Mass Effect for the PC is basically the same game as it was on Xbox 360. The dialogue system is still as innovative and the combat is still as intense and intuitive. There are some minor flaws such as occasional framerate issues and annoying loading sequences, but this is still as much of a fantastic game as it’s console counterpart.

This is yet another modern adventure game that's competent without offering anything out of the ordinary. The environments provide a great framing for the experience and the vampire hunter Van Helsing isn't difficult to like. There is a great wealth of challenging puzzles, as there should be. If you're a fan of vampires and the puzzle solving adventure genre you should definitely take a closer look.

This is an odd combination of point and click gameplay with RPG-style battles. Even though the story and the dialogue is fun and true to the series, the developers have gone overboard with the amount of reading that has to be done to progress in the game, which ultimately makes the overall experience a bit tedious.

Haze is neither a bad game nor broken or unplayable. On the contrary, there are a lot of competent features to be found in this game. The problem with Haze is that it never stands out, it never delivers anything out of the ordinary. Four player co-op and some decent multiplayer-modes saves Haze from being a mediocre game.

There are a lot of workout tools that claim to make working out fun, but Wii Fit actually pulls it off. Using your weight and balance to control the game is both fun and healthy, but the absence of online play and a party mode combined with a steep price tag puts a damper on the experience.

Uefa Euro 2008 is probably EA’s best effort this far when it comes to soccer games. Gameplay on the field has been tweaked to an overall better flow and the Captian your country mode is really fun. Charging full price for a game that loses its relevance after the championships is the only major flaw in this otherwise great soccer experience.

At first, this might strike you as a decent movie tie-in. Take a gander under the hood and you'll find abhorrent camera angles, an incomprehensible plot and catastrophic AI. This is a poor effort of a game and you'll do better to just watch the movie instead.

Family Ski offers exactly what you might expect out of a title like this, but there is precious little to be impressed by. The controls are actually the best offering in this title, but the lack of content and overall lackluster production value makes this a questionable purchase.

As one of the launch games for Nintendos download service WiiWare, My Life as a King is a great title. In small doses it's a lot of fun, but the formula grows tedious in the long run. Graphics-wise this game looks great, but it suffers from poor performance from time to time. Overall lack of depth reduces the grade for this otherwise great game.

With charming graphics and a great control scheme, this title is a premiere example of WiiWare titles that are all but cheap hand-me-downs. Controlling your character by manipulating the wind is great fun and easy to understand. This is a short experience though, easily being beatable in one sitting. No replay value whatsoever lowers the score of an otherwise great title that is definitely worth it's price tag.

Boom Blox is a great puzzle game that manages to entertain with simple means. The controls are fun and intuitive enough for anyone to be able to pick up and play the game. Despite the simple gameplay it never grows old or monotonous. Add the ability to build your own levels and you get a long lasting and greatly entertaining game for you and your friends.

Solving crossword puzzles work just as fine on the DS as it does on the kitchen table. It's a shame that the developers haven't utilized the digital platform the game is on though, just throwing crossword after crossword at the player with no variation or extra material is potential lost. It works, but it doesn't bring anything new to the table.

Another blockbuster movie, another movie tie-in game. Time and time again we’re treated to hastily produced games designed to cash in on a movie that’s attracted attention in the mainstream media. Iron Man is no exception to this rule, and even though there are some qualities to be found here the overall experience is a lackluster one.

Echochrome is a puzzle game featuring simple yet cleverly designed puzzles. The graphics are, like the puzzles, simple and perfectly suited for the gameplay mechanics. Echochrome utilizes angles to challenge you in a plethora of levels, and automatically downloads new for you if you’re connected to the internet. There are some flaws to be found, but if you’re into puzzles this is a great title.

Rockstar North has once again managed to elevate the GTA franchise to new levels of excellence. It's the best GTA experience to date, with a fantastic online mode to boot. Sure, this title does have its share of flaws, but when the game as a whole is nothing short of a masterpiece there is no reason as to why this game shouldn’t be a perfect ten.

We're treated to the same formula as we got the last time, with the major addition being the online mode. It’s not much, but since Mario Kart is all about playing together it's enough to make this an entertaining package.

Its intense battles combined with the unique graphical look and equally unique soundtrack makes The World Ends With You one of the most interesting titles to grace the DS right now. If you're patient enough to handle the somewhat complex gameplay and the text heavy dialogue, this is a title you definitely don’t want to miss out on.

NBA Ballers: Chosen one is a game all about super dunks, slick moves and fancy dribbles. Unfortunately Midway has missed out on one essential ingredient necessary in all great sports games: getting the player interested. With bleak graphics and shoddy controls, not even playing with a friend can help this game from being utterly mediocre.

As a fusion between platforming and puzzles, this is definitively a pleasant title. Unfortunately the developers haven't given the game the second level of polish you'd expect from a retail game. Controls, graphics and gameplay all do their job but never stand out compared to competing titles.

Ikaruga is one of the most challenging, fun and addictive vertical shooters out there, and the latest platform to be graced by this title is Xbox Live. This is definitely a challenging game, and the total of five levels is a bit on the short side, but the lean price tag of 800 Microsoft Points is more than justified for such a great gaming experience.

As opposed to previous spin offs in the Final Fantasy series, Crisis Core is actually a fantastic adventure in it’s own right. The presentation is amongst the best you’ll find on a portable system, as is the story and characters. As a prologue to the events in FFVII this is as much a fan service as it is a great place to start for the uninitiated. One of the best games to grace the PSP platform so far.

It’s a unique title in a lot of aspects. Instead of controlling one player you’re in control of the entire team at all times. It’s a system you’ll struggle with at times, but when you get a hang of it you’ll be awarded with an odd and equally enjoyable soccer experience unlike anything you’ve seen in a long time.

Nintendo's third entry in the Smash Bros series isn't just a trip down nostalgia lane - it's also a heck of a fun experience. With an insane amount of content and a gameplay begging for sessions with a bunch of friends this is a perfect addition to the series. A somewhat dodgy online mode and random events during fights mar this otherwise fantastic and frantic experience.

Even though it still relies on a lot of the tried and true mechanics of the Phoenix Right-titles, Apollo Justice manages to add enough new DS-related features to keep this package feeling fresh while adding a great and engaging storyline to the mix. This is the best offering so far for newcomers, and fans of the Phoenix Wright titles are going to appreciate the improvements to the formula.

Battle for the Pacific is a perfect example of how you can produce a modern first person shooter with absolutely no level of innovation at all. Graphics, sound and controls all do their job without impressing but the overall gameplay is utterly mediocre and not worth your time or your money.

Even though it feels more like a party game than playing in a band it's still one of the best experiences you can have with your friends. The guitar isn't on par with the Guitar Hero-equivalent when it comes to quality, but what it lacks in hardware quality it makes up for in a far superior track list. The microphone works just as well as the Singstar one, although the difficulty is more lenient here. The major feature is of course the drums and it's just a blast to learn how to play your favorite songs on the new instrument. A steep price tag is the one major caveat, but if you can muster up the green you'll be treated to one hell of a party experience.

Time Crisis 4 is a great conversion from the arcade original to the console platforms, with minor additions to appease the new crowd. There are a lot of hours of play in this package and as long as you’re not expecting anything other than a classic Time Crisis experience you’ll find a healthy dose of intense action in this title.

Tangram puzzles controlled by easy to learn touch mechanics. With several hundred puzzles you’ll find plenty to do here, but there is limited variation between the puzzles and solving them becomes tedious in the long run. Neves will however be a worthwhile package when the price tag goes down a notch.
