A very good puzzle game, smart and challenging, with a well done hint system and a lot of puzzles. Style and substance on your GamePad.

Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition is a middle ground between a remaster and a remake; the game is not overly aged and benefits from the many improvements resulting so and accessible. This does not mean that it is easier: the level of challenge is the same as in the classic version, and in general this re-release, appreciable by both fans of the saga and newcomers, offers a deep and exciting story.

Virginia is an experimental title that blends cinema and videogame in an unique mixture. The story is rich in mystery and requires a lot of ability in reading between the lines but the experience is worth the challenge.

Returning to play Luigi's Mansion 2 HD is always a pleasure, especially because in terms of level design and puzzles, for me it is the most interesting chapter in the series. Plus the new control system is a real blessing, even more welcome than the new graphics.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind is a solid, well-written and fascinating expansion of an imperfect game. If you loved the original Morrowind and you wanna come back to those lands, characters and lore, you won’t be disappointed.

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin is a delightful game, a small production that exudes care from all pores and manages to instill a relaxing sense of calm in the player. The narration, which draws on classic Japanese folklore, has those simple but winning characteristics typical of the training story. A pure, cheerful and touching fairy tale, capable of holding on to the screen until the (splendid!) conclusion. Unfortunately, some naivety in mission management makes the second half of the game a bit redundant. It would have been perfect to "dry" the continuous backtracking, enriching the central part with some unprecedented fighting. However, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin can be loved, with well implemented game elements and wonderful art direction.

A 4X game like no other. Unique and innovative, full with interesting mechanics - and some weird ones. Humankind has some clear flaws, indeed, but kudos to Amplitude for pushing the genre forward.

FC 26 shakes off its laziness and pumps some blood into the veins of virtual soccer, putting gameplay back in the spotlight: more credible, more human, with enough heart to move PES nostalgics. The archetypes finally give the players soul, and the career modes regain depth. Of course, it's not all gold: there are flaws, licenses are lacking, cutscenes remain stiff, and there are many microtransactions. FC 26 doesn't revolutionize, but it respects those who play it. It's a step forward, not a quantum leap, and in today's digital soccer world, that's already a lot.

Inglese: Wild, chaotic, and entertaining, Tomodachi Life: A Dream Life isn’t a game for everyone, and it probably never will be. But those willing to embrace its rhythm and appreciate its quirks will be rewarded with a surprisingly engaging experience.

If you are a fan of the Tales Of series this is a golden chance: one of the finest installments of the series is now available in the glory of HD, and despite Dawn of the New World fails to keep pace with its bigger brother, Tales of Symponia alone is worth the price of this collection.

Like the first episode, Anomaly 2 changes the point of view of tower defense genre, with cleverness and a wonderful game design. Blasting away tons of alien forces it's always fun: doing it using the brain, well, it's a different story.

To get in touch with Element4l you have to open your mind, thinking outside the rules of the platform genre. If you do so, you'll find a place to heal your eyes and your soul, but beware: this paradise can be cruel sometimes. If you dare to take the challenge, you'll be truly rewarded.

Solasta is a very good tactical RPG that offers a faithful adaptation of Dungeons & Dragons' fifth edition and a robust and satisfying combat system. It doesn't break new grounds, nor does it really try to, but Solasta succeeds at almost everything it sets up to do. If you love turn-based combat and a classic fantasy adventure there aren't many reasons not to try this game.

Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter presents an experience that picks up the mechanics, style, and strengths of its predecessor and places them in a slightly more fluid game, where exploration and combat feel smoother and more responsive. While retaining the previous game’s progression system, it focuses on refining upgrades, combat mechanics, and the difficulty curve, offering a good overall experience. Still a bit uninspired in its boss encounters and not always memorable, its excellent artistic direction supports a solid adventure.

World of Final Fantasy is a great example of how an homage should be done: a solid infrastructure and a lot of passionate work. It's not a perfect game and it lacks in building enough around its core, but it's a really good Final Fantasy game, and it should be enough for all fans.

Mouse: P.I. For Hire is a highly successful experiment that masterfully blends 1930s rubber hose animation with the gritty, disillusioned tropes of hard-boiled noir. While hindered by a rigid level structure that lacks backtracking and some minor repetitiveness in its old-school FPS encounters, the game is tremendously fun. Its chaotic and visceral gunplay is elevated by brilliant writing, caustic humor, and stellar voice acting led by Troy Baker. A lethal and captivating investigation that stands as one of the most stylistically inspired shooters in recent memory.
