OK, so War Pinball looks and sounds outstanding, but how does it play? Perfect. In-game missions, smooth play and tight controls put it in a whole other league. The fact that it runs without a hitch with the ball zipping all over the place is impressive, no question.- Modojo

A combination of great things. In the casual sense, it's a 1980s puzzle party. For hardcore gamers, it's a cross between Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo and Lumines. Providing this news didn't cause a massive brain explosion, we strongly suggest downloading this app right away.- Modojo

Namco Bandai took everything we love about Doodle Jump and improved the experience with some old school flavor. The result is an App that represents the best thing to happen to Pac-Man since Championship Edition on Xbox 360.- Modojo

Tetris: Axis is one of the sweetest 3DS games you'll find. It lacks the fun Nintendo themed stages that made Tetris DS unforgettable, but there's so much content, we doubt players will mind; and seriously, you should already own a copy of Tetris DS anyway.- Modojo

The game itself is timeless. It's not so old that people are turned off by the primitive graphics and it has an engaging enough battle system that those new to turn based RPGs won't get bored. Is it more imaginative than Super Mario Galaxy? No. Will it revolutionize gaming like Super Mario 64. Hardly. Do either of these questions matter? Infinity Blade is beautiful, gripping and intense. Throw in online and local multiplayer, and Asphalt 6: Adrenaline is one of the best racers you can buy. We would have preferred more cars, but this is pound for pound one of the coolest games on the App Store. On that note, do yourself a favor and splurge on the $6.99 iPad edition.- Modojo

We're also huge fans of the gyroscopic controls, allowing you to aim Link's slingshot by physically tilting the system, or going into a first person view to get a better look at the beautiful world. Great stuff.- Modojo

Mobile game sequels are hit or miss, as some developers just slap a new skin on an older game. Halfbrick did that with one of the game's modes, but the Bandito mode as well as the humor in the Puss in Boots character makes this version unique. If you played the original, the new mode is worth the purchase, and if you never experienced Fruit Ninja, Puss in Boots is the perfect way to get started.- Modojo

So yes, Trucks and Skulls is a direct Angry Birds clone, but it's a great one. Not only is it immensely enjoyable, but it also has a cool presentation, with post apocalyptic backgrounds, mean looking trucks and plenty of explosions. Gameloft's exquisite sports title plays similar to Sony's Hot Shots Golf series, but the developers upped the ante with a wide assortment of power-ups, courses, user-friendly touch controls and seamless online play. The deceptive simpleness of gameplay lends itself to complex and difficult tracks that make a player feel accomplished. Unlike a majority of iOS games, stabbing your finger at the screen won't win this one. It will take practice and skill and that's a good thing.- Modojo

The characters are gross. The actual game play, on the other hand, is golden. You only receive so much ammunition per character, and once it runs out, you must restart that stage from the beginning. What ensues is slow paced fun, as you strategize the best ways to annihilate the Blots.- Modojo

All things considered, Amateur Surgeon 3 is a very worthy addition to the series, and will delight fans of the earlier games. If you're new to this maverick surgical action, you may find the humor just a little too dark, and the action a little on the squeamish side, but if you like your gaming to have an off-beat flavor then you owe it to yourself to get stuck into this frantically meaty gameplay.- Modojo
