Sniper Elite 5 is the best one yet. It still has some technical issues, like the messy AI and it can be hard sometimes, but it’s still a lot of fun and probably enough to make both hardcore fans and newcomers happy. It’s a blast.

Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake is such a blast! With great gameplay and a lot of nods to the Nickelodeon show, it brings a colorful vibe and joy to the whole family. Both hardcore gamers and casual ones will enjoy it.

The Quarry feels and plays a lot like Until Dawn, but it's not as scary as its "older (and more famous) brother". Well, it's not scary at all. But it's still a pretty fun game, that will probably make you want to play the whole story a couple of times to see the different scenes and endings.

Despite some minor flaws in design and execution, Beat the Beats VR stands out as an excellent option for those seeking alternatives to Beat Saber and Synth Riders. The boxing mechanics are well-implemented and function satisfactorily, offering a rewarding experience akin to a virtual workout.

Madden NFL 26 is the most solid entry in the franchise in years, delivering a TV-style presentation, more authentic gameplay, and a Franchise Mode that finally feels meaningful. The new QB DNA system and season-long player wear and tear add realism, while blocking and defense mechanics show clear improvements. However, old issues remain: sluggish menus, persistent bugs, inconsistent AI, and aggressive monetization in Ultimate Team. Lack of localization and unstable servers continue to hurt the experience, especially for Brazilian players.

MLB The Show 22 has some visual updates, great gameplay and many different ways to play - and it is easier than ever for people who are not that used to it. But, sometimes, it feels the same as last year, and the year before that, and before that… It is a good game for baseball fans, but hopefully for the next season there are more meaningful changes.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is one of the best games ever by Gearbox. It is a lot of fun, with a great duration and gameplay that invites you to spend countless hours playing. If you have some friends that play it too, it is a blast.

You will fall in love with Ghostwire Tokyo's visuals. The way Tango Gameworks designed the city of Tokyo and the ghosts that wander around it is amazing. And gameplay is pretty fun too. But, if you compare it to some of the main releases of the year, it is not enough. Maybe because the developers did not have time to create something really unique. This is a good game, but it could/should have been a great one.

Team Ninja delivered on Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin. Maybe the visuals are not that good, but gameplay is good enough to keep the players hooked up to the game. You can truly feel the differences between the classes and the character progression. The multiplayer is also pretty fun.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 brings back two skateboarding classics with tight gameplay and solid performance on PS5. While unifying both games under one structure compromises THPS4’s original style, the experience remains fun and content-rich. The limited soundtrack is a letdown, but the spirit of virtual skateboarding is still alive.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora stands as one of the most highly anticipated games, and Ubisoft successfully delivers a satisfying experience with the Na’vi. While it does share some common issues seen in many open-world games, the title distinguishes itself through innovative vertical movement gameplay, stunning visuals, and an original Avatar storyline. It serves as an excellent fan service for enthusiasts of this beloved franchise.

Horizon Call of the Mountain is both a climbing simulator and a great demo of what the PlayStation VR2 can do. It will definitely make you sweat a lot, but it's worth it in the end. Seeing Aloy and the Horizon universe in VR is an amazing experience. We just wish there were more boss fights, because they're awesome.

Days Gone Remastered delivers the most technically polished version of the game, with significant improvements to lighting, frame rate stability, reflections, and DualSense support. Nights are now genuinely oppressive, and new modes offer modest replay value. However, character models remain untouched, the performance mode on standard PS5 shows reduced clarity compared to the PS4 backward-compatible version, and visual bugs persist. This remaster doesn’t reinvent the experience but is a solid update for fans — though it feels more like a symbolic gesture from Sony than a renewed commitment to the franchise.

SAND LAND is an RPG that pays homage to the legendary Akira Toriyama. Featuring stunning graphics, previously unexplored narratives within the franchise, and robust combat mechanics, the game stands as a commendable option for fans, notwithstanding a few minor missteps.

Dying Light: The Beast brings back the series' roots with a brutal, more focused adventure led by Kyle Crane. Parkour remains sharp, melee combat is weighty and satisfying, and the open world offers tense moments, especially at night. While the progression system feels recycled and some fights get repetitive, the experience is technically solid. A strong return for fans, though its price may be a barrier.

Borderlands 4 modernizes its formula with seamless zones, tight gunplay, and great co-op features. Sidequests and characters shine, but technical issues, UI annoyances, and a forgettable main villain hold it back. It’s fun, loud, and promising—just not the full evolution yet.

More than just a shoot-'em-up game, CYGNI: All Guns Blazing brings modernity to the genre in a challenging way. The visual effects and combat design, especially the boss battles, have a unique charm, and despite the superficiality of some elements, the experience offers fun based on speed and explosions.

Master Lemon: The Quest for Iceland delivers an emotional and creative adventure driven by a heartfelt story about purpose, language, and grief. Its charming pixel art, engaging soundtrack, and surprisingly strong voice acting create a memorable atmosphere from start to finish. The downside lies in its very simple gameplay loop, focused mainly on walking, collecting words, and completing basic interactions, leaving a sense that deeper puzzles or mechanics could have enriched the experience. Even so, it remains a touching, humorous, and unique journey that stands out more for its heart than for the complexity of its systems.

Just Dance 2026 stays true to the series’ strengths: quick fun, a lively pop playlist, and improved motion-tracking that finally removes the need to hold your phone. The base tracklist is strong and varied, making it great for parties. Its weaknesses are familiar: little innovation, choreography aimed mostly at casual players, and the continued reliance on a subscription for more songs. Even so, it remains a joyful, accessible party game that delivers exactly the kind of easygoing fun fans expect.

The Precinct is a great sandbox with good ideas, a solid world structure, and a light but functional simulation of a police officer's life. Its campaign can feel repetitive after a while, but nothing that saving the city in varied ways can't fix. However, don't expect a GTA.

EA Sports FC 24 kicks off a new era of football games with plenty of content and the best gameplay we’ve seen in years. But laggy menus and microtransactions make it a little less enjoyable than it should be. In the end, though, it’s still a pretty solid football game, and that’s what matters the most.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is a nod to the old school beat ‘em up games that were such a blast on the 90’s. With an entertaining gameplay, especially with the 6-player coop, the game proves that there’s still room for this kind of fun in the PS5 era. The only bad thing about it is that it ends too fast.
