Wonderfully tense, atmospheric and bizarre Little Nightmares spooked us throughout the whole adventure. Thoroughly recommended, just don't play it on portable mode.- Meristation

Dillon's Dead-Heat Breakers is by far the best entry in the Dillon's franchise, with many new features that try to justify the full retail price. Sadly, despite the various new mechanics introduced, the main issue with the previous entries hasn't been fixed: the gameplay can be too repetitive.- Meristation

Moonlighter offers two types of gameplay in the same game and does it in an excellent way. Beautiful and with many details where a great soundtrack accompanies him. A difficult game with an excellent duration.- Meristation

Despite its horrific initial learning curve, we managed to delve into Conan Exiles to find a super capable survival experience, and we found ourselves investing way more hours than we initially thought we would. With some more polishing and a friendlier entry point for users new to the genre, this Funcom game could become something much much better.- Meristation

The interest within the argument in this second episode, Hide and Seek, descends in comparison to the first one. The weight of the story relies more in the puzzles and riddles than in the really interesting part of the game: the historical and distinguished guests.- Meristation

Dark Souls: Remastered proves the original Dark Souls to be a pretty solid experience even seven years later. This remaster of FromSoftware's 2011 title includes few but necessary enhancements, like 4K support and, at last, solid 60 FPS gameplay.- Meristation

Living the life of an android is what David Cage and Quantic Dream offer us in their new game. Detroit Become Human is an emotional experience from beginning to end, a journey with three humanoid robots in a playable story-oriented narrative experience in the tradition of Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls. Yes, maybe the gameplay is different, it's not the usual fare, but the depth and consequences of our reactions make the gameplay feel organic in every action, reaction and decision we make, not just a 'you chose well/you chose poorly' thing. Visually a spectacle, the best thing in Detroit: Become Human is not what we play, but what we feel.- Meristation

SpaceCan takes a risk trying to make a good rogelike given the latest indie releases level during last year. However, Juicy Realm is good enough to get engaged for a weekend, even though does not provide a huge amount of content.- Meristation

Death Road to Canada is a blast for short runs and a great combination of genres like survival-horror or RPG. As a roguelite, each game is unpredictable, sometimes even too much. It is possible that its extreme randomness doesn't like to every player, but Death Road to Canada is a guaranteed purchase for roguelite fans.- Meristation

State of Decay 2 barely takes advantage of the great potential that its predecessor left back in 2013. What we have found almost five years later is practically the same experience, renewed with minor adjustments and with the presence of the cooperative online features.- Meristation

City of Brass is a fun and beautiful first-person roguelite inspired by One Thousand and One Nights. However, it becomes repetitive too early and does not offer any hook to keep playing after a few hours. Although it is entertaining, it does not give reasons to come back to its cursed city.- Meristation

This version is actually the best in the series, improving what we saw on Wii U and taking the huge amount of content from 3DS. Despite its flaws, Hyrule Warriors continues feeling as a mandatory visit for every Zelda fan; especially with the Switch version resolution when playing on TV.- Meristation

Empires Apart moves in the classic schemes of the RTS, but the novelties it presents are scarce 25 years after Dune II established the keys of the genre, to which it remains excessively faithful. It looses in the individual mode, weighed down by a deficient AI and the absence of campaign and it is shown to be funny and innovative in the multiplayer, to which clearly it is oriented.- Meristation

Australian developer Big Ant Studios double faults on its opening serve regarding tennis game developing; while we can appreciate the effort, AO Tennis lacks the level of polish, depth, variety and fun we'd been hoping for so long now. A good example to show there are not too-old formulas, just wrong approaches to reignite them. Taking the base of D&D Arcade and introducing plenty of RPG and Hack'n Slash elements, Vanillaware has made its finest game.- Meristation

The ideas of Light Fall are unique. However, they are underutilized and the gameplay becomes repetitive too soon. Light Fall is a fun and beautiful 2D platformer, but also a bunch of undeveloped ideas and a too short experience. Only recommended for fans of the genre and speedrunners.- Meristation
