Kratos slices, cuts, but above all strikes in the heart of the player. By turns fierce, contemplative, moving and funny, God of War redefines the eponymous series without refuting its past to which it is intimately linked by its history.- Jeuxvideo.com

Yes, we dare to go for 20 (100)! The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is quite simply a unique experience that truly reaffirms the term "adventure game." Never has a game offered the player such a sense of freedom, constantly renewing the experience. The environments are magnificent, the dungeons are ingenious, and you can't help but enjoy the journey! There's no doubt about it: it's already a must-play, and the hours of gameplay that await you in a gigantic world full of content will remain in your memories for life!- Jeuxvideo.com

Silksong isn't the revolution of a decade like Breath of the Wild or possibly GTA 6. Its difficulty and universe make it a game still reserved for an audience that loves a demanding experience despite a notable effort in its accessibility. Still, in its category, it's a king who has by no means lost his crown. The title oozes the love of its developers from every pore of its skin. In addition to being undisputed in its field, Silksong is an example for all. An example that shows what can be delivered with time and love. Like a caterpillar, the developers of Team Cherry isolated themselves in their cocoon. And for 7 years, they were able to create a video game in the image of silk: light, soft, strong, which will undoubtedly stand the test of time.- Jeuxvideo.com

A deep and intriguing world that we fight, love and run through during dozens of hours, searching for answers to an amazing plot. The game has never looked so good on home consoles, whether in 4K Ray-Tracing or in 60 frames per second. If this update also offers nice game comfort options, the adventure remains similar to what we knew until then, for lack of new content. Despite the number of years, The Witcher 3 remains one of the essential titles of recent years, both in terms of role-playing, history or even open world. If you haven't experienced it yet and don't have a powerful PC, then this next-gen update is a great way to experience the world of the witcher Geralt of Rivia.- Jeuxvideo.com

Trust us, you'll love experiencing the prophetic end of the world in God of War Ragnarok. This new episode contains a moving, epic, generous and extremely dense epic. Santa Monica does at least very well in every aspect of its game and promises to make you feel a string of emotions, enough to brush aside its few weaknesses. And then if the sensations in terms of gameplay are not upset by drastic changes, they remain exceptional and are filled with very beautiful additions. If you thought that the Nordic saga would have nothing new to offer, the adventure of Ragnarok quickly shows you the opposite.- Jeuxvideo.com

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a new masterpiece that makes Breath of the Wild, one of the best games of all time, look like a mess. Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, it is certainly no longer a "revolution," but it perfects the player experience in an epic dimension that is unparalleled. The feeling of freedom, the impression of living your own adventure without constraints, these are the great strengths of a game with an absolutely exceptional lifespan. Tears of the Kingdom is revealed over time, little by little, to the point that it will still have things to reveal to us for years to come. It is a jewel of absolute purity and definitely, adventure with a capital A.- Jeuxvideo.com

Two years later, Death Stranding remains a masterpiece. Undoubtedly always so divisive, the last born of Kojima Productions offers a unique gaming experience, transfigured by the capacities of a PlayStation 5 allowing him to give everything he has in the belly, to the point of pouring into bulimia new unpublished content. Admittedly, not all are equal, but the experience offered by this Director's Cut is complete, can potentially suit more player profiles, can potentially appeal to those who had succumbed to this fantastic and exotic journey on PS4 and who will appreciate to (re) live new adventures with a Norman Reedus larger than life. Certainly a must have for anyone who owns a PS5 and wants to embark on a unique game that is landmark and still upsets us today.- Jeuxvideo.com

Building on an already very good first episode, Horizon Forbidden West hits the stars, becoming a true culmination for the Guerrilla Games studio formula but also for the “classic” open world genre in general. Fascinating from start to finish, with a universe with sumptuous artistic direction, better written and directed, and more engaging from the point of view of combat and exploration, the title is almost irreproachable on everything that he undertakes, showing attention to detail at every moment. In addition, Horizon Forbidden West even has the luxury of being both excellent on PS5, PS4 Pro but also PS4 Fat, thanks to exemplary cross-generation work. We can only regret a final conclusion that was a little quickly dispatched, and a lack of major new features. Not enough to spoil the wonderful adventure that awaits in the prohibited West. A truly exceptional title.- Jeuxvideo.com

Disco Elysium on Switch manages to keep the enjoyment of the original game intact, with excellent readability of text and interface, even in portable mode. The grip on the controller is also well thought out and no point of friction taints the experience. The only downsides: a stable framerate, but which will struggle to exceed 30 FPS and long loading times between each zone. But if not, if you like (very good) reading and universes as original as they are dense, you can go for it: you will surely live one of your best role-playing experiences.- Jeuxvideo.com

Already very enthusiastic during my first preview of the game, I've fallen completely in love with Mewgenics. Edmund McMillen's new project (developed with Tyler Glaiel) embodies everything I've been hoping for in the roguelite genre, and even more so in the tactical RPG genre: colossal content, a combat system of unparalleled depth, and above all, a sense of discovery that never fades. On top of all that, the game is an exceptional generator of stories that can appeal to both seasoned gamers and newcomers alike. Of course, you have to appreciate the creator's distinctive art style and not be afraid of game overs. But if that excites you more than it intimidates you, then you'll be diving into one of the best games of the year. Already.- Jeuxvideo.com

The result is a "definitive" version of the game from a technical point of view which offers a slightly finer rendering than on PS5 Pro, even in Ultra. On the other hand, it is rather at the level of keyboard/mouse controls that the experience remains largely better with the controller. In any case, the PC port of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth remains an excellent way to discover the title while waiting for the third and final part of the FF7 remake planned in a few years.- Jeuxvideo.com

GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon has potential, for sure. It will only take a few tweaks and additional rooms to become a highly commendable Rogue-lite. As it stands, we mainly regret the jumps that are a little too steep, and the ergonomic and questionable balancing choices. But these are the kinds of grievances that can easily be mitigated as an early access phase progresses. For the rest, it offers pleasant fights and a rich bestiary, straight out of Japanese folklore. With very solid foundations that do honor to the 2019 opus, the series innovates, bringing new gameplay, new equipment clearly welcome. Above all, the progression is much smoother - with a nice job on the system to unlock weapons! Somewhere, everything is done to welcome new players and this is a very good point. Even the third-person mode is surprisingly successful. Overall, this opus will undoubtedly lose the purists accustomed to faster gameplay. Path of Exile 2, more accessible and visually appealing than its predecessor, remains a complex old-school game that will appeal to fans of muscular combat. This difficulty, which is nevertheless the heart of the game, can however discourage newcomers or people who are not used to taking their heads. It remains ideal for those looking for a long-term experience, it might not suit casual players or fans of simplified mechanics like Diablo 4. Is the €27.75 supporter pack worth it despite the future free game? Yes, because it already offers much more than some recent AA or AAA. In early access, Path of Exile 2 still promises a lot (narration, new classes, end-game content, bug fixes). For an optimal and free experience, you can also wait for the final version. This title, demanding and focused on improvement, is a worthy successor to the first opus, cut out for players ready to take on many challenges. [Early Access Score = 85]- Jeuxvideo.com

Solasta 2 is a role-playing game brimming with promise—potential just waiting to be realized—though bringing it to fruition will require time: both development time and playtime, in the hope of fulfilling the dreams of Dungeons & Dragons and RPG fans alike. More linear than other titles in the genre, it leverages its original setting, its fidelity to D&D, and its tactical combat as its true strengths. Unfortunately, the lack of freedom, the still-limited playtime, and the bugs encountered serve as reminders of its current state: that of an Early Access title. While awaiting the 1.0 release, this title from Tactical Adventures remains a passion project well worth keeping a close eye on. [Early Access Score = 70]- Jeuxvideo.com

While almost everything about Hytale is reminiscent of Minecraft, Hypixel's title manages to generate interest, even in early access. Even better, we had a great time playing it, both in Exploration mode and Creative mode (despite a few issues "beyond our control," as they say). With this early access, Astral Ascent proves that it has the weapons to carve out a place for itself in the competitive roguelite genre. Thanks to its colorful pixel art graphics, detailed animations and polished soundtrack, the Hibernian Workshop title offers pleasant environments to browse. However, the fights are not left out since the game offers nervous gameplay and many build possibilities that make each run interesting. Despite everything, a few slight flaws overshadow the picture, such as problems with readability or even a lack of logical content for early access. The FPS, yet using a particularly aging engine, therefore takes all the codes of its ancestors with bravery to allow players to evolve in levels built with intelligence, to participate in joyful and dynamic clashes and to observe sublime panoramas. However, taking the old formula literally, the title is sorely lacking in identity. We will then have to face a universe that we have already crossed 100 times. Unfortunately, this is not the only problem with retro production. The title also suffers from a certain repetition, the fault of a particularly shy bestiary. In this first version released in Early Access, inZOI reveals itself to be an ambitious project, rich in innovative ideas and with undeniable potential. The graphics are stunning, and the character creator and the build mode are already very enjoyable to play. However, the game also highlights significant shortcomings, both technically and conceptually. The artificial intelligence lacks substance, and the open world, despite its size, is desperately empty and not very interactive. Social relationships, the pillar of life simulations, suffer from enormous inconsistencies and bugs that mar the experience. We can only believe in the promise of continuous improvements, supported by a detailed roadmap, which suggests a brighter future. In its current state, inZOI is a (very) rough diamond, even an unbaked cake that we can't wait to taste, but much later. [Early Access Score = 65]- Jeuxvideo.com

As it stands, Super Dungeon Maker lays a solid foundation that early access will have to flesh out for the title to reveal its potential. Quite limited at the moment, whether in tutorials or elements and sometimes imprecise in its construction mode, the title of Firechick nevertheless has enough functions to create original and slightly complex dungeons, as evidenced by certain creations of the community which was able to push the game to its limits. It only remains for Super Dungeon Maker to remain attentive to the feedback of its followers, as is already the case today and to take advantage of early access to give substance to its ambitions. For the time being, you will certainly have the feeling of having seen everything in about ten hours, but should have enough fun to make the investment worth it. Disney Dreamlight Valley has a hybrid concept that works well. Couple that with the wonderful world of Disney and you have two very good reasons to immerse yourself in it daily. But the Gameloft title is still under construction and that has something to spoil the experience (bugs, risky optimization, repetitiveness, etc.). If you like first-person stealth/action games that leave plenty of room for creativity and the “retro” graphic style doesn't scare you, you can try Gloomwood's early access without any worries. This Victorian “Dishonored/Thief”, with an atmosphere close to a survival-horror, already benefits from an exceptional level design, making it possible to vary the approaches widely. The desire to offer “early 2000s PC gaming” sensations is there, very clearly, with however the necessary adjustments for a title coming out in 2022. The result is a mixture of very pleasant sensations, as if our Pentium MMX had miraculously crossed the ages, and that developers continued to release games there against all odds. However, we must be aware that this early access, impeccably clean, is only a big prologue and that the best is surely to come. [Early Access Score = 80]- Jeuxvideo.com
