It's unfortunate that a game with good ideas doesn't manage to reach to its potential. NeverDead doesn't get to shine in the action genre because its gameplay problems. It is original, sometimes beautiful and difficult, but the execution falls flat.- Meristation

Bounty Battle is an indie brawler game with good intentions and great ideas but poor gameplay that could be improved with some small changes.- Meristation

As the third installment in the series, Penumbra: Requiem falls short when compared to its predecessors. Delivered as an expansion pack to Black Plague, developer Frictional Games introduced some notorious changes that generally don't fit too well. Despite some very good riddles to be solved, Requiem lacks of plot continuity and that special flavour that the originals had.- Meristation

Square Enix's Crystal Defenders is just a correct game and one of the weak tower defense-style games of the last months. Challenging, but not specially deep; fun, but too short. For people who have never played a game like this, it can be a nice option, but definitely not for the hardcore gamers who are waiting for a new Ninja Town.- Meristation

Sonic is back, but we still don't feel that he's found his style. Sonic and the Black Knight is very much the same game that we first discovered with its predecessor, but with a better graphic engine that makes more the experience more comfortable. Its a shame that the gameplay system is not able to bare the weight of the game. Still, It'll be a good choice for those who are willing to spend some time with sonic the hedgehog.- Meristation

We could hope for a great platform and action game joining characters such as Jak, Ratchet or Sly. What we didn't expect, until it was announced, was a collection of minigames that aren't able to make the most of these great franchises. Fun minigames, but not as fun as we would like, too many of them taking into account their lack of variety. Anyway, a good option if you bought a Move several months ago and don't know what to do with it, but not a reason to acquire a new one.- Meristation

Operation Broken Eagle is another classic DLC that expands the original experience, but doesn't improve it. Simple main story, new side quests and some cool weapons. However, this is not enough.- Meristation

A nice selection of maps for the MW2 fans, but clearly overpriced to be really appealing to general audiences. Only the hardcore MW2 users will play them enough to take advantage of this polemic Stimulus Map Pack.- Meristation

Omertà: City of Gangsters is far from becoming the crime simulator we all expected. It's a game depleted by notable absences in many aspects and a great idea overshadowed by a really poor execution. The product can entertain, but is unable to attract fans of mafia theme enough because a continuous lack of options throughout the whole game. Fortunately, it is fully distributed and localized with a lower price in Spain, and this is one of the few reasons to buy it.- Meristation

Aphelion is exactly what you’d expect from a Don’t Nod game. More interesting narratively than in gameplay, it boasts strong graphics, sound, and atmosphere—but not much else.- Meristation

Cryostasis is a good attempt to extend the FPS genre and blend it with some survival-horror ideas. Despite the fact that the game is sharp and brilliant at the visuals, it ends reusing the same ideas over and over again. Creepy environment and frozen zombies are the main hazards for Alexander Nesterov, a Russian soldier that has the ability to revive the last minutes of the dead humans. Set in the North Wind, a Russian ship on the North Pole, the game has some good ideas that end on a dead end, providing a quite good game experience.- Meristation

Although enjoyable, especially in local multiplayer, Directive 2080's science fiction story feels too familiar. Mechanically, Supermassive Games is stuck in the same formulas.- Meristation

Buried deep into Duke Nukem Forever there is nice game to be found. Problem is that developers have put their best efforts to hide it from the surface. Despite all of this, when Duke can be him at his full, he can still deliver some good shots of plain fun. Too bad it doesn't happen that often.- Meristation

At first, you feel overwhelmed by so many changes: genre, visual style, characters... Then, you must learn how to play a difficult-to-play game, with so many things to have into account. But in the end, it can be a compelling experience, with its ups and lows. Interesting, but it needs a lot of practice.- Meristation

Forget the PC version because this adaptation of the brilliant Spore isn’t at all on the same level as Will Wright’s new gem. Spore Creatures for the Nintendo DS uses basic gameplay based on doing missions related to finding various items and then using them to create a new monster in a nicely done monster editor. Anyway, the game isn’t bad for little kids.- Meristation

We already know these Sims. We've seen them a lot of time and they have not changed. The 3D effect isn't spectacular and outline of the game does not support important innovations. There are other better versions of The Sims 3.- Meristation

Resident Evil Zero, a 2002 GameCube's game, arrives now in Wii. This title maintains the mechanics of the saga previous to Resident Evil 4. REZ is a classic survival horror game, with ammunition shortage and constant tension. It's an exact conversion, reason why it does not take advantage of the Wii's possibilities.- Meristation

Space Hulk Deathwing is a remarkable adaptation of the table game from Game Workshop. However, it turns out to be repetitive after a long play, slow and repetitive, with some bugs; but the game shines in specific moments turning into a not only frenetic but also visceral, overwhelming and showing its beautifully designed scenarios.- Meristation

A game that can be fun, but overall not so good. Great visuals and an interesting combat system, with some good moments. But its story is not as good as it should be, gameplay is a bit harsh playing with keyboard, and it's so typical that it isn't a fun experience overall.- Meristation
