Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen is another fantastic release from Square Enix that works just as well as a mobile RPG as it does as a DS release.- Modojo

Three things make Off The Leash so enjoyable. The first involves running as far as possible to beat your overall distance traveled. The second, collecting coins, lets you spend this loot at the in-game shop. Finally, the game is full of secondary objectives to complete, from picking up 20 dogs to reaching 500 meters.- Modojo

Those aforementioned problems melt away the second you slaughter several Necromorphs and travel deeper into the brand new story that bridges the gap between the original game and the recently released sequel. We didn't jump out of our chairs, but the wow factor is more than enough to make it worth a look.- Modojo

Ending's simplistic visuals and punishing puzzle strategy will almost certainly condemn it to App Store chart mediocrity - a real pity, because we don't think any puzzle fun will want to miss out on the maddening, yet fascinating challenge to be found here. Buck the trend this week and leave all those brasher, more colorful, yet all so often generic puzzlers to have a different day in the sun.- Modojo

Godus is a fun simulation game. For a free download, it gives you a lot of value and is a very deep experience. Its slow pace and premium add-ons might turn some people off, but it is still a very solid title.- Modojo

Even though most of the presentation and general gameplay hasn't changed much from previous Pokemon adventures, both HeartGold and SoulSilver have an adequate amount of content, online and off, to keep you exploring until the next sequel arrives.- Modojo

Ghostbusters is a surprisingly entertaining romp through our childhood, and a great way to pass the time. More so than ever, busting makes us feel good.- Modojo

Diehards might scoff at the games simplicity and low difficulty throughout the adventure setting, but in that case, they're missing the point. Slimes are just really happy guys, and their entire world is built around keeping you smiling, just like them. This game comes in just shy of perfect, and if the tank battles would have held their pace, Dragon Quest Heroes could have easily been the single DS game to buy this fall.- Modojo

The entire console game's 50 plus track list has been carried over to the PSP version and it's quite a varied mix of styles.- Modojo

Pictorial HD is not a complex game, it's not a challenging game, and in many ways it's a rather repetitive one. But it's wonderful nevertheless, and it's also impossible to play without having a great big silly grin on your face. If there's a better reason to pick up a game than that, I really can't imagine what it is.- Modojo

For a dollar, it's hard to go wrong with this new themed take on Ski Safari. If you've played the original to death, and you're not a big fan of the cartoon series, there's not a lot to tempt you back into paying again, but for everyone else this is a welcome fresh take on a much-loved mobile classic.- Modojo

Gameloft didn't beat Zelda, not even close, but Sacred Odyssey has the necessary ingredients for a hit, including tons of action, a plethora of missions and some likeable characters, even if they sound like dopes.- Modojo

Not only is it packed with just enough content to warrant a look, but for beginners it's a great starting point...well...as great a starting point as any of the Pokemon games.- Modojo

80 Days is a colorful and stylized look at a classic tome that places a new twist on an otherwise familiar game type. It's well worth your time, especially if you're looking for something a little more "out of the box" when it comes to mobile gaming.- Modojo

A fun running game that'll keep you entertained through life's more boring moments. We would have released it free-of-charge, but for $0.99, it still represents a fine value.- Modojo

Loco Roco is an amazing game, quite possibly the most charming game I've ever played. It's the kind of game that will automatically make you happy while you play it. As a handheld title its ideal. Its only real drawback is that for many of us it might be over a little too soon.- Modojo

Micromon is one of the slickest and best examples of what you can do with this kind of premise, and much closer to the idealized Pokemon games we've all clamored for over the heads.- Modojo

EA and Criterion were wise to include the well-received Autolog from games past, giving players the opportunity to keep track of other people's scores and challenge them outright to ascend the leaderboard. It worked remarkably well in the Need for Speed series, and it's a welcome addition here as well.- Modojo

Pokemon Platinum is probably the most elaborate entry of the series, thanks to its involving storyline with the Distortion World, its Wi-Fi-supported features and its addictive gameplay. Sure, it feels familiar, but thanks to its new additions, Nintendo earns the game's Platinum status.- Modojo

The fact that it's far from a perfect game and not much of a step forward doesn't make it any less of a must-buy. The core single-player adventure is guaranteed to occupy you for more than thirty hours, and the promise of extensive global trading and (surprisingly deep) Wi-Fi battling awaits those who complete the main storyline. Get this game.- Modojo

Although it's too familiar for its own good, Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy is a fine conclusion for the series, at least for the time being. With a fresh story, solid presentation and plenty of puzzles and challenges, this is one mystery that doesn't wear out its welcome.- Modojo
