposeful to complete. It does a fantastic job at teaching its tactics mechanics and excels at allowing its players to find their way to strategize against the countless enemy types to encounter. Unicorn Overlord’s captivating gameplay loop will trap its players into wanting to do everything they can to optimize their units. The narrative is not as interesting as its name ensues, but Vanillaware has proved that the name should be remembered as one of the strongest Tactics RPG to stand on its own. I cannot recommend this game enough to new or veteran tactics RPG players.

Children of the Sun carves out its own niche with a bold and memorable identity. The game takes a “less is more” approach to its mechanics, but the variety of situations you encounter with those mechanics keeps things fresh and engaging. It’s just a pity that the experience is over too soon, leaving you wanting more from this stylish blend of paranormal mystery, occult horror, and creeping paranoia. I still had a lot of fun with it and something tells me we will hear about Children of the Sun again in the future.

If you were wondering I do not recommend this game, it’s dull, repetitive and lacks any excitement, if you’re here for the women! Go right ahead and get it, but if you want an actual good game look elsewhere as this game provided me more lows than highs. I give it a 3/10 the artstyle and performance make it at least a game that works but the lack of actual greatness outside of it makes it a game that disappoints.

I hate to use this term but Enclave HD really feels like a cheap attempt at remastering a cult classic. The story still holds up well and a fantastic updated soundtrack helps fans of the original game find reason to revisit. With dated combat, awful enemy design and AI and visuals that really have been left in the past, Enclave HD is a another lack lustre attempt to remaster in today’s era of video games. Better to have been laid to rest in the past.

Outcast: A New Beginning feels less like a new beginning and more like a generic open-world game that offers little to the player. At some points, it felt like I was playing a knockoff Avatar game. The game’s traversal options and beautiful setting are the best parts. Unfortunately, Outcast: A New Beginning is held back by its lack of character depth, generic plot, and horrible AI.

Life Eater might not be perfect, but the eerie tale and immersive gameplay make it stand out. With its clever puzzles and time management system, it grabs your attention right from the start. It shows the creativity of its developers and gives players a memorable experience. Whether you’re intrigued by its horror story or enjoy a challenge, Life Eater is a game worth exploring.

No Son Of Mine is a short horror game that sets the tone extremely well but does not follow through on its gameplay. The mechanics are either inconsistent or not fully explored, and the monster is more annoying than scary. The narrative plays second fiddle and is not interesting at all. It is disappointing because there are some good and horrifying moments in the game, but the gameplay holds this back from being a truly great experience.

If you’re a fan of Factorio and looking for a new challenge that emphasizes factory building and automation in a space setting, Final Factory delivers a solid and enjoyable experience. I would definitely recommend picking the game up as it is still extremely easy to lose yourself for hours upon hours as you make a mess of your space station and start again and learning new things every time.

Overall this game is a great opportunity to pick up and play whenever, it may be quite difficult but it’s generally quite a short game. The art style alone is fascinating enough to recommend this game alone. The storytelling is very ambitious but overall wasn’t very engaging and I would have liked to hear more of that beautiful soundtrack. Altogether, I’m still very excited to see what Orangutan Matter makes next.

Amnesia: The Bunker is a fantastic horror experience. Moreover, it is reminiscent of Alien Isolation. Yet, a simple antagonist AI undermines the tension. Thankfully, the darkness and The Stalker keep you on your toes.
