SNK Heroines is a weird spin-off of KOF XIV that aims at the male audience by selecting the female protagonists of the game. But the gameplay has been ruined for the sake of accessibility, and the oversexualized leftover has us still puzzled.

It's a good idea from NIS America to widen access to visual novels out of Japan, as long as they make good decisions. And they don't. The publisher has maybe chosen something too spooky for the Western players. Only translated in English, DanganRonpa : Trigger Happy Havoc definitely forgets some who don't want to play 30 hours like that. The others could be interested in the crazy story but it's far too slow. Players have to read lines and lines of discussion before reaching, at last, a gameplay scene. And don't expect the visuals, in bad taste, to enhanced this not so good assessment.

Clearly too ambitious, Fade to Silence looses itself in the many things it tries, but ultimately fails, to achieve. Apart from the visuals, we can't really find anything appealing, from the rigid gameplay to the poor game design, and worst of all, that punishing permadeath system.

Postal 4 is like the logo of Running with Scissors: a dirty kid running with scissors who takes the risk of hurting himself with them. And the game actually crashes, due to its dubious humor and a rather deplorable technical record.

Obviously, Sniper Elite V2 keeps trying in the same way as the first episode : seven years later, it shows the same qualities and makes the same mistakes. The shooting system is still very fun, almost addictive, and the fans will be glad to discover the new Kill Cam. But it's not enough to hide poor graphics, lack of a true narrative side and some new features of arguable quality. Its low price could however convince some of you to try the experience.

Gear.Club Unlimited is just a bad port of an otherwise successful mobile racing game. Even if the content is generous, the game is expensive, the gameplay is a joke, the AI is crap and the graphics are ugly. Don't bother with this one if you really like cars and racing games.

If we consider it as a fitness game or as a tech demo, Fighter Within can be interesting, but as a fighting games it's just hopeless. The characters are dull, the AI is horrendous, the solo is just a big tutorial, the Kinect nav in the menus works quite awfully and it's just a bit better in-game. In spite of this, the enjoyment of working you muscles for real is here, and the controller-less gameplay is functional if not very good. Actually as a fitness games, Fighter Within is not so bad.

WRC 4 looks a lot like those annualised soccer franchises. Very few evolutions, and nothing but new fills this 4th game of the series, which does not improve by aging. We feel that Milestone has given up, and has just done the bare minimum to keep the franchise alive and make payment for the WRC's rights. Made with no passion, this tasteless game will occupy the most dedicated fans for a few short moments before it's forgotten. Very poor gameplay and a lack of finish won't make many people happy about it. Too bad for the rallye game fans who will have to wait quite some time before they can find a worthy game. Until some new publisher get hold of the license?

As long as you don't start to play, the game seems to be fun, pretty and you can say to yourself that you're gonna spend some nights on it with your pals. But you will soon change your mind. Amongst the only six sports available, three are just good to go to the garbage because of the inaccuracy of the detection. And the others don't bring enough togetherness to be played for hours. At the end of the day, Kinect is far more enjoyable from your couch.

Most likely developed during Ubisoft Montreal's coffe breaks, Tetris Ultimate is quite a bad game. With 4 pitiful game modes and a limited appeal, the games is a cheap ripoff of Tetris DS that came out in 2006. If you want to buy a Tetris game on a portable Nintendo system go for Tetris DS or Tetris 3DS.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 delivers what it promised to do, meaning not much, but that fact alone is worth mentioning. Forget all about the big productions of the market, here we clearly are in another market share: Low Cost gaming. This Dacia of the videogame, once the buyer don't expect the full service, starts scoring points in the spirit of the fanatic of sniper games. If we cant consider recommending this game to the first gamer we meet, a real hardcore gamer fond of Sniper action might well like it. In the mean time, the gamer that does not want to pay the full price (70€) for a game that's so specialized in it's offering, could appreciate this games which is sold at a bargain price.

Since we played Jump Force at E3 2018, we knew it would be a bad game, but we couldn't have guessed it would be so messed up. The game is technically obsolete, the art direction is awful and the gameplay is limited. As for the single player campaign, it will disgust you for good.

Four years after Operation Raccoon, Capcom ventures once again in the TPS multiplayer genre with Umbrella Corps. But the game isn't quite up to the standards of today, and it would have been a better idea to use it as Resident Evil VII's multiplayer mode.

If Chibi-Robot!: Zip Lash were very hyped, the disappointment is even greater. Nintendo has just given us one of the worst titles ever on the 3DS, and one of the worst Nintendo games of 2015.

The Bluecoats: North & South is quite posibly the worst remake we've seen this year (considering it's a remake of another remake). For 40 buck you'll have barely 2h of gameplay, but a truckload of bugs and technical problems. Avoid it, even if you're a fan of the books.

Zombie Army Trilogy is not a good shooter and is not a good cooperation game either. Gameplay is dull and repetitive, level design is ridiculous and the result is far from being on a par with such a reference as Left 4 Dead.

In spite of a promising overhaul, Dynasty Warriors 9 fails in every aspect with it's soulless open worlds, its lousy gameplay and a truckload of technical problems from AI pathfinding to aliasing and atrocious clipping. Only give it a shot if you're amongst the most hardcore fans of the IP.

Keiji Inafune and his pals got us there: we were expecting something big, and Yaiba Ninja Gaiden Z is just another insult to the beat'em all gender. Despite some diversity from one combo to another, the fights quickly become boring because of an out-of-age AI, amongst other faults. Mediocrity in the level design reinforces this very straightforward aspect of Yaiba, which is far from its ancestors from a technical point of view.

Rabbids Land is clearly the title that has been developed too quickly, with not enough resources to do justice to the Wii U. With its long animations and some mini-games that should have been more explored, Ubisoft's title lacks the interesting ideas that made the IP so successful in the past. A shame when you know the Rabbids universe could easily make you smile with their crazy jokes.

When studios like Project Aces are able to introduce us to innovative action flying games, others like Trickstar Games have some difficulties in proposing the same title. With its old-fashioned production and its boring gameplay mechanics, Damage Inc : Pacific Squadron WWII never takes off, the only action players will enjoy being the pleasure of counting the raindrops on their plane's windscreen.

Coming back from the dead, Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor won't present a pleasant experience to the player yet with its gameplay handicapped by the use of Kinect. The game developed by From Software is simply not enjoyable to play, and never offers a moment when situations take fully advantage of the original features and the good work made on the general atmosphere.

Take a little Animal Crossing, add a pinch of Stardew Valley, mix it all up in a Disney cauldron, and you've got Disney Dreamlight Valley! If the formula gives the impression of having the air of a thoughtful marketing project, the game is actually surprisingly effective and endearing. [Early Access Score = 80]
