In the end Dead Island as noted has a few rough spots, but the bombastic game experiences bring this one home.

Rise of Nightmares is a fun game that harkens back to the House of the Dead series and with the controllerless capabilities, it definitely takes this genre to a new level. This makes it a much more immersive experience. In terms of originality, the gameplay is not the most original content of the year but as a Kinect title, it works quite well.

Dead Island is a brilliant game and if you want to take this game one step further, the cooperative mode online truly transcends the single-player experience.

All in all World of Tanks even with some of its minor annoyances is a very addictive game and a solid addition to worthwhile gaming. World of Tanks is great because it can be played in small doses or just jump into one battle after another. Check it out now Look up World of Tanks on the web and have a go!

Graphically, Bejewelled Twist looks like the PC version and the developers have successfully managed to incorporate all facets of this addictive multiplayer title with all its psychedelic colours and special effects. There's definitely no complaints from me. The music and the sound effects once again resonance back to the original game that with the gameplay, make this an entertaining yet sometimes frustrating experience.

Overall, Deus Ex: Human Revolution lives up to the high expectations that the original Deus Ex set.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is the sequel, or prequel that fans of the original deserved all along.

Halfbrick Studios has a runaway hit on their hands here, as my aching arms will attest to. While having an exuberant amount of fruit slashing fun, you are for sure getting a work out here. Have a care not to overdo, because you just get carried away by the silliness and fruit juice splashing fun.

The original Call of Juarez had something that had not really been explored, particularly in modern titles. Moving into modern times without maximising the modern gunslinger character this is just another run of the mill first person shooter.

In the end, Plants vs. Zombies is a very apt game on the Nintendo DS that successfully ports this franchise to this console. With perfect controls thanks to the stylus and the exact same gameplay you find on any of the other platforms, this is one game that DS users should investigate because casual gaming doesn't get any better than Plants vs. Zombies.

Just remember, this is just a straight up simple fighting game…it does not pretend to be anything else. That is why it's so cool in its simplicity. A casual beat-um up that can be played single player or local with a friend or online.

Even though this game was quite short to play, I still enjoyed getting another chance to revisit the wonderful world of Dragon Age II, even though it doesn't offer much in terms of value for money or replayability. However, the price of this game is probably better than most movies released at the moment (Transformers Dark Side of the Moon anyone?) and it does give gamers another taste of this extraordinary RPG universe.

With access to online leaderboards and some great puzzles thrown into the mix, Boulder Dash-XL makes a welcome return to the XBox 360. The only issue with the game is that the new graphics seem a little complex as opposed to the original game.

In conclusion, Cars 2 is a fun game that pays homage to Mario Karts and is definitely a great multiplayer experience on the XBox 360. The downside to the game is that it does not contain access to the XBox Live network which is a shame.

The game has definitely been created for fans of this series but unfortunately on the XBox 360, it feels more like an iPhone or iPad game with its dual controls. It's enough to pass a few hours but don't expect anything too indulging unless you're a true fan.

Virtua Tennis 4 certainly offers gamers a lot of fun with its random selection of mini-games and off-beat career mode but there's definitely that more arcade feel to the game that may not provide as big a challenge for hardcore tennis fans.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is not just a good game but it's a great game and really showcases the capabilities of Nintendo's latest and greatest console, the 3DS. With amazing visuals, a sturdy control system and 3D to die for, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is a must have title for the 3DS and if you're into adventure games, than it doesn't get more adventurous than this.

In the end, Dungeon Siege III is an interesting game and works on most of its basic levels. It may not change the genre dramatically but it still provides a sturdy gaming engine with a relatively interesting story. It's a shame that the multiplayer aspect of the game is severely hampered by its limitations but as a single-player, Dungeon Siege III thankfully works.
