Biomutant has a good base and plenty of things going for it, but I think that is also its weakness. It tries to be everything and in the end it becomes a mess of half implemented features and not fully fleshed out ideas. Whilst there is nothing massively wrong with the game, you can have an enjoyable experience. However I still feel disappointed that the game did not hit that next stage which takes it from an OK game to a great game. Maybe a sequel with more focused ideas could benefit this series.

Having played the previous Pokémon Mystery Dungeon title, I found Gates to Infinity a cut down version of traditional Japanese RPG titles, especially the roguelike genre which seems like it has been watered down. The premise of the game is definitely there but it seriously needs some tweaking and additional Q&A which is a shame as the Pokémon franchise is so fun.

In conclusion, Crazy Taxi may not hold the attention of most gamers but for those wishing to walk down memory lane, it's definitely a great investment to play this classic game.

Yes, I miss the swashbuckling and sword-clashing action found in the likes of Black Flag more than I care to admit – but honestly, Skull & Bones’ seafaring sections can be pretty special. There’s a beautiful simplicity to it all – sailing around the seas, watching the stars twinkle above as the sea gently rocks my boat, all while I prepare to turn the night sky red with the burning remains of an unsuspecting merchant fleet. Skull & Bones is far from the perfect pirate adventure, but this is a tale of two halves; at its best, it’s a fantastic sea-sim, but at its worst? I was almost pushed to mutiny.

Certainly grab a copy if you are a fan of Middle Earth and if you like the crafting genre… or even just if you are a fan of Middle Earth, there’s more lore here to absorb whilst traveling the halls of Moria (or digging them out).

If you have interest in the real story of The Zodiac then this game might interest you, though I suspect it is more likely to send you off on a fact finding mission of your own rather than sate your thirst for details, it will give you a stylized feel of what it might have been like to be caught up in the twisted world of this killer and to feel desperately like you needed to solve the ciphers, to unlock the meaning in time to save anyone else from being the next victim.

Chibi-Robo Zip Lash on the 3DS is a fun arcade game that delivers an enjoyable yet clichéd experience on this console!

You can understand and appreciate what the goal was here, and had it have been pulled off, it would have been quiet the spectacle. Instead though, it’s fallen into a game that you will beat, then shelf, never to be looked at again.

In the end, Disney's Epic Mickey 2: The Power Of Two is not a bad game per se but it's also not a great arcade experience. The game itself feels a little too Wii-like in not just the presentation but also the way it has been programmed on the PS3. It just doesn't feel complete. Not being negative, there are still some great moments in the game and exploring the strange stages of The Wasteland is a joy. Unfortunately the frustrations of the game, especially when it comes to your AI component and the controls does become a chore in the end.

Unknown 9: Awakening may not be perfect, but it’s not a failure, either. Amongst its advantages are unique combat mechanics and picturesque scenery. Generally speaking, I enjoyed the title. On the other hand, the game struggles with technical problems. Sluggish controls and visual issues spoil the overall experience.

Hotel Barcelona is a blood-soaked, 2.5D slasher action game where you play as Justine, a federal marshal unwillingly sharing a mind with the murderous Dr. Carnival, navigating a hotel full of America’s most dangerous killers. The game mixes intense combat, roguelite mechanics, and branching exploration with quirky NPCs, phantoms from past runs, and risk-reward systems, but many of these ideas feel more like flashes of promise than fully realized features. Its punk-inspired aesthetic, grim humor, and aggressive style give it a distinct personality, yet the short runtime and underused mechanics make the overall experience feel lighter than it should be.

Overall, it’s a pick up and play game, with great user friendly controls, fun, addictive gameplay, witty one liners and carnage, it’s easy for any kind of player to pick up the controller and have some good fun, it won’t last forever as repetition is the game’s biggest shortcoming but it’s definitely fun and replayable, a great time killer or stress relief. The game’s value is great too, at $49.95 it’s priced well for the level of content and fun I found and had playing this game.

For players looking for a casual and low-pressure simulation, Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 might be worth a try. But for those seeking a more varied and polished experience, the game falls short of what you’d expect from a title on the Xbox Series X. With some improvements to gameplay mechanics, deeper tool upgrades, and more stable performance, it could have been so much more. As it stands, Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 is an enjoyable but ultimately shallow experience

While it has some minor redeeming qualities Defiance is just too bland and unoriginal to recommend. If you’re done with Borderlands and want more this might interest you, but it’s a step down. A really, really big step down.

This is absolutely one of those games that police, drug users and drug dealers would actually appreciate for various different reasons. It may invoke some serious laughter or a moment of anxiety, but as stated earlier, this game is inappropriate for whining B*tches! The appeal kind of wears off quickly, but you will value the experience.

Ultimate Band can still be fun. It’s not horrific to play, and the multiplayer mode can be a laugh. Yet for the cost of the game and four Wiimotes with nun chucks, one could just purchase the full band version of Rock Band or Guitar Hero.

Is Spirit of the North worth playing? Despite the previous few paragraphs of ranting, I think it is. There’s genuine beauty in the design of the environments and the way the world is brought to life, which is really quite extraordinary. Also, that soundtrack is just superb and pairs well with the quiet isolation of the fox’s cross-country journey. Just be prepared for some awkward 3D platforming and make sure you’ve got a walkthrough nearby for when you inevitably get stuck at a dead end.

Your mileage may vary if you come into the game expecting another blast-em-up like Rush of Blood but, if you take The Inpatient on its own merits, it’s an intriguing peek into what the future may hold for the quality of VR titles and stands as one of the most immersive experiences I’ve had with the technology yet.

While none of Crown Wars’ gameplay is particularly bad, none of it’s particularly exciting, either, and other games have done it before and much better. If you’re looking to turn off and play a few rounds of generic turn-based strategy, there’s probably something for you here, but for the most part, Crown Wars: The Black Knight is a disappointing addition for a genre crying out for quality entries.

Over all… I’d probably recommend HOMM or Kings Bounty before The Dragoness Command Of The Flame… but if you have gone through all the other options… this can still provide some enjoyment, but probably in small doses as that character reset mechanic can be quite draining.

PlayStation VR Worlds is a fun collection of mini-games that really showcases the PlayStation VR technology but given that, it’s a one trick pony. After you’ve played the titles a few times, they do become a little repetitive, especially how short some of the games are. Nonetheless, it’s still worth a look and will provide some great bragging rights for those who have never experienced VR before.
