With great graphics, great sense of speed, a well balanced gameplay and a more than adequate soundtrack, can we say that Pulse is almost technically flawless? Probably, but only because “lack of innovation” isn’t considered to be a technical attribute. [Nov 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

We live in a complicated age for all sandbox games, after "GTA IV". Saints Row 2 is a victim of that comparison, because while it has some elements that are better than the Rockstar game, it can’t satisfy in the technical aspect. In fact, it has some huge technical issues, which not even the co-op, the good customization tools or the mindless fun allow to be overlooked. [Oct 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Even for all the respect and love that the Castlevania series deserves, the gameplay mechanics fell completely out of date. But if you look at it as a “collection item”, it manages to deliver. New players will become desperate with its old fashion gameplay and difficulty, but that’s exactly what Castlevania fans are looking for here. [March 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

A very peculiar game that takes advantage of the five rules of optical illusion to build puzzles and challenges. The minimalistic design and classic music gives it some personality, but it can become quite frustrating in long sessions. [Aug 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

This is quite a contradictory game. The console has so many titles available that this one doesn’t really stand out, but it’s nevertheless a good Donkey Kong. Some of the levels are really creative, but others become quite frustrating because they require too much of the controls, which are innovative but not very precise. It’s the most complete racing game on the DS but it’s not the most fun...There’s a lot of content but not without the sacrifice of the gameplay and of the visuals. [Dec 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

It manages to escape the curse that haunted previous similar efforts from Capcom. It’s not highly recommendable, but offers some interesting moments for eager fans of the series. Good effort Capcom, but can we have Resi 5 now, please? [Jan 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

The art style and the collection of monsters are their only strengths. It won’t make you buy a PS3 but if you already have one and are into the whole ”gotta catch’em all” theme, it’s worth a try. [Nov 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

With some great moments full of humor, great voice acting and some original ideas, Dead Head Fred could have been something else if it managed to get the combat right. Still, it’s something different for PSP owners. [Jan 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

Although we’re real fans of co-op action, we couldn’t help but to feel disappointed. It’s just not well structured and doesn’t seem to offer any real exciting moments. Some of its mechanics are well implemented, but there are some other cooperative shooters far better than this one that don’t even have to pull these kinds of tricks. Some ten mini-games that might entertain you for a while but fail to offer something new when compared with the previous game. But, of course, it’s the Battle mode with up to eight players that will provide all of the fun. [May 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

If you like fast paced beat ‘em ups and you’re familiar with the anime, you can find some fun here. But some of the combats with very specific victory conditions can be quite frustrating and the exploring before the fights could have been better. [Dec 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

We Love Katamari left us with a deep and good impression, but this sequel – or maybe we should say this add on to the series – only manages to add the online play. It doesn’t want to be a killer game and it doesn’t even take advantage of the hardware to fix some graphic flaws, but it’s still one of the most original concepts of the industry. Non-stop action and an amazing destruction engine are the key elements in this sequel, even more ambitious than the original. And it’s true that a few flaws, especially in the graphics and AI, spoil the final result, but the mindless fun it’s all there. [Sept 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

The stylus might offer some new dynamic to these mini-games, but that doesn’t stop them from being repetitive when played solo. This makes playing with your friend a mandatory condition to enjoy it. [Jan 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

By far the best game from Eutechnyx, it is still behind other titles in this genre. Recommended only to diehard Ferrari fans, or those who look for a more realistic style of driving. [Sept 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

This game accomplishes some small victories. It has one of the best hand-to-hand combat systems on a third person action game and remains true to its movie legacy. But the gameplay is kind of schizophrenic and has many weaker sections, especially the ones related with fire arms. [July 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

We might say that this game was a bit “unlucky” with its release date, because it can’t measure up with some of the FPS that came out this year. The truth is, although the time controls are a fun idea, everything else is a carbon copy of every other generic shooter out there. [Dec 2007]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

The franchise makes its next gen debut but with some out of date visuals, especially if you look at other off road racers already released. Even so, the diversity of events and good track design can still offer some “good old fashion” fun. [March 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

In the line of WarioWare Touched!, here is another good casual game for DS. It’s funny and quite intuitive, especially in the competitive mode, but it’s also repetitive and sometimes frustrating. [Sept 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

It could have been a pack of downloadable content for Guitar Hero III. But Aerosmith fans will certainly like it. Some of the tracks are actually fun, mostly due to Joe Perry’s quality as lead guitarist. But it doesn’t add anything new to the franchise. [Aug 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

It’s not a bad game, but it feels somewhat incomplete. It has good ideas for the Wiimote, but it fails to implement them. It has great sceneries but too many slowdowns...To tell the truth, we would rather have waited a few more months for a better result. [Feb 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

It’s still pretty similar to previous titles from the series, but if you like to play with a group of friends, it’s always nice. Maybe the humor and its friendly nature can compensate for the lack of originality… but only if you don’t have any of the other games from the franchise. [Apr 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)

If you’ve enjoyed the previous Turok adventures, you can still find something interesting in this game. Besides fighting dinosaurs with a bow and knife, it’s standard routine stuff, including the set, the human enemy AI and the story. [Feb 2008]- Maxi Consolas (Portugal)
