After going through the valley of the shadow of death, The Last of Us Part II comes out as a wayfaring stranger from future days. It's a technical and narrative triumph that defies some of the most basic concepts of the video game. It's brutally beautiful and painfully violent, it's capable of the best and the worst. It's a masterpiece.

Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC expands what we saw on consoles a year ago. It brings new content for the campaign in the form of new weapons and missions, as well as a very entertaining photo mode. Technically it's superb and the mouse+keyboard control fits like a glove.

Instead of a new IP, Elden Ring feels like a swan song; the culmination of 13 years refining a genre. All the ideas and lessons of FromSoftware latest works converge inside the biggest, richest and exquisitely designed open world we've ever set foot on. It honestly feels like a game that won't be surpassed for years.

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the greatest RPGs of the generation. We love Night City, its characters and great writing for every mission. It is also one of the best looking games out there (if your PC is powerful enough).

Tears of the Kingdom brings together the power of adventure, the wisdom of freedom and the courage of creativity, without forgetting what makes The Legend of Zelda so special: the epic moments and the ability to thrill. They were right when they said the title was a spoiler: we've shed tears of joy.

A Thief’s End is not just the best Uncharted ever, but also the verification that Naughty Dog’s kingdom is not of this world. Nathan Drake has earned the ticket to paradise with a game which is as spectacular as a movie.

If Persona 5 was a diamond, the Royal version, with a gigantic amount of changes and improvements, is the treasure of the palace. The spanish localization is the gold that covers it all, and the final detail that makes it a truly invaluable gem for any thief, new or veteran.

If you love RPGs and didn't play it on PS4, don't waste a second: P5R it's an essential take on the genre. As simple as that. And it doesn't matter if you play it on PC (a great 4K@120 fps port) or on the go on Steam Deck or Nintendo Switch (with its technical differences). It's one of those games that will hook you up 'till the end.

I don't know if there the ultimate arcade racing game exists, but Forza Horizon 5 is the closest thing to that definition. It has it all, from a captivating open world to more options, competitions, events and cars than you can imagine. It's the perfect “playground” for any speed fan, and on PS5, occasional stuttering aside, performs great.

Baldur's Gate 3 is an outstanding role-playing game, both in terms of its gameplay and its technical aspects (still with areas to be polished via patch), one that, moreover, is destined to become one of the benchmarks of the genre for taking some ideas, such as the election system and its reactive world, to a level that others have not even dreamed of.

God of War lands on PC with a great port, very smooth, with improved graphics and a good chunk of visual settings that helps to elevate even more the myth of this great, although imperfect, adventure: it doesn't take advantage of all the PC brute force (there is no ray tracing) and mice and keyboard control isn't very enjoyable (at least for us).

Bethesda brings us one of the best games of 2015. It will be the game of the year for many people, for sure. It offers an incredible amount of game options, length, fun and gameplay possibilities but, most of all, it offers a "real" world to live in for the coming months.

The jump to a platform of greater power such as Nintendo Switch seems to have played against Game Freak, but there is no denying that there are very good ideas and much needed changes. And, although it needs work, the Wild Area firmly establishes the foundation of the future of Pokémon.

Even in early access, InZOI convinces with the amount of options, editors and possibilities it offers at launch, even more so with the promise of more content and improvements, and launching at a reasonable price. Palworld is an entertaining game if you connect with its survival and monster-catching mechanics, and its gameplay loop. But, at the same time, it's easy to feel that it's not original, that it doesn't do anything you haven't seen before, and that it crosses some red lines by drawing inspiration from certain games.
