A casual tribute to the history of rallys with very attractive and minimalist graphics, tons of legendary cars to unlock and direct fun at the controls.

Ninja Theory completely forgets about the hands-on experience (which at times is quite boring) and wholeheartedly dedicates itself to the mission of delivering a cinematic spectacle that Xbox Series can boast about from now on. Mission accomplished. Although it makes several sacrifices and tricks to achieve this, on an audiovisual level, it has breathtaking sequences and is a game to be proud of. It's a pity that its narrative, puzzles, and combat haven't evolved in the same way (if they have evolved at all).

STEEP is a decent game that takes a huge risk in this genre, but makes it with a properly general idea. The control is far from being comfortable and easy to adapt, but after 10 or so hours it becomes a great experience. The main problem is the execution of its main ideas.

Blue Reflection is an interesting mix which makes a step beyond the regular "Atelier series" games. Its story seems common from a regular "shojo manga" with fantasy but after each chapter it becomes more interesting until the end. The combat system in battles it's simple but also fun to play and with every other things to do in the game and the notable soundtrack, with really good themes, make it an option to take into account for the genre fans.

Remember Me has a smart combat system, such as those from games like Batman Arkham or Sleeping Dogs. It has a great plot and protagonist, which add some original mechanics to the gameplay: memory remixes and combo lab. However, platform zones are linear and the controls aren't polished at all.

Resident Evil Revelations 2 still is a pretty good entry in the series from Capcom. With great horror elements, better in terms of gunplay (motion controls rules) and full of content for Nintendo Switch.

Before I Forget wants to put you in the shoes of a woman with early dementia, it wants you to live their day-to-day life. And invites you to learn through contact with the objects around you what they are looking for. It succeeds. Sunita, the protagonist, had a life she now longs for. She loved, enjoyed and immortalised moments through images. These moments are the narrative channel to tell her story. The game lasts only one hour, enough to convey a valuable message.

A very enjoyable Run 'n Gun with obvious influences from some classics of the genre. The accurate control and the two worlds with inverted gravity accompany its high difficulty as signs of identity of the game.

Baobabds Maousoleum: Grindhouse Edition is a very imaginative, crazy game, with a strong personality, full of extreme characters and some moments that we will always remember. The soundtrack includes some masterful themes and the game has a handful of secrets to discover beyond its end. It is the clear example of a game that adds more than its parts.

Crossing Souls brings back all the 80s nostalgia, not just in its pixel art, but in its gameplay, merging platforms and beat'em up genre in this action RPG. This teenage adventure is full of fun references to pop culture, while having a dark twist in its main plot.

Naruto's back and well, with same graphics and a gameplay system that uses the very same formula of its latest edition, improving the number of fighters and gaining balance between fighting styles. Though it's very much the same game once again, it will take you long to unblock all the new goodies that Clash of Ninja Revolution 2 offers.

Both versions of ModNation Racers have been developed in parallel to provide two different proposals of the same concept. What we've got here is a crazy kart racing game, with a huge amount of creation tools and a good online community. Only a few shortcomings in the gameplay penalizes the final result. Even so, this is one of the best games of the genre, which aims to be a benchmark in the PlayStation Portable catalog.

Trying a little departure from the Atelier's Arland trilogy, Ayesha brings new elements, like a combat system with more options and a revamped item-crafting system. Maybe its visuals are poor in texture quality, but Atelier Ayesha sure feels like a regular entry in the series.
