Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny may not be the best game in the series, but the strategy gameplay is still amazing if you can handle the technical issues.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is a stress-inducing experience that recreates the terror found in the movies, and well worth playing.

A fresh take on the Batman, and although some of the moments as Bruce Wayne can be great, the overall experience feels a little flat.

A fun game with a few nice touches that is let down by lacking any real wow-factor. Nonetheless, worth your time if you're looking for a well designed and executed open world game.

Embr is a great concept tied to deliberately off-the-wall and fun mechanics. Like Stretchers and Overcooked, it delights in turning something more serious into something silly.

An amusing and charming fighter RPG with some very unique elements. If you are able to overlook some of the combat's shortcomings, getting to play as Saitama will make it all worthwhile.

Stranger of Sword City is a great first-person dungeon crawler for the Vita. Although marred by some annoyances, it is definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of the genre.

Rune Factory 4 Special is a delightful game with a ton of content to keep you busy, despite feeling a little overwhelming in the beginning. Good localisation and post-game content around character episodes and a Newly-wed mode will please returning fans.

More attention to the story would have gone a long way, but Mortal Shell is an intriguing adventure, and an accomplished addition to the Soulslike genre.

Shu is a great platformer inspired by some classic games, and although it never quite lives up to that inspiration, it still delivers a fun experience.

Despite being nine years old, this remaster makes Red Faction Guerrilla look almost new. With its fantastic GeoMod 2.0 engine, the mayhem and destruction hasn’t lost any of its appeal, though its PS4 Pro “high quality” mode is in dire need of optimisation.

A good fit for the Switch. In terms of the game play, it doesn’t add anything that previous versions didn’t have, however the addition of the bonus content showing the development process is a nice extra for long terms fans of the series. Games like this are more suited to portable play in general so it is great to have Broken Sword on the Switch.

I can’t say that I’d recommend sinking too much time into Raiders if you don’t have people to play with, but that could very well change with the sheer amount of effort MercurySteam puts into revisions of Raiders of The Broken Planet.
