Dirt 3 has modest game length; the concept over all does not grow tiresome which is great. It has solid fun gameplay from single player experience, to multiplayer online or even split screen multiplayer. Dirt 3 may not please everyone out there, what game does really? Dirt 3 is a solid addition to the series, which keeps rally car racing as the coolest thing out there.- Impulsegamer

The board game styled maps, and even the sound effects in this game are well done and flow together to make an original experience. It is well put together and can easily suck you in for hours, even when you're playing by yourself! Hoard is almost like a strategy game, but quicker and more destructive than most. If you enjoy quick game play and hectic atmospheres, Hoard sure does pack a hefty and addicting punch.- Impulsegamer

In conclusion, Dragon Quest VI is pure Japanese RPG and harkens back to a simpler time of exploration, turn-based combat and characters that sometimes never stop talking... err... texting. The problem with Dragon Quest VI is that it doesn't offer the player anything new in terms of new gameplay which is like playing a similar game of this genre 5 or 10 years ago. However there is something endearing about this title that offers both relaxation and excitement. Even though I've seen it all before, there was something inside me that wanted me to keep playing due to the combat, class customisation, discoveries and to an extent the story.- Impulsegamer

In the end, Dungeons & Dragons Daggerdale doesn't offer the gamer anything new in terms of gameplay but gives players a classic sword and sorcery experience plus 10 or so hours of gameplay. It may not be the most exciting game of the year but considering the cost, it's actually not that bad either. If you are a fan of the classic Dungeons & Dragons rules and game settings than you really should check out this game, provided you like button smashing.- Impulsegamer

Having played both Super Street Fighter IV and Dead or Alive Dimensions, DOAD is far superior is our books and is easily one of the best fighters available on any portable console. The gameplay is flawlessly fun and even though we have seen it all before, this may be the fact on home consoles but not in the portable world of gaming. The developers have included enough fan service to make any Dead or Alive fanboy or girl glee from joy but best of all, it's got the gameplay and the graphics.- Impulsegamer

Overall, Thor feels like it is a rushed movie tie-in game with seemingly little thought about the core mechanics of the game, it feels too like there was little in the way of play testing prior to release. To sum up, this game has poor graphics, bad gameplay, average sounds and most likely will only see one play through, if that. At the end of the day, the game feels exactly like what it is, a rushed movie tie-in game.- Impulsegamer

Overall if you are a gamer who is looking for a game that requires thinking, investigating, and crime solving this is the game for you. The well-written cases and deep investigations will appeal to those who like those things. If you are a player who loves graphics and innovation then this is also the game for you since the game does something that is surprising nowadays and creates a one-of-a-kind game that no other game I'm aware of has done before. However, if you are a player looking for an action game you'll want to skip this one or maybe rent it.- Impulsegamer

Avadon: The Black Fortress is a an exciting new adventure that delivers around 30+ hours of gameplay (depending on frequency) and tells a great story.- Impulsegamer

In the end, the missions are the same just different loot drops. The upgrades and different types of ship is the highlight of the game and it is a great way to bring a classic title to its modern players. The approach was in the right direction; it just needs something more into its gameplay. Even so, consider this title an okay game to try out.- Impulsegamer

In the end, Glee Karaoke Revolution Volume 2 on the Nintendo Wii is easily a must have game for Glee fans or "Gleeks" because some thought did go into making this title. Best of all, it is a game that can be played by people of all ages, whether you're 5 or 50 and with a few twists and turns thrown there and there, it's not your average Karaoke game. Add in 20 songs and you'll soon be a certified member of New Directions, whether solo or through multiplayer. Given these facts, Glee Karaoke Revolution Volume 2 is definitely worth checking out, especially if you're a fan of Glee and Karaoke games.- Impulsegamer

Overall, for those wanting to scratch that point and click itch, you probably already have this game, for everyone else, The Next Big Thing features interesting characters and an interesting story and may be a good excuse to have a break from some twitch game play and simply enjoy the story of the game and flex that brain muscle.- Impulsegamer

In the end and as mention, Steel Diver is a game you'll either love or hate. As opposed to running out and purchasing it, you might want to test it out first unless you're a fan of simulators and then I would recommend that you run out and buy this title. It's great that Nintendo are supporting other genres than their core games and hopefully Steel Diver will lead to other ventures into uncharted waters as opposed to arcade endeavours. For me, Steel Diver was an addictive experience and was just what I needed in all these 3DS remakes!- Impulsegamer

Duodecim is a worthy prequel to FF:D. It improves on FF:D and still keeps rewarding Final Fantasy fans allowing them to reenter the Final Fantasy universe once more. Even though the story itself is still manufactured, it is an improvement upon the original. The depth of the game allows gamers to get lost within, but it is questionable if the story will keep them motivated.- Impulsegamer

Let's Cling Together, despite a slightly clunky interface, is a thoroughly enjoyable experience. With a wide arching, controllable storyline, fans of SRPGS in general or patient players who enjoy an enthralling story are ensured many hours of gaming goodness.- Impulsegamer

In the end, this game has been designed for a younger market and is actually not that bad. It does lack some replay value and some of the mini-games are a little dull but for the most part, it's actually an interesting concept, especially with the inclusion of three gaming universes and their six characters. Compared to some of the other Move games available now, I would have to say that this is definitely the better of them for kids. Just be warned that the game does work better with both Move controllers.- Impulsegamer

In the end, I enjoyed Conduit 2 but my only drawback was the game was over before I knew it. Even so, this is the best the Nintendo Wii has to offer in quite some time and if you're needing your first person shooter fix than this is the game to get. It may not break the mould in terms of originality but when it comes to controls and gameplay, Conduit 2 is very sturdy.- Impulsegamer

After completing Portal 2, it's great that Valve have continued on their original premise because this is the perfect game for those gamers caught in the doldrums of endless first person shooters, racers and sport games. Originality is the key here and Valve have succeeded on just about every surreal and cerebral level with its puzzles.- Impulsegamer

In conclusion, Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars was one of the best games I played all year and probably comes in a close third from Dragon Age II and Call of Duty: Black Ops. I needed something less serious and more "fun" and this game was it. As it doesn't take itself too seriously, the developers have made some truly funny moments in the game that had me smiling throughout the game. So what are you waiting for, you might be too old to play with LEGO in real-life but who said anything about video games! Brilliantly addictive!- Impulsegamer

In end, I actually enjoyed this game and even though there are many levels of difficulty to play, it was actually a fun no-brainer title that allowed me to thoroughly relax after a hard day's work. Sometimes I just wanted to chill out and fly around without saving the world from an alien invasion or trying to remain in the top three of some racing title. No Pilotwings Resort is quite the opposite and best of all, it does showcase the 3DS capabilities rather well.- Impulsegamer

In the end, Nail'd may not be the most original game on the PS3 or XBox 360 for that matter but it does provide a good old fashioned off-road racer that may not win anything for originality but it does provide a high speed alternative to the influx of road racers at present.- Impulsegamer

If you are a baseball fan, or even if you want to learn the vagaries of America's summer pastime then you could do a lot worse than to get this game. All aspects are fun to play, the batting is addictive, the pitching and fielding requires more input from the player than what has been traditional in batting and fielding games in the past.- Impulsegamer

In the end, SEGA should be commended for releasing one of their best Super Monkey Ball games to date. Not only does it pay homage to the original GameCube game but it features updated graphics and gyroscope technology that takes the franchise into the 21st century. It's a shame that the 3D doesn't work too well with the gyroscope but if you use the circle pad, the 3D works like a charm.- Impulsegamer

In the end, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell is a fun game, especially for those who have never played the franchise before but just be warned that the game is very slow and if you're looking for action, you'll be sorely mistaken. That's not to say there is no action in the game because the combat is actually fun but it's just a very slow moving game from start to finish.- Impulsegamer
