While the gameplay and controls could have used a little more work, Fantastic Four is a comic book brawler that may just beat out the summer blockbuster competition.

Turok manages to revive the ailing franchise. The dinosaurs look awesome and fighting them is just as cool.

It is not the best brawler on the market, but Shrek SuperSlam is a good one that gets held back from greatness due to some weak parts.

Detailed and fluidly animated characters duke it out in impressively destructible environments. Framerate and texture issues hold the game back from graphical greatness.

BlackSite has its ups and downs from the start. The story is interesting and the graphics are very nicely detailed. The technical hitches of the slowdown were rather sad.

Any FPS player itching for something new and fresh should definitely check out Shadowrun, anyone else will probably want to save their money for something a little more substantial.

The Godfather: The Don's Edition doesn't feel next-gen. Even with the new additions, it plays like a PS2 game.

The game is decent for an on-rails shooter.

If you need one game to get for the launch, NBA 2K6 is the way to go, simply because "NBA Live" is more of a visual presentation with very little substance.

Metal Slug 3, at four years old, still remains one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences on the Xbox for those who are up to the challenge it presents.

In terms of casual friendly training games, Mega Brain Boost is a good game. The problem is that it lacks the subtle refinements that would have improved the game considerably.

I whole-heartedly endorse the rental of the title, as it's multiplayer will be fun for a week or so before it starts to grow old.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex Edition is what you'd expect to find out of it. It doesn't live up to the HD versions because the severe graphical hit the game takes, but the multiplayer is still a lot of fun to experience and that alone may make the game worth it for you.

RIDE is a blend of two worlds: one that tests your patience versus one that feels surprisingly interactive. With some bugs and controller issues RIDE does come across as a bit unfinished, but Robomodo has fearlessly taken on the role of changing the genre and with that comes a learning curve.

On a console over populated with first person shooters, there's nothing exceptionally special or unique about Pariah. If you really want to play it, give the game a rental.

I'd call Mutant Storm Reloaded a poor man's Geometry Wars Retro Evolved, but the fact that it costs twice as many Marketplace points kinda makes that insult moot.

It is a silly, fun Wii game that is accessible to everyone and wacky enough that it will leave people perplexed or in stitches.

Knock [10 points] off the score if you're not a fan. This brawler exemplifies what arcade games used to be.

What is perhaps most remarkable about Throwback is the intentional lack of effort to updated and broaden the appeal of a franchise that is highly dated in the gameplay department.

The sense of inconsistency throughout the game is troubling but if you look deep inside the game, NBA 07 is enjoyable.

P.N.03 may easily turn off some gamers, whether it's because of the high difficulty level or the hard to pick up controls; but once you get past those issues, you'll get a feeling of nostalgia that few games this generation will inspire.

In conclusion, Project Sylpheed has its ups and downs but does add up to a good experience with lots of action and strong emphasis on an emotional storyline.

The game is cute with charming LEGOs but there isn't as much of a game as even Rock Band 2. The family-friendly soundtrack is sure to broaden the appeal of this game but there are better options available if that isn't a primary concern.

Beyond Time And Space is difficult to pin down with a single score. The source material is fantastic, but the Wii port suffers from grating technical issues. Definitely play this season of Sam & Max, but be aware of the Wii version's quirks before jumping in.

Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny is a solid portable fighter.
