Jump Force is a very disappointing game and not only because of the choice to set the narrative on our planet. The low-deep combat system and the clumsy technical department outline a raw game, though full of interesting material to draw on. Paradoxically, the singular artistic direction is only the last of the problems of the game, which sees in its encyclopedic nature the only truly good element.

DiRT Rally 2.0 is a solid improvement for the rally sim made by Codemasters. The physics and the driving model are top notch, even driving with a joypad, while the lack of a couple of locations and the general aging of the Ego Engine limit the game scope.

Crackdown 3 is an old school game that doesn't do anything to sound fresh and new. Sometimes it's fun, but in the long run it's just out of this timeline.

Far Cry: New Dawn is a good spin-off for Far Cry 5, but doesn’t completely match the value of the parent game. If you enjoyed FC5 and want more, this is a good "more". Otherwise, play FC5 first.

Wargrove is a strategic game made with great passion and considerable knowledge of the subject: a must-have for lovers of the genre, but also an excellent starting point for any newcomers.

“Go with the flow” could be the motto of Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 2, a superb simulation of the AMA Supercross Championships (250SX and 450SX). Great race physics and graphics, lots of official contents and customizations, but unpolished general presentation and hideous loading times, just like in the previous chapter.

Etrian Odyssey Nexus is a bittersweet farewell to the series as we know it. It does not add much content to the classic formula, but gives to the players the biggest Etrian Odyssey adventure to date.

Travis Touchdown's return is full of craziness, just as you would expect from Goichi Suda. Unfortunately, is also a repetitive and aesthetically disappointing action game.

A nice rehearsal of the best "Tales of" chapter. Very nice if it's the first time you play it, superfluous if you already played the original version.

Return of the Obra Dinn is simply gorgeous, from the idea to the execution. Finally a gem in which your deductive skills, your logic and your patience are really important: this game doesn't help the player. With an amazing graphic art and a strong gameplay, another great game from Lucas Pope.

Earth Defense Force 5 takes a small but significant step forward in terms of progression and multyplayer, masterfully combining furious action with grotesque scenery. The result, despite the graphic backwardness, proudly manages to keep up, giving us great old-school action.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is bigger and, for the most part, better than ever. It gives to the audience one of the best experiences ever for single player in a fighting game, but makes a few bad choices for the Online Mode that steals the freedom of choice from the players.
