Aokana is an entertaining Sci-Fi Sports Fiction story, that is ultimately hard to stomach due to a plethora of lewd and toxic moments packed throughout.

It’s engaging and interesting, but not a game for those looking for a quick casual bounce around. This is an experience best played with headphones, greasy palms from the precise jumping, and sweaty forehead from the concentration. It’s not a revolutionary game, but it does what it sets out to do very nicely indeed.

A total audio and visual delight, Yoshi's Woolly World is a strong addition to the Yoshi game series, though only completionists might find they get the full value from the game.

It’s a stunner of a game, both visually and mechanically, and if you do indeed love the 2D platformer genre that pushes your reflexes and patience, Super Rude Bear Resurrection is the best out there. The levels are bursting with colour, complexity, and smart encounters, with a bear wearing a purple baseball cap as the game’s protagonist, looking cool af. Seriously, go out and play this game.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is a fantastic Musou game that stays true to it's Breath of the Wild roots. With some of the best gameplay in the genre, it's easy to recommend.

Those who take the time to play it properly, plan out their strategy for each level and truly think about what they are doing will find it impossible not to like, while those who try random lines or try to find ways of completing a level that is not the intended way won’t have such a great time.

The longest episode yet, this picks up the ball and runs with it, and looks to be building to a tremendous finale.

A simple, fun and charming co-op experience with a variety of clever gravity defying obstacles to overcome. If you can find a willing participant who can handle the immediate difficulty, you'll have a great time bouncing off each other.

Atelier Lulua is one of the better games in the franchise in recent times. The Switch version is absolutely worth getting if you’ve played the Trilogy (LINK) and wanted a new game to follow those. I’m still annoyed by the lack of an English voice acting option but the fact that this release actually plays very well on Switch even in handheld makes it an easy recommendation. I’m glad Gust has finally managed making their new games work well on Switch. Hopefully future entries are this well optimised for Nintendo’s hybrid console.

It started nervously, almost scared of what it was, but at the end of season two, you’ll go to whomever you hold dear, and you’ll squeeze them just that little bit harder than usual. They’ll ask you why, and you won’t answer. There’s a little girl to be saved.

A great slice of frantic cooking fun with a simple premise that is built upon with several layers of depth. While it can be played in single player, the real fun comes from playing with others due to the screams that occur when everything inevitably sets on fire.
