Minimalist graphics and enchanted music arises your imagination and shows that the great story doesn’t need any scripted sequences. Such a pity the game ends too soon to ignore. Add some levels and Bluberry Garden is a sure nominee to the Hall of Fame of games.

Rhythmic game cut to an absolute core. Lots of minigames, simple visuals, a dynamic soundtrack and squeezing one or two buttons. And it is stiff as excrement. [Issue #270]

New engine brought freshness to the series and if it wasn't for shoddy online support and a bunch of nasty bugs, FIFA 14 would be trembling. [Nov 2013]

One can't help feeling that it is a worse version of its predecessor. The game contains a few new features, but some of them make it slightly worse. It's still fun though, with a cool world to explore and an interesting combat system that will keep you entertained most of the time. [Issue#329]

This puzzle adventure oozes melancholy and captivates through atmosphere, setting and for a while even its gameplay. Unfortunately, the game quickly runs out of breath and finishes mostly in agony. [Nov 2013]

It brings a lot of new mechanics and interesting innovations. For fans of the roguelike genre I would definitely not hesitate to recommend the game. It will probably not be a problem to spend quite a few hours in it. However, the problem will arise if you want to compare the second part with the first one. This would probably be met with less enthusiastic ovations. [Issue#329]

But the big problem on consoles are the controls, and across platforms, the bugs that straddle the line between minor glitches and collapsing game mechanics. Graphically, then, it's not exactly a glamorous experience either. Dark Descent should be approached with caution, and it's entirely possible that the game won't suit you for a myriad of reasons.
