Shank's main problem is that all the game's positives (and there are quite a few) are either undone or over-shadowed by the lasting impression that it's too short and just too tedious.

It may be short but this geek-chic brawler's fine blend of style and substance makes it worthy of praise.

Not the game we were hoping for, maybe a full release in the future will help this series gain back what it lost here.

Starcraft II has certainly been long overdue, but the immense waiting has really paid off. Blizzard have another jewel to add to their crown, and it's easy to see why. By not veering too far away from the original formula, Blizzard haven't at all 'played it safe' – they've recognized a gaming model that works and then given it a much needed 21st century polish.

A game that will guarantee entertainment through its design and simplicity.

Transformers War for Cybertron isn't a bad game, nor is it something exceptional. It's another third person shooter that fans might enjoy, given the satisfactory storyline and some excellent voice talent. If you're a Transformers fanboy and would love to fight alongside your fellow Autobots, then this is the game for you.

Blur is a racing game that certainly makes its mark amongst the slew of racing games heading our way in the months to come.

In this day and age, after games like Bioshock, Mass Effect and Heavy Rain that successfully blended high quality storytelling and solid gameplay mechanics, Alan Wake doesn’t exactly set new boundaries. By comparison, it comes off across as a derivative and dated affair.

Split/Second is a game for anyone who's looking for a different racing experience. It may not compare to Gran Turismo, NFS, or the other games in its genre, but it's certainly worth a play.
