C-Smash VRS feels like the culmination of an idea twenty-odd years in gestation, with a great multiplayer offering, only stumbling with its single player.

Disney Magical World may not be revolutionary, but it feels like an evolution of the Animal Crossing model.

What We Deserve is a great end to the series, but some technical issues and a few story choices make it the weakest of the three episodes.

Bigby Wolf is a dangerous man who will stop at nothing to get to the bottom of what’s tearing his community apart. A Crooked Mile brings out the best in his supporting cast, though.

Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider is easy to recommend for those longing for retro platformers, but is over a bit too quick.

The game really demands that you invest a lot of time in it before you see your labour bear significant fruit. Of course, seasoned players coming from previous iterations will be able to pick things up more easily, and this is perhaps who the title is aimed at. Those fans will find much to appreciate, as what F1 2013 does, it does with a great level of detail and precision.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind is a warm dose of nostalgia, a highly amusing, varied and reverentially detailed step back in time.

Signalis offers an incredible story with a terrifying atmosphere that is just as much about your surroundings as it is about the creatures.

I'm still a big fan of what L.A. Noire tries to do, and with the improvements to interrogations and visuals, it's certainly worth giving it a go.

Victor Vran remains a wonderfully atmospheric dungeon crawler filled with things to love, from Victor himself to the disembodied voice that provides new intel, hints, tips and sarcasm, including a large number of anachronistic easter eggs. The Switch version may not add anything, but what’s here is still a fantastic package and a very welcome addition to the Switch’s library.

DREDGE: The Iron Rig is a nice excuse to get back onto that eerie ocean, but if you've already completed the game it's a bit lacking in danger.

This is a brave, important experience, and one that feels like a form of therapy for the creators. That Dragon, Cancer is truly unforgettable.

The action is frantic, stylish, and addictive – and if that’s all you want from a roguelike shooter then ArcRunner won’t disappoint.

Ridiculous, hilarious and full of the unique surrealism that Nintendo does so damn well, it’s hard not to fall in love with Tomodachi Life and the characters you create. The sedate pace and minimal interaction might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but this is guaranteed to be a cult hit.

NBA 2K20 is another fine entry into the franchise, with this year's story mode being its best yet. There are issues, but the good far outweighs the bad.

Katamari Damacy REROLL is a great puzzler, with one of the weirdest concepts of all time. It still holds up on today's consoles, but the visuals are still a far cry from what you may be used to sixteen years later.

Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath is a great continuation of the story, but the cost is rather steep for what you're getting. Fujin and Sheeva are brilliant additions to the roster, even if RoboCop doesn't work as well.

The conclusion to the Wither Storm storyline is delivered in a refreshing and heartfelt way, and I am looking forward to seeing what Jesse and friends get up to in the conclusion.

Where episode one faltered with pacing, episode two is an almost relentless barrage of action, barely giving you time to breathe. The only real problem with this is that Smoke & Mirrors flies by and is over before you know it, making you desperate for episode three.

A sound JRPG, Tales of Xillia 2 offers a fun yet deep battle system, a great story with tons of optional narrative, and plenty of in-game background information that makes it worth playing even if you didn’t play the original game.
