If you don’t like the series this won’t convert you, but if you do, well, you already know what you’re getting.- God is a Geek

When it works, Contrast is a beautifully executed vaudevillian tale of sadness and intrigue, but when it doesn’t, the frustrating glitches and awkward controls will drive you mad.- God is a Geek

Putting aside it’s controversial nature, Conception II is okay as a JRPG. If you can handle the identikit dungeons and by-the-numbers gameplay (and if you haven’t played the many other great JRPGs on both 3DS & Vita), then you may find some enjoyment here, but it’s unlikely to last very long.- God is a Geek

Whilst not the most challenging of games, it still offers fans of the show a chance to enjoy it in a different light. Gameplay can become laborious, though, and the world is more vacant than it should be.- God is a Geek

While it has some clever ideas, Slitterhead never realises its potential, feeling like it would have benefited from more time in development.- God is a Geek

It truly is wonderful to see a company try something creative and succeed in at least some areas. The art, the mechanics and the atmosphere all work and come together very well. The downfall, however, is that Betrayer wants to be mysterious, but the inscrutable objectives become too perplexing due to a couple of factors, and as a result the game becomes one big enigma in itself.- God is a Geek

Back to Bed is a game that will keep you occupied for a short time. The design is something to be admired, but if you’re looking for a more engaging experience, I’d go elsewhere.- God is a Geek

One Piece: Burning Blood is a game for the fans who are able to appreciate the vaults of lore and huge roster of characters. It may look pretty, but It’s just far too harsh on newcomers — prioritising style over substance with a combat system that feels grossly unfair.- God is a Geek

No longer a Tiger Woods game in name, but you do wish they had retained more of the older ideas. But while there's not much content here, it still plays a superb game of golf.- God is a Geek

The Sinking City on Nintendo Switch is a surprisingly solid port of a game you probably didn’t expect to see on the Switch, and offers the kind of dark, contemplative mystery that Nintendo’s console was lacking.- God is a Geek

Ashwalkers is an inventive survival sim that puts the story centre stage. Whilst managing resources and the survivor's physical and mental health is important, the choices you have to make are where it's at its most inventive.- God is a Geek

Godfall is a massive surprise. It borrows combat from God of War and has enough loot to make Diablo blush. It may look garish but it's well designed and has that "one more go" factor.- God is a Geek
