King of Fighters' long awaited return has resulted in arguably SNK's best looking and performing title in their long and storied career.

Whilst the generic plot and outdated graphics bring down the game somewhat, overall the game has proven itself to be worth the wait, a highly enjoyable experience with a great co-operative mode and one which will keep you hooked for hours. Coupled with the generous bonus of the original game on top of that, Namco Bandai have provided great value for money in this package and one that comes highly recommended.

Sure it’s not Samus but Metroid Prime Federation Force is actually quite a good game on the 3DS and if you’re looking for a challenge with some fun gaming mechanics, it would do you well to check out this title.

Even ‘spoiling’ the game would fail to accurately capture the full extent of what Inside has to offer, and what playing it is like. These might seem like unusual, high-concept ideas for a simple 2D puzzle-platformer, but Inside is a particularly special case.

There is a lot here for those of us prone to nostalgia and the core mechanic is well set for future adaptations. If you loved the book series then you will no doubt be charmed by this game… There are lots of different characters to play through with… but you will find the first few rooms a bit repetitive after a while.

The variety of weapons and weapon variations automatically make this a worms to add to your collection, especially if you haven’t visited the Annelid’s for some time, this is a great game to get back into their world… it is both familiar and new all in the one lovely funny and destructive package.

In summary, Doom Unto The Evil is a fun DLC for the main game which gives players some enjoyable new maps, a couple of new weapons although the handgun really shouldn’t count and of course the Kinetic Mine and the new playable demon which adds to overall Doom mythology well.

Beyond the player choice statistics, the game also invites you to play with others… which I don’t think I’ve really seen in an adventure game before (again this is my first Telltale series game)… it’s an interesting idea and for those of us who are fans of Batman it is pretty cool being able to share our experiences as the caped crusader.

An excellent gaming experience full of nostalgia and some giggles too (read the movie posters before you think about changing them to your own… there are some nice “alternate versions” of movies).

Good for an adventure gaming fix… and if you like a touch of horror thrown in… well you’d be hard pressed to find a better blending of the two.

ABZÛ is a very original game on the PlayStation 4 and if you played Journey before, you may see a few similarities but at the end of the day, this is game should be played on its own merits and on that level it succeeds.

It’s nice to have an incentive to dive back into The Division and the new explosive RC cars are shockingly great fun to muck around with.

Mighty No. 9 is a game hamstrung by its own hubris. By choosing to rely upon archaic design decisions and outdated level design it fails to achieve the level of success so clearly desired by the developers.

The literal definition of a cash grab, this is a blatant attempt to take advantage of the hype surrounding the latest film and prey on the nostalgia of the franchise's fans.

All in all, despite being waaaay overpriced, Call of the Beastmen is a welcome addition to Total War: Warhammer and provides healthy clues the game has plenty of room to grow and improve more as time goes on.

I Am Setsuna is a little too shallow at times to truly stand out as a worthy successor to its precursors but, if you have a hankering for a throwback to Square’s golden age of RPGs but with a current generation sheen applied, it’s worth giving the game a look even if it doesn’t quite manage to reinvent the wheel.
