Dynasty Warriors: Origins revitalizes the series by returning to its roots with modernized graphics, enhanced combat mechanics, and a richer narrative, delivering the ultimate power fantasy on the battlefield. While the lack of co-op mode and occasional mission repetitiveness may be drawbacks, the game remains a must-play for hack-and-slash enthusiasts.

NBA 2K26 will likely keep longtime fans of the franchise engaged, but it’s unlikely to win over newcomers or those seeking a more approachable experience. Even seasoned veterans may find their patience wearing thin with the series’ chronic lack of meaningful innovation in recent entries.

The foundation of the game is strong, drawing from the two-generations-old TopSpin 4. However, the lack of content, weak career mode, and mandatory "Virtual Currency" detract from the overall experience. While it's exciting to see TopSpin make a comeback, it falls short of expectations.

The Occultist delivers a great atmosphere, a strong sense of mystery, and an excellent premise, but repetitive design and dull enemies keep it from becoming a true horror classic.

Code Vein 2 isn’t a bad game — and that’s exactly its biggest problem. It’s average where it could have been good, and disappointing where it needed to surpass its predecessor. It fails to meaningfully improve its core systems, doesn’t strengthen the series’ identity, and in some areas even takes clear steps backward.

Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is the kind of strange Nintendo experiment that can even push fans of Japanese eccentricity out of their comfort zone, leaving them wondering what they’re actually playing. The creative tools offer plenty of freedom, and players looking to shape their own experience will likely spend most of their time there - only to end up with something they can barely share with anyone else. As a solo experience, it can be mildly entertaining, but only for the patient.

We highly recommend playing Stray, if you haven’t already, on more powerful consoles or PC to experience this intriguing and beautiful story as it was originally crafted. However, if the Nintendo Switch is truly your only option, this is still an okay way to enjoy the game about the cat that has captured so many hearts… even if it’s a bit blurry.

The Crew Motorfest is the best racing game Ubisoft has ever made, but it's still behind much stronger competition. If you've driven all Forza Horizon games or just want something similar but on PlayStation - then you've come to the right place.

Hell is Us is an ambitious and unconventional project that tries to blend souls-lite gameplay with distinctly old-school ideas, but in practice, it suffers from repetitiveness and a sluggish pace.

The Diofield Chronicle is a game that tries to be a lot of things but it ends up being just average. There is undeniably quality in the design and even in the strange battle system and controls, but when we sum everything up it is just another strategy JRPG with a tiresome political story without any special identity.

The Beasts of Burden is already the third story in Mr. Yoko Taro's new card JRPG, although it doesn't bring anything drastically new compared to previous editions, the concept is still quite fresh and different, especially if you haven't played other two Voice of Cards games in the past year.

It’s nice to see Pac-Man back in the spotlight, but beneath the fresh coat of paint and new levels lies an old PlayStation 2–era game that even the best remaster couldn’t fully modernize.

Surprisingly competent 3D stealth platformer that has managed to accurately showcase one of the most famous anti-heroes in the world of fantasy entertainment. Despite its underdeveloped visual presentation, it is still one of the rare Lord of the Rings games that are worth playing.

WWE 2K23 continues on a safe and secure path after the revival of the series last year, building on the new system introduced by the previous game with only a few minor changes. The John Cena Showcase and the very different MyRise story are the best parts of the package, and everything else is business as usual.

Endless Ocean: Luminous is a highly unique and beautiful game that can serve as relaxation software for all ocean enthusiasts. Although it lacks almost any gameplay challenge, the loop is very addictive. However, it quickly reaches its limits, especially if you play alone.

When we consider what it means to be a good Metroidvania, Somber Echoes definitely fits the bill, but doesn’t do anything to really stand out. Even though the game doesn’t do anything bad, it also doesn’t do anything good that we haven’t already seen in other games. At the end of the day, this is just another decent Metroidvania, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Elden Ring Nightreign is best described as beautiful chaos. While it brings a sense of challenge and wild fun with its energetic pace, its inherent balance issue will surely bother Souls players who are used to skill being the decisive factor in victory, not chance.

Extremely nicely revitalized Like a Dragon: Ishin walks the fine line between remake and remaster, offering the usual RGG Studio fun in a slightly different time period while still showing its age in a somewhat rigid system and a departure from the more modern game Yakuza / Like a Dragon titles. It will provide solid amusement for fans of the franchise as we wait for new upcoming games about Japanese crime and honor
