Tim Schafer’s latest game-baby is a tribute to Metal, with a little parody to the genre. The game has a lot of varieties that is either a curse or a blessing to the game. The game loses a lot of depth because of the varieties, but delivers a humoristic and ever changing package. However the game is technical a little messy, it plays a great tribute to the Metal genre.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves delivers! The singleplayer experience is superb and it looks absolutely fabulous. The characters are very realistic, thanks to the amazing voice acting. And besides that, there are a lot of cool scenes and it has a very fun multiplayer mode. Must have!

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Wintergames is smoother and better than the first game. With multiple players, it can be a lot of fun. You would probably learn the game very quickly as well as being done with the game. But SEGA has succeeded in making a better game and if your fan of the first game, you should probably have just as much fun with this game.

Sudou Ball Detective is like oil on water. The game doesn’t seem to succeed to mix Sudoku puzzles with a story. The amount of puzzles, 240, seems impressive, but is nothing compared to the million in Platinum Sudoku on the Nintendo DS.

Explorers of Time is almost the same product as its two predecessors were a year ago. Its old fashioned gameplay mechanics unfortunately keep you from fully enjoying this basically decent game.

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is more accessible in comparison with his predecessor, but is still very hard. Succeeding gives a lot of satisfaction. Your teammates respond pretty well on your commands, but sometimes like to go their own way. On the visual side the game is awful and the missions don’t give you the chance to explore the big island.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Republic Heroes is not a great game full of bugs. The gameplay is very repetitive and is skipping once in a while, often the camera isn’t positioned right and you can’t see were to go. But the ambiance and the story seem to fit the TV-series very well. Star Wars is one of my favourite film series ever and there are a lot of games out there, but Republic Heroes is doing too much in a wrong way to get a positive grade.

NBA 2K10 has been improved on a couple of points in comparison with is predecessor. The My Player mode is a lot of fun, the defense mechanics has improved and the players conditions are much more realistic...There still a few bugs in the gameplay, like players defending the wrong player. And Visual Concepts, please bring back the online lobbies, please?

Demon's Souls is an amazingly deep RPG which every true gamer will fall in love with. The high addiction factor will make you put hour after hour into this unique adventure. But especially the mysterious atmosphere, crazy challenging gameplay and grand bosses make this game an experience for which you'll sell your soul to the devil.

Wii Fit Plus finds a way to tweak the Wii Fit’s formula a little closer to perfection. The new options guarantee that you’ll be spending a bit more time with both your feet on the Balance Board and the controller firmly gripped in your hand. It’s not a real game in any form but it is a unique way for getting a bit in shape.

Risen is a game that does nothing wrong, but at the same is not bringing something new either. The ambiance of the game is perfect and the story is very good and convincing. It’s too bad Risen is starting up slow and the graphics could have been better. This is a game made for RPG fans, people who don’t like RPG’s should probably focus on other games.

Gran Turismo is for the real car- and racefans. If you drive round after round, to add that one Lamborghini to your garage or beat the time of yourself and others, this is probably the game to get. On the technical side Gran Turismo PSP is a real eyecatcher and it is a job well done by Polyphony. But as a game GT just misses too much, racing to max 3 cars at a time is very disappointing and there is no big career mode as well. It just feels as a stripped down version of what it should be.

Pixeljunk Monster Deluxe is a great game. Simple in essence, but works really swell. It could even become very addictive because of that. Unfortunately it's frustrating difficult to beat the stages in a perfect manor and content could stay out of reach when you're stuck in a stage.

You can make a great beat with a bunch of simple functions through the Live Play-mode, but you can also make great tracks in de Studio mode. The program offers a variety of possibilities to go very deep in the game, but seeks out the competition with the computer-software at that point. And if I have to choose between a PSP game or a computer program I choose to make my tracks on a computer for that use.

The conclusion of ten days Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is that the DS can add a worthy Kingdom Hearts adventure to its library. The fighting is just as fun and full of action as its big console brothers and there are enough missions to keep you busy for a lot of hours to come. Thanks to the beautiful cut scenes, the ambiance of the story is brought to you in a very good way. You have to have played previous Kingdom Hearts games, if you want to get the story. Otherwise you won't understand a thing what is happening to you and around you. That's why Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is only interesting to people loyal to the series.

To give an MMORPG a fair judgment is a difficult one. MMORPG’s develop through years to achieve the goals they have for it. Still a MMORPG needs a solid base to achieve those goals. The character creation is massive and for MMO standards unprecedented. The classes on the other hand, are a little bit boring, certainly till level 10. But the way the story is presented makes up for a lot. The climax is Abyss where PvP is pushed to a whole new level. For the PvE players among us Aion might be the right MMO to go with.

The strange thing about this game is that despite of the positive picture i had from this game, it wouldn’t keep it that way while playing it. The game does a lot of things very well, for sure. De presentation is very well done, the graphics are top-notch, the gameplay is entertaining and the mission structure is cleverly made. But it misses something. Maybe it’s because the game does nothing new and the multiplayer is boring after a while. For the fans of the genre and people who wants to try out a RTS, it’s an almost instant buy. But don’t expect to play it for a long time.

Katamari Forever contains a creative variation of missions in different graphical styles, but brings not a lot of real changes to the game. If you have a Katamari game, you should probably not get Katamari Forever. If you are a Katamari fan or if you never played Katamari, this is the time to get it. But be aware, just a small group of gamers will appreciate this game.

The positive side of this game predominated, but this is still a replay mission of Halo 3, despite of the typical Halo gameplay and the new great Firefight mode. ODST is a midday snack compared to Halo 3, which has much more epic moments. It just misses an interesting story, new graphics and the game should have been longer. We hope to give Bungie something to think about with our grade while creating Halo: Reach.

When you look at Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash-Up, you can’t say it is a bad game. However, it is a big rip-off from Super Smash Bros. Brawl. That last game brings a lot more variation and is more fun to play. The setting of TMNT: Smash-Up is a bit boring and there aren’t a lot of characters in the game. But in the end, the gameplay is okay and that is why in the end the game deserves a 68.

    Wet
WET has some fantastic moments, but is plagued by some annoying deficiencies. It’s really cool to swing through the levels with the well formed Ruby and at the same time shoot some nasty enemies to oblivion. But after a while playing this game, you find yourself doing the same thing over and over again, and the controls aren’t that precise. It’s a fun game you should get when it’s budget priced.

Red Faction: Guerrilla is a sandbox game in its purest form. Watching giant structures collapse is an absolute thrill, and although the characters and their backgrounds aren't very compelling, the awesome weapons and great amount of side missions will take players on a path of destruction for hours to come.
