The single player is enough to warrant a buy, but the national tournaments and multi-player aspects make it one you just have to have in your game library.

Ok, let me get this off my chest right away – Maximo is just too difficult, there, I said it!...but it was an enjoyable experience.

It is clear what each building and item does once you are familiar with them. If you ever forget, right clicking over anything on the world map gives a brief description. Did I mention how much I enjoy this feature?

The constant action featured in the gameplay is just as exhilarating as anything previously seen, as the only thing hampering it is the faulty camera angles at times.

If only it was a little longer and the camera had been adjusted, it would be near perfect.

If you want to play franchise you have to shell out the cash for a 3rd party card or wait for the larger card from Nintendo. We can't really blame Acclaim for the memory card woes, but its dissapointing that the hardware is holding back some of the bigger portions of the game.

Had the GT Advance utilized the battery backed password system, I certainly would have scored this game MUCH higher. But given the exquisite graphics, challenging races, fun tune–ups, the game itself MAY be worth the hassle.
