A very enjoyable Run 'n Gun with obvious influences from some classics of the genre. The accurate control and the two worlds with inverted gravity accompany its high difficulty as signs of identity of the game.

Milestone needs to change or improve its engine to achieve something not just better, but also different. The usual player maybe won't find enough new content to justify this new iteration, but if you dig deeper, the game teases some features that should improve in the near future.

Strikey Sisters is a great brick breaker game that vigorously incorporates new ideas to the genre. Cute characters, cool pixel art and refreshing gameplay ideas make for the best entry to the formula in many years. Dya Games surely is one of the indie studios to follow in the near future, if they manage to produce games bearing this quality from time to time.

Plague Road is a mixture between the roguelike genre and the classic Japanese RPG. Although the mechanics works in a nice way, even the innovative ones, is hardly understandable why the developers decided not to give any reward after victory in combat.

Saucer-Like is a typical point and click adventure, but with a great story that has a lot of subtexts to discover. The amazing artistic style strengthens the story and, overall, is a very enjoyable experience.

Baja: Edge of Control offers crazy off-road racing and seeks to attract arcade players as much as simulation lovers. However, mismatches in difficulty (too low in one case and excessive in the other) and some technical flaws make the result not the best. The work of 2XL games renewing the visual section is worthy of mention.

Fight N Rage dispatches another radical blast from the past. If you ever played Final Fight or Streets of Rage you will just love what feels like a new entry on the awesome line of brawlers from Capcom.

Starts as the best Pang clone ever, but some of the mechanics borrowed from the arcade games that Juanito pays tribute to, just leave to be desired when it comes to how they were incorporated. Fun and fast, just not as good as the very first levels promised.

Jettomero is a very beautiful game. It has some good and original ideas but they are not fully developed. The gameplay is superficial and repetitive, and the duration is too short.

Dungeons 3 is an hilarious title which combines real time strategy with role-playing. As an Evil Lord, we must defend our dungeon while we spread our realm of terror. Lots of fun and charming references to pop culture. Too bad its bugs devalue what it could be an awesome game.

Long, hard and varied, Turok 2's campaign is a relic of the past that works better than many modernities of the present. The design can be obtuse sometimes, and the graphics could do with a texture improvement, but still is a classic that now finds a better way to be played.

Without weapons and any protection but your ability to sneak out, you need to avoid monsters and explore scary places, resolve puzzles and discover where your wife Jane remains...if she is still alive. Home Sweet Home is an amusing and terrifying Survival Horror game developed exclusively for PC. It´s a good product, but loading times are far too long and the framerate is inconsistent.

Please Knock on My Door isn't fun. It doesn't want to be. It has not to be so. However, is a great interactive experience that helps the player to understand depression and teaches them how to empathize with those who had been suffering this condition.

Tangledeep constitutes a safe bet in the roguelike dungeon crawler subgenre, thanks to its combat and class systems, as well as a beautiful retro art style and a rather surprising soundtrack. However, it is also pretty conservative, and packs some problems that impact the general rhythm of the game.

Heroine Anthem Zero: Episode I is a curious game which offers an intriguing story in a fantasy world with reminiscence from Nordic mythology and adding to the mix interesting characters, a good soundtrack and a easy-to-stand playability. But it has so many flaws with respect to its graphics, sound and brief duration, even being the first of what is expected to be many other episodes to come, that in the end becomes a decent game with non-replayable content.

The House of Da Vinci is a puzzle based game similar to Fireproof's The Room. Leonardo Da Vinci is missing and your destiny as his most advanced pupil is to find him. Al tough the resolution of puzzles is quite ingenious, controls and camera are very imprecise.

An attractive trip to the subconscious, which uses surrealism effectively to propose a development based on puzzles. However, the emotional connection with the player does not end up being established.
