Overall this standalone is there to draw new blood to the gaming series, it's a shame that new blood wasn't considered for the actual game itself, the storyline seems incomplete and the graphics below par for this genre.

For once a title has exceeded our expectations and some. It all goes without saying that if you want the best Call of Duty experience to date look no further than the forth in the illustrious series, it’s quite simply a corker.

Overall Richard Garriot's Tabula Rasa is not your average Massively Multiplayer title, although the basis is firmly planted in that genre, whether it will appeal to everyone and have the same clout as the likes of EVE or any of the other sword and sorcery MMO's is debatable.

Over-all while there are better FPS titles now available with Call of Duty 4 and others setting the grade, there is a place for TimeShift in the grouping.

When you strip away the meat from the bones you might be left with essentially Guitar Hero II 'deluxe' but for fans of the series we doubt many will be disappointed with what Neversoft have achieved.

Jericho is not a bad game it’s just one that lost its way slightly during development. The ability to jump into other team members bodies and harness their powers is a good idea let down slightly by poor implementation and a claustrophobic level design.

Over all, Ace Combat 6 is a good game but because of the final mission, it might be one you'd struggle to complete, but the multiplayer will more then make up for it, specially if you have the broadband speed to make it a real dogfight.

Sports Interactive have definitely returned the Football Manager franchise to where it belongs and created the best management sim on the market, although to be honest, there's not much competition.

If playing with your balls get’s you off, Mercury Meltdown Revolution is the best way to go about it, at least, on the Wii.

The Tony Hawk's series is still in a dire need of a complete overhaul no matter how good the small and subtle improvements to the series are. Since EA and Black Box brought us .skate the bar has been raised and if Neversoft are going to compete they need to start thinking out of the box rather than further improving features that already worked so well in Tony Hawk's Project 8.

It's one hell of a game. With its powerful artistic style and blazingly quick, yet accessible gameplay, it's enough to melt the icy cynicism imprisoning the hearts of even the most jaded among us. That being said, it's not the most complex shooter out there.

Crash of the Titans, in our opinion, sees the Bandicoot returning to his former glory. If you are after a decent platformer to play alone, or with a friend, we doubt you’ll come away from this one disappointed.

Spider-Man: Friend or Foe will not go down in history as one of the greatest games to make use of the franchise. The crisp graphics, warm humour and the ability to play as one of fourteen different marvel superstars doesn't alter the fact that the game is simply far too repetitive, even for the target audience.

Without any huge leap forwards in the graphics or gameplay it isn't going to blow your mind, however if you enjoyed the first instalment then you will certainly not be upset with Opposing Fronts.

Many will mock Blazing Angels 2 for its repetitive nature and although it’s true to a certain extent the game is still a marked improvement from the first encounter. Flight sim aficionados will probably do well looking elsewhere for their thrills, but pick up and play pilots will find a pretty enjoyable romp in the skies awaiting them if they give this title a chance.

Medal of Honor: Airborne is certainly an improvement on what many perceived as a dying brand. It’s not up there yet with the likes of the impending Call of Duty 4, but with a little more innovation and improvements to the online side we can certainly see a return to grace for the once mighty series.

The Tiger Woods franchise is a yearly affair; if you already own ‘07’ we would suggest a rent to see if you like the new changes it offers.

At the moment though, the game is simply far too flawed to be recommended.
