The original Arkham City is a great game, so it would have been pretty hard for this version to ruin that. However, a frame rate all over the place and insignificant additions to the experience makes this a hard to recommend version if you have access to other machines. For Wii U only users, it is a fantastic game.

If you like Call of Duty, Black Ops II is your new game. It doesn't innovate too much, it invents nothing, and it presents war as always but it works. Multiplayer modes are amazing again and zombies cause more problems now. The AI, graphics and minimal improvements spoil a bit the experience, but fans will love its strong multiplayer. Being able to play through the Wii GamePad is an interesting experience.

FIFA 13 is like FIFA 12 thought for Wii U and its GamePad. It hasn't an online mode as complete as others, but instead it introduces evolution in sports videogames. A great idea with some shortcomings.

Mario doesn't want to change what works. The GamePad gets an episode that continues all, also the fun. High Definition to support the color and the design, with many challenges ahead for up to 5 players.

Nintendo Land tries to evolve Wii Sports with a mini games compilation based on well-known franchises and using the Wii U GamePad in a creative way. It's not Mario Party, but it works as party game and a unique experience in the console line-up.

Although it hasn't reviewed the bugs or added important things, Assassin's Creed III is still a great sandbox adventure, with lots to do and a powerful story. One of the best Wii U titles for Christmas.

One of the best conclusions that we've ever seen. This finale season is definitely a triumph of the interactive narrative, proof that with good writers and a solid direction, letting the player make decisions can make a good story better.

We wanted a Castle of Illusion for 3DS, and this game is definitely not that. Drawing on the touch screen is painful and slows the jumps and collecting items. Many of Disney's names are its best attraction.

Battle Royale has good roster, great netcode and online multiplayer with accessible and fun gameplay. But has mechanics that are too simple and some overpowered characters and attacks.

A pure, authentic Survival Horror, which is something to celebrate nowadays. It has some flaws and some uses of the Wii U Gamepad doesn't work well, but the core ideas are solid, there are tons of interesting details and great touches that create a really solid experience.

Exactly the same great game. Only The Argul's Tomb and new possibilities with the GamePad screen make the Wii U version the most complete and recommended, but identical to the others. The best adventure game of 2012.

Better with friends. That must be the motto Warren Spector and his team have used to conceive Epic Mickey 2, a new adventure that takes the original and supplies it with a cooperative mechanic that expand the same basic gameplay with two characters on-screen all the time. Visually an exercise of Nostalgia mixed with Steampunk elements, fully (very well) voiced this time, and with plenty of 2D-3D levels and sidequest missions, Epic Mickey 2 fails with the Oswald's AI and again the camera, and a story that is really longer but sometimes insubstantial in missions and narrative.

Sonic runs at full speed, now in airplanes and boats. Many different circuits and many memories can be found in this second Mario Kart from Sega. Jet Set Radio, Panzer Dragoon, Golden Axe, Samba de Amigo... a great game with a deep sense nostalgia and a nice multiplayer.

FIFA Manager 13 respects faithfully inherited mechanics from previous versions and includes a limited number of new improvements that could be very interesting. The problem is that they may not be enough compared to last year's version as they would if were part of a broader set of additions. However, it can be thought that the new inclusions are the first step towards a very promising development goals, opening the door to further improvements that should come with the next year's edition. If you are not a fan of the series you are allowed to wait.

Mario Kart is a great karting game, Sonic & Sega All-Star also. F1 Race Stars is, however, a insipid game which takes advantage of licenses. 12 drivers and only 11 circuits for a career already well known.

Magic. That is what this Miranda Goshawk's 200 years old Book of Spell brings every time we turn a page of Wonderbook. The level of interaction between Move, the book and what we see on the screen is probably the highest Sony has achieved in the field of Augmented Reality. Maybe it's short, very easy on its level of difficulty and simple in its gameplay, but it's also a very captivating experience.

They said a sequel needs to be bigger, braver and funnier. Well, Chaos on Deponia is all that: It takes everything that works so well in the first game and twisted with hilarious and bizarre -poor bird- sense of humour that multiplies the elysian Goal plus three and an even better visual style. And a more decadent, selfish and irresistible main character Rufus. It's a shame that the location in Spanish its still a doubt

It is unfair to compare A Game of Dwarves with Dwarf Fortress... since it's not even trying to compete against it. This is a simplistic game that won't cause too many headaches, and it's perfect for relaxation. A Game of Dwarves is worth enjoying and its price is a perfect reason to justify the purchase.

Take LittleBigPlanet 2 and put some karts on it. This is what LBP Karting brings to us, the exact same level of freedom when it comes to design & the creation of new levels in the form of speedways or arenas, mixed with the emotion of kart races. It's a shame that some menu decisions and the enemy AI take part of the fun of seeing Sackboy racing its enemies enemies. But rest assured that all missing pieces of fun will be found in the multiplayer.

Vikings attacking Englishmen, women and children who fight back against them throwing everything they can find along the levels, just like their enemies. Straight, simple and fun are the keywords for this When Vikings Attack alongside with Cross-Buy, Cross-Save and Cross-Play, a nice title for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita with a really short 2 hours Campaign Mode, but that really makes the most of it in its multiplayer mode.

When we thought the time of brain trainers was past, Smart As appears to utilize all the possibilities PS Vita is capable of. With 20 mini-games, the problem is that not all are equal funny and really helpful to train our minds. A correct starting point in the genre with elements that should be revised and improved for future sequels, but with others really well implemented, like the social element and Near challenges.
