The Karate Kid: Street Rumble is a well-crafted and enjoyable adaptation that fans of the movies and Cobra Kai TV series are bound to enjoy thanks to the clever ways that developer Odaclick, has managed to translate scenes from the films into fab set pieces and boss battles. For everyone else though, it’s a fun but basic belt brawler that’s fun while it lasts but doesn’t have much to draw you back once Johnny has hit the mat for the final time.- Impulsegamer

It must have taken a certain kind of crazy to come up with a BOWLING-themed horde shooter - but the visual design and gameplay nail it well enough to make this one worth a throw.- Impulsegamer

If you want a fun little challenge, levels that are different each time you play and the ability to use your environment to your advantage more than you might expect… this might be for you. It’s a pretty decent price and whilst it can be quite grueling at times… the chance experiences of intentionally or accidentally beating situations means there’s a lot of value in replaying. A nice little game to have in your collection.- Impulsegamer

Those with a mind for psychology might have questioned why I mentioned Jung in regard to the Ego when the (in)famous Freud introduced the concept… well Jung expanded on it and developed the notion of the collective unconscious and in a way Ctrl Alt Ego is a space station of “minds” just waiting to be connected. If you like puzzle games, a bit of humour with your gaming or just something that is a bit different then grab a copy. It’s quirky and gives you flexibility to play many different ways… for the price there’s a decent bit of replay value. Focus your attention on the game and inhabit it now.- Impulsegamer

Cryptmaster is a unique and engaging dungeon crawler with a quirky sense of humour and some very clever ideas. Though it may be a bit too ponderous for some, and action junkies should probably stay away, those with a passion for linguistics who love a good brain teaser or a good belly laugh should certainly check it out.- Impulsegamer

The game's substantial amount of RPG features constitutes and assembles in a thrilling way that will have you slashing and leveling up for hours on end. Dive into the mythic kingdom of Drova and uncover its enigmatic past through solving denizens’ problems and beseeching issues while also not falling to the dangerous creatures in the wilderness.- Impulsegamer

The retro game style seems a great choice for The Rocky Horror Picture Show game, the side scrolling and chip tunes almost create their own Time Warp! Though some game play elements can be annoying and frustrating to have to attempt over and over… the fact there is no death means it’s not nearly as annoying as it could have been. For fans of the musical or the movie there’s enough here to give quite a few grins of acknowledgement. A nice little game that’s not too pricey, not overly long but a decent bit of fun with some enjoyable familiar tunes in chiptune style. Grab it if you’re a fan of the show or just enjoy sidescrolling platformers.- Impulsegamer

It gives faces and names to far more of your giant ship’s crew, it finally lets you explore it, it adds a great subplot and companion, and it even adds the best music track in the game– the bumping tech choir sung in the Astropathic Chapel. On the box, it says Void Shadows adds an extra 15 hours of content, but if you’ve beaten the game already, it’s more like an extra playthrough. And for everyone else, you’d be cheating yourself by not buying it from the get-go.- Impulsegamer

Miraculous: Paris Under Siege is a game about pure simple fun. From the generous checkpoints and no consequences when you lose all your health to the extravagant combat that feels awesome and the showboaty flair during traversal. The game is a perfect example of why the show is as popular and loved as it is and fans are lucky to get a game that is so genuine to the heart of the series. The only way you can enjoy Miraculous: Paris Under Siege more is to play co-op mode with a friend or family member for an even better miraculous superhero time. With fun gameplay, true to nature graphics, and valiant music, you can never lose with Miraculous!- Impulsegamer

If you have a younger gamer in your life that adores Totally Spies, then this game is definitely for them. Although there is a little bit of grinding and the graphics can appear simple at times, there is enough content to motivate them and more importantly find enjoyment as they explore Singapore in order to stop the mayhem.- Impulsegamer

Real Heroes: Firefighter HD is a really fun game that is satisfying to complete. The uncomplicated and unpressured nature the game provides make this an easy pick up for anyone who may be interested in a firefighting adventure. The quippy dialogue, assorted levels, compelling usage of firefighter tools, and rapid action serves up a quality experience. While some may prefer the previous art style from the original game, the comic book aesthetic looks great and contributes more to the game’s attitude. The game lacks much replay value with undesirable unlockables and there are some bugs that may set you a good way back into a level making you repeat objectives over again, but what is here is a gratifying time that will ignite your heart with a burning passion to keep playing and become a hero!- Impulsegamer

Dog Man: Mission Impawsible is a side-scrolling platformer that brings all the action of Dog Man…well…to your paws! Tackle challenging levels and beat up bad guys in this hightailing adventure to save the city. I really enjoyed my time playing Epyka. The puzzles are creative, the characters are amusing, and the story is interesting even though it’s a little “book by numbers”. I really wish I had more time in this world. Some puzzles felt too short; it was like right when I understood what I was doing, the puzzle was over. If there were ever a sequel to Epyka, I would be looking forward to how the mechanics and gameplay design might expand. Even if the game is a bit on the shorter side, Epyka is debuting at only $10, so you are getting a lot more bang for your buck here in this virtual escapade of uncovering the mysteries of the world and yourself.- Impulsegamer

Fitness Fables is a fitness and sports game that keeps you engaged with the workouts by having a magical story attached to your actions. The game successfully makes working out more exciting and takes the stress off the demanding pressure your body goes through by giving you a different purpose to complete your grueling labors. Some exercises feel a bit awkward and unfair, but nothing beats doing squats in the comfort of your own home to shield yourself from the magical blasts of a giant tree beast.- Impulsegamer

I like the concept. I also don’t even really mind the high cost to upgrade everything, mostly because once you realise the false sense of time pressure of having to accept the next client as soon as they arrive is not real (clients come and go… the important thing is not to accept a new client if you aren’t ready to deal with their request… that’s when the real clock starts ticking). You can develop a workflow of gathering ore while you wait for an ingot to form or for the next client and start getting things ready for the next order. But when you’ve made so much progress to then have the game soft lock you and essentially throw all that (very) hard won progress away… it just becomes unplayable. Either wait until a patch that fixes these or possibly even have a look at the other blacksmith simulator that is available (yes there is a different blacksmith simulator in existence).- Impulsegamer

Drakheir could have easily been a gimmicky showcase for VR hand tracking. Instead, it demonstrates thoughtful design and clever implementation. It makes me yearn for a Dr. Strange VR game—we had Iron Man; imagine opening portals by simply tracing the circle! Drakheir proves the potential of hand tracking and does it exceptionally well. It’s fun, reasonably priced, and lets you live out your magical fantasies.- Impulsegamer

Undying is an isometric survival game about collecting materials while on the clock. The time increments and nature of the game make this an easy game to pick up and play leisurely. The routine story, choppy dialogue, and dry combat work for the most part but serve as a means to an end by being monotonous. While the multiple gameplay options are a bit tedious, it is enough to be fulfilling and you always feel like you are doing something worthwhile. With multiple decisions to make and different ways you can go about things, Undying has a decent amount of replayability allowing you to reap a good amount of entertainment.- Impulsegamer

All in all, both Legacy collections are an eye-opening reminder that we once got far more bang for our buck with older Sims titles. While the two re-releases aren’t perfect in terms of bugs, missing content and a few technical quirks, both games remain as fun as they ever were and the benefit of having new, legal ways to purchase them on modern digital game store-fronts cannot be understated. I really hope EA pays attention to fan feedback to these re-releases and learns some lessons from the past to improve the value of future patches, content and technical enhancements.- Impulsegamer

Retronika is an action and racing shooter that delivers on a lot of fronts. Threading through traffic is demanding in VR at first, but becomes more fun the further you get into it and unlock more upgrades. While the game is easy to put down due to its start and stop style of gameplay and overall casual design, the one of a kind and eccentric nature is delightful to experience.- Impulsegamer

It’s not a complicated game, it’s not overly big (though there is a level editor and steamworks integration) but it’s a good bit of fun and easy to just pick up and play for a few moments between other things. The price is about right for what you get too, not too expensive but not so cheap that the creative team is selling themselves short (I hope).- Impulsegamer

Machinicide isn’t far away from being a genuinely good game, it’s just let down by a few, albeit large problems. If the performance issues can be fixed and an option to change the field of view is added, then there’s hope for Machinicide yet.- Impulsegamer
