"It's a shame" is probably the phrase that will stay in your mind after finishing Battletoads. Because the title advances at the start all the arguments worthy of a varied, crazy and solid game (not to mention the animated cinematics with the writing and the very successful rhythm). But we get disillusioned when the most engaging phases (beat 'em up and shoot' em up) cease to be renewed, and Battletoads tries to save the ship with very small game sequences, sometimes good but sometimes totally failed.

This game was just lacking some real modern graphics improvements as well as more consistent AI decisions, but ultimately it's still a great episode.

In the slew of independent video games that exist, we sometimes stumble upon pure wonders. Since the budget established cannot compete with the big productions, the developers had to redouble their efforts to reach us and stand out from the crowd. Whether it's quirky gameplay, beautiful writing, or singular art direction, the emotional impact has to be strong to catch the limelight, and that's what Spiritfarer does. The game of adventure and management shows finesse and generosity. Making death the very principle of the game, wrapped in a cartoon style and while maintaining tenderness and benevolence, was a daring bet. Mission accomplished!

Without fundamentally upsetting the codes inherent in Souls Like, Mortal Shell knows how to adorn itself with a personality of its own, as much thanks to its system of discovery of objects as of combat, which manages to largely compensate for the absence of parry posture with mechanics of hardening, determination and counter-perfect perfectly interwoven.

If only one “Puzzle Game / Point'n Clic” remains, There is no Game is undoubtedly one of the most original of recent years. Sassy, very smart, fresh, hilarious, the title of Draw me a Pixel is a real success, which, even if some portions drag a little bit in length, is already a must for puzzle lovers and everyone else.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a little bubble of happiness in a genre - battle royale - that easily boils down to gun battles...The simple fact of having tasted it makes you want to see more. The result is a good game, which will undoubtedly become very good with the arrival of new challenges and the correction of small technical problems.

The early access of Grounded is highly recommendable for fans of the genre or even those who would like an entry point into "accessible" survival, who will however have to accommodate for the moment a few bugs and some sketchy narration. [Early Access Score = 75]

The fan service cannot be enough to make people forget the omnipresent repetitiveness and compulsive farming from which this video game adaptation of Fairy Tail suffers.
