A Call of Duty for the craziest fans of Batman and Joker. Characters flying, hooks, jumps, explosions ... A fun game with lots of humor, that if you know how to stay alive, you can succeed.

Gato Roboto is another little triumph for Devolver Digital and developer doinksoft. A simple and satisfying metroidvania that keeps the best of the genre and execute it in a fun Cat-Robot space fantasy and ditches all the unnecessary backtracking these games sometimes have. What it has in charm it lacks in ambition though, and it can fall a little bit short content-wise.

Primordia is an interesting adventure for fans of science fiction, but it is a pity that coming from an original idea as good as religion and moral conflicts of robots, the game turns into something as traditional as the search for a power core. Good game, but not at the level of Rue Gemini or Resonance.

A really good stealth game, with a great design of levels and mechanics totally oriented to infiltration, although with an AI that affects the final result.

Section 8 delivers a good multiplayer online action game, but it's just an average game. The lack of a good single player campaign, the unbalanced weapon system, and the bad use of the jetpack are its main flaws. Overall, at least, it's interesting and fun to play.

Cryptic Studios develops this fast-paced action computer MMO that allow us to create our wannabe hero. The game includes an extremely powerful characters editor which is one of the best experiences in the genre. Champions Online succeeds in creating an impressive heroes MMO.

The first expansion for the award-winning World in Conflict features six new campaign maps from the USSR perspective. Invade America with the soviet army and free the nation with the weapons of Communism. A good add-on for those who own the game and look for further and new challenges. Soviet Assault is a good expansion that does its job well, just by adding a few maps to the original game.

Brink tries to present many good ideas, but it falls short and, in the end, it's just the same gameplay mechanics we've seen many times. The SMART systems is not as dynamic as it should be; the game modes are all the same; the feeling, overall, is that we have a fun and interesting multiplayer game (even in its Campaign mode), but users are left without new emotions. Many customization options that, in the end, are nothing new.

I cannot remember the last time I played a game with so much heart & soul in its textures and scripts. Unfortunately, although Papo & Yo is probably one of the most heartbreaking, emotional and emphatic games of this generation, the feelings and experiences are above the playable side, something that makes the constant puzzles mostly mere an anecdote, but gives at the same time a powerful walkthrough.

Although this ps5 release fails to include a great deal of additional content from R-Type Final 2, it shines so beautifully and plays so nicely that it's a perfect match for any shmup fan. A very solid game from a saga pretty much unexpected to be alive in 2023.

Scary as hell, but not so much like its predecessor The Dark Descent - considered one of the scariest games ever made -, this Machine for Pigs is truly a terrifying Lovecraftian tale of Victorian and industrial horror, with unthinkable machines, mad doctors and more, but with some wrong design decisions.

Monotony and lack of personality. Those are the only two problems that we have found in Apex Construct. If you can rise above them, you are going to find a really nice VR experience. A fascinating story, with a world plenty of secrets and details about itself, and fun action levels that are energetic and dynamic. You should give Apex Construct a chance.

Mercenaries 2 states itself as a third person shooter with a heavy destructive component. Venezuela is the chosen scenario where each and every weapon available will be put to a test to destroy everything in our sight. Freedom of movement, driving and destroying is total. Despite the in-game missions and assignments become repetitive over time, the enjoyment the game provides is high. Technically a run-of-the-mill, has some memorable scenes nevertheless.

New year, new MotoGP. Monumental Games has been able to increase the realism this year, by adjusting the behaviour of the motorbike and tweaking the physics engine (in fact, it's a new one). Still not at the level of best simulation racing games, but approaching. The same game modes from last year, give enough variety to enjoy alone or online. Also, this year you can count a new member in your team, in career mode and split screen, which is an excellent idea.

Gray Matter is an serious and amazing adventure in a simple but well-organized development and a surprising plot. It would be one of that titles that everyone remember with special affection if published 20 years ago, but unfortunately it comes at a very weak moment for its genre. Required for all lovers of adventure games.
